I’ve been tasked to make a tropical shirt for a family member who is sized 5XL and can I find anything at all in that size?!!! So I’m having to draft one from one of his current shirts 😬 It’s a shame there’s not more patterns out there for men.

I really like your vlogs and feel that you have a lot to share with the sewing community. However, I really wish that you’d slow down a bit. It’s like you’re in a race and I’m in a race trying to listen and take in what you’re saying! I would much prefer you to take more time, rather than this type of presentation. You also keep cutting and editing a lot Would be lovely to hear what you have to say, in a more relaxed,, prolonged way You’re not at all boring, so I want to grasp every bit of information that you given. Thanks so much for doing all of this though, much appreciated xxx
Thanks for the feedback Jackie, the original video was almost an hour long, with a lot of ums & ers, in it along with a lot of thinking which believe me is incredibly boring, when I listen back to myself it seems awfully slow but you can use the settings ti slow it down if you feel it's too fast. I can only naturally speak at the pace that I speak at if that makes sense. 🤗
@@Frugalisama would rather you do the ums and arrs,, would slow it down a bit. I’m sure that you will gradually adjust to speaking, a little slower. I completely understand, that speaking on camera, isn’t easy. I just wanted to make you aware that you need to slow down a bit, so numbskulls like me can hear all your important information lol Thanks again for what you do xxx
@@jackieblakemore56 interestingly Kate from the Fold Line leaves in the 'Ums and ers' and the thinking time and she got quite a few comments asking her to not leave them in or to stop umming and erring! They are both excellent presenters, it's just their style and I just pause Sam now and then and also enjoy watching more than once, which works for me as, like you I sometimes miss bits.
