The sunny Sun i designates the top model of the brand, where the i stands for integrated. This rental camper is 8.80 long. And has twin beds.
The high-end vehicle with its modern design is almost the size of a bus, and the tandem axle at the rear is also impressive. When you turn the ignition key, your heart starts beating. Isn't this steamer way too hard to drive? To understand all the systems, you should spend at least a few hours struggling through the operating instructions. You don't want to embarrass yourself at the campsite or motorhome pitch. Because there such a super Knaus looks no different than a Bentley on the boulevard. Both are cool, elite vehicles that look great. And if you don't master them like a virtuoso, it can get embarrassing because everyone is watching. Under the chic shell of the Knaus is the proven Fiat Ducato technology with AL-KO chassis, three axles, due to the weight of five to optionally even five and a half tons. That means: top speed 100. Although it could easily be more, because this camper has 164 hp on board. In terms of technology, Knaus went to the extreme: only the best materials were used, e.g. GRP (fibreglass-reinforced plastic) washbasins and shower trays, real glass shower doors, brass taps, top-class furniture fittings. With beautiful finishes.
The color combination of the woods in the motorhome are very well chosen. And the combination of fabric and leather on the seats in the motorhome gives a modern luxurious look. The plank structure on the bottom of the camper really looks real. This model is a real family camper. It has a pull-down bed and a fixed twin bed at the back. A very extensive kitchen with appliances. With this camper you can have a real camper holiday. Because this motorhome is equipped with water-based heating like the heating at home, getting the motorhome warm is no problem at all. And is therefore also suitable for a winter camper holiday.
Of course you can also count on drawers and cabinets with the soft-closing system and a television that is concealed in a piece of furniture and if it appears, also finds the right channels with an automatic dish.
And for safety, the existing gas bottles are equipped with a crash sensor that shuts off the gas in the event of a collision. Also, this system gives the comfort of automatically switching to the reserve bottle when the first one is empty.
At first you think, how do I control this Knaus flagship. But after a few meters you will know. The Sun i 900 is as easy to operate as a small car. With full overview forward, because the windscreen is huge at 2.1 square meters. Yet the operation is known, Ducato. With the three-litre four-cylinder engine, the jumbo does not accelerate much worse than the usual small 3.5-ton campers.
Of course you need a C or C1 driving license for this class and weight.

Een goede, duidelijke presentatie van deze bijzondere camper. ✔👍 Als je bedenkt dat er hogere, bijkomende kosten zijn, zoals brandstof en tol, zou ik toch eerder een kleine camper huren. Huren om een dergelijke camper uit te proberen, is inderdaad een nuttige suggestie.
