The Taskmaster general format...the first task is always to bring something to impress Greg for the prizes for winning the episode. Then there are usually 3-4 differents tasks away from the stage at the Taskmaster house or other locations then the final task is live at the end of each show. Davies grading point grading system is fantastic, hilarious and definitive and usually is a 5 point scale. At the end of the series the total point are added up for a taskmaster champion. Thank you so much for the sub and for the info/guidance! I did NOT know that about Alex actually, but I've learned today via the comments. Just finished the 2nd episode, and he is already becoming a favorite of mine. I love his facial expressions.
So excited that you’re going to react to this show. I would personally recommend that you do watch in chronological order. Can’t wait to see the next episode.
I have been watching taskmaster for a couple of months and i'm obsessed! (haven't watched all the seasons though...i'm choosing them randomly). Love their sense of humour, banter, and its entertainment quality (it's not really about winning the trophy but having fun which they do) Each season has a particular distinguishing motif/location and each cast has a unique dynamic so it's always fresh and enjoyable. Even if you don't know the contestants, by the end of the season you've seen them at their lowest and don't want to part
Thank you so much for your great comment!! Yeah, I can totally see even just after this one episode what you mean about coming to know the cast. I suspect I will be sad at the end when they go and a new group comes in (but then I'm sure I'll like them too)
@@DavidvsFilmTheres definitely a feeling of loss when a cast goes 😢 if you do continue through the seasons, and this is probably another good reason to go chronologically, but they do something called the Champions of Champions, where they get all the winners from the previous 5 seasons to do like a tiny all stars round. At least you get a few faces back for those :’)
Immediately loving Roisin bodes well, I think. Everyone's great but if it was left to the boys it would be a bit more of a straight competition with almost a traditional panel show feel, I do kind of think she sets the tone more than anyone else. This also becomes a show that features more and more women as it goes along and they're almost always the standouts of each season - the holy trinity of Mel Giedroyc, Sally Phillips and Liza Tarbuck are incredible heavy hitters, I do hope you get to experience them
Thank you so much!! I appreciate the info and the heads-up about them. I really liked Roisin in this first episode because she kind of had more of an attitude and just did her own thing, almost even flighty at times, which I found hilarious. But then I just watched the 2nd episode today, and I noticed in that one she was more serious and competitive, which I also immensely enjoyed. So that just solidified in my mind that I love her in all forms lol
Hi there!! You're DEFINITELY right about AbFab (though I need to revisit it), and I JUST started Dibley on my own at lunchtime :) Great opening episode, and I can see myself really liking the characters.
Just found you, great reaction! I hope you’ll watch the whole thing; I’ll be here for it. In order is probably best, that way you’ll catch a couple of inside jokes as you go along.
I'm so glad you found me! Thank you :) Yeah, I can't say how long it will take me haha, but I'm loving what I've seen so far and plan to keep up with the show!
Yes yes yes YESSS. PLEASE do it all even if you don't release it on channel. Deff one of my favourite things on the internet, forever grateful yt recommended me one of the tasks and so happy I did a deep dive. You're going to have so much fun
What makes Greg and Alex's interactions even better is that Alex is the one that came up with the show and comes up with the majority of the tasks, so the scripted jokes at the opening of each episode that are at his expense were mostly written by him.
It's a joy to watch another person welcomed into the delightful world that is Taskmaster. Watch them all, it's worth it! It took them a little while to find their footing, but I agree that it's worth seeing them all. ENJOY!!!
🎉🎉🎉 You heard your peeps amigo! Taskmaster is different but I promise each season ONLY gets funnier and funnier AND for me it opened me up to a wholle new world of funny people from across the pond. As tou know...I'm an Instructor so Greg Davies has been a big fave of mine for years now. Love his delivery....Big Thank You David!😊💚
Hello my Bestie out Westie!! OH yes, once again you lined up perfectly with something you knew I would enjoy. So great! I don't know these comedians yet, but I could already tell during editing (aka 2nd watch) that I was getting closer to them and their humor. I'm looking forward to the rest of this season, and I think after reading what you and other advised, I'll knock them out in order.
At the start of each season you always wonder who they all are, but by the end of each season you end up loving every single contestant. They really grow on you ☺
I'm like you, I usually don't know the people on Taskmaster, but through each season I just fall in love with most of them. Alex and Greg are also just great, love them so much.
I've rewatched the entire show multiple times and have also rewatched all the reaction channels on youtube as well. Can't express how much i love this show. Can i also say just how eloquent and thoughtful your analysis was at the end there. Really enjoyed watching and have just subscribed! ❤
What an awesome comment, thank you so much!! Made my day :) I plan to continue on with it (how could I not), so I'm looking forward to hearing from you more! Have a great rest of the week-

I'm checked in for this ride. I understand what you mean by not falling head over heels in love with this show immediately. It is a good show from the beginning, sure, but series 4 is where it goes from good to one of the best things produced for TV. Still, all the series are worth watching in my opinion and as you get to know each cast it gets better and better, each season.
Woohoo thank you!! Hey and if you heard me say that, then that means you hung around for the after commentary, which I really appreciate. I also really appreciate the advice and guidance. Be sure to let me know your thoughts on future episodes/reactions please
This is the first time I have see your channel so you may have already done this. But the show to watch is Eight out of Ten Cats Does Countdown. Also, Would I lie to you. Also you can see Roisin in the Ricky Gervais series, After Life, which is fantastic. You'll find all the best comedians on these shows. Oh! and the Big Fat Quiz of the Year!! I love the casts and guests of all these shows!!!
I think it makes sense to watch a full season at a time, specifically for the reason that you stated, it allows you to get to know the contestants better and get a feel for how everyone works.
Thank you so much for the advice! And another thing I did not realize at first is that it's the same contestants the whole season. I thought it was a different cast each episode, so what you're saying makes perfect sense.
SUP! I found Taskmaster around the same time I found your channel, and both have become my go-to's for comfort viewing. I am sooooo so excited to watch your reactions!!! 😊💛🌻
@@DavidvsFilm Yep! It's always good to have a show to watch, especially when there are breaks in time with other shows you like. It does seem like a bottomless well of Taskmaster episodes! lol
I would watch in order, I suppose it doesnt matter, but Greg and Alex really become something special and there are a lot of in jokes. I love series 1 but i knew all the comedians. Other series are better, but its relative, and depends on what comedians you bond with. I will watch all your reactions to this show, its my favourite cheer me up show ❤
@@DavidvsFilm most definitely you'll leave with both, and you'll end up down a UK comedy Rabbit hole. Most of the comedians are also regulars/hosts from other UK shows (would I lie to you/8 out of 10 cats). I love Alex, and it's his show, he comes up with most of the tasks.
You should definitely watch an entire series start-to-finish, yes! You get to know the cast from beginning to end and relationships evolve along the way. On the other hand I'd argue watching the series in order from 1-16 isn't as crucial, although they do start adding new things to the house so there's progression that way. Honestly I'm personally aching for someone to react to the later series since every reactor starts at 1 and it takes forever to catch up! I enjoyed your commentary, before, during, and after, and I'm looking forward to more!
Didn't expect you to do this but I'm all for it. Taskmaster is such a great show. Alex is actually the mastermind behind the show. He originally did versions of it at Edinburgh Fringe Fest.
Greg Davies has some comedy series available too, and Roisin plays in Mad Down with him. She was also in After Life with Ricky Gervais. Greg’s show, the Cleaner, where he cleans up after crime scenes is quite good, as is Man Down.
Yeah Alex comes up with the tasks and I think they film them all over a span of a few days, they're often wearing the same outfit for the entire season in the prerecorded bits. We see them out of order, no idea how they decide which go in which episode but, they strike a good balance!
One of my favorite shows that just gets better and better. So glad to see you giving this one a go. New Zealand and Australia versions are also decent, but nothing as good as the good 'ole British original. Sadly, the American version lasted all of ONE DAMN EPISODE!!! We suck! hahaha EDIT - Oh, and another fantastic thing about Taskmaster is learning about all the comedians you may have never heard of. Even though I watch a ton (a ton!) of British shows, I found a lot of really funny people to watch and follow this show :) EDIT 2 - Haha, okay, I just watched you say pretty much the same thing I just said. I guess I should have waited until you were finished watching before making that "edited" comment above. "Sorry mate!" hahaha
Hahahaha not at all! You write exactly the way I write "Edit 1, Edit 2" 😁 All good! And I really appreciate the advice. That's the best thing about the British chat shows I've seen so far- getting to know new hilarious people. Thanks as always for your thoughts!
Alex Horne, the sidekick, actually created the show and comes up with the ideas for the tasks with his writing team. It was a concept he came up with at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival that was developed into the TV show. Also, even though it's spelled (to an American) like "DAY-veez," Greg's last name is pronounced just like "Davis." Same for Alan Davies, whom you will meet much later in Taskmaster (Series 12). Finally, Roisin Conaty pops up on a lot of UK panel shows, like 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, but she also acts. She was on Greg Davies' sitcom Man Down, and recently she had her own show, GameFace, for two seasons on Hulu.
Thank you!! Me too! This- along with Would I Lie to You- was at the top of the list for the recommendations I received following my foray into British comedy shows ;)
@@DavidvsFilm if you do come to Dublin do not go to Temple Bar.... It is so expensive and a tourist trap. I would recommend Lord Edward street, George's St or Grafton St! The other counties I would recommended are Kerry, Mayo and Galway. If you get the weather!! 👍

OMG. Is that a McLovin shirt?😂 That’s amazing! So glad you are finally watching Taskmaster. I started watching it a couple of months ago and I’m obsessed. I’ve been watching seasons out of sequence, based on looking at the casts and seeing who I knew. The only trouble with this method is that it’s starting to get hard to keep track of which seasons I haven’t seen.
I have watched each series multiple of times. Both, on my own, and as someone reacting to the episodes on TH-cam. And I'll tell you, I enjoy it everytime.
Dawn French & Jennifer Saunders are a double act & in the 80s & 90s their show was huge. They made incredible movie spoofs, my favourite was their version of The Silence Of The Lambs, so good! They also worked on solo projects too. Dawn did The Vicar Of Dibley & Jennifer did Absolutely Fabulous and I think you’d love both of those.
Holy crap I didn't know they did a spoof of Silence of the Lambs! I definitely need to find that. Honestly I didn't know much about them as French & Saunders, I'd just heard the eponymous title of their act. Vicar of Dibley is on my short list for off-channel watching, and you are 100% right about Ab Fab. That was probably one of THE FIRST British shows I ever watched, and random quotes still come into my head. The other day the server took my plate, and I thought, "Take it away, and bring me another lover."
Just discovered your channel because of this video and really liked your reaction to Taskmaster. Hope you will continue watching all the seasons. Ill be along for the journey if you do.
I think the first couple seasons are good, but more in the sense that there's some of the funniest moments I can think of from the show, but it isn't always top notch the whole way through. Later seasons end up a bit more consistently funny, but I definitely wouldn't skip early seasons.
Greg had a sitcom with him, Roisin Conaty, and Mike Wozniak called 'Man Down.' Ran for a few series, a somewhat exaggerated biography of Davies' pre-comedy days being a teacher and hating it. Worth checking out-- Mike appears as a contestant in one of the later series of Taskmaster, and is someone to look out for.
Thank you so much!! I definitely would like to check out Man Down, even if not for channel reactions just for myself. I've gotten so many great recommendations for amazing British shows that I'm afraid I'll have a full-on British accent by 2025. Or at the very least, one of those horrid blended accents like Madonna had.
If you are gonna jump around I feel like you'd like Judi Love. You should watch her season at some point. She's in series 13. Her and James Acaster are my two fav contestants, they just really mesh well with the vibe of the show imo
Don't jump around, what you talk about re: getting to know the contestants is spot on, and that also goes for Greg getting to know contestants, so you'll lose out on a lot of the warmth of the show and a lot of the running jokes.
Welcome to the world of TaskMaster! For me, this show is always a pick me up. It introduced me to sooo many wonderful comedians I would have never known about. every season each contestant brings something unique. I enjoyed all of these folks, but Roisin Conaty stole my heart! I loved the little stories of Greg and Raisin's little adventures together.
Season 1, and to an extent season 2, are a little slow and awkward while the show finds its footing but there isn’t a bad season of this show. I’d recommend working your way through them even if it’s just in your own time. About half the time I don’t know who most of the contestants are but you grow to know them all each season.
Taskmaster is great fun and the concept has been sold to several countries, like Sweden, Norway, Finland and Australia / New Zealand. These are the ones I know of, but there could be others too.
Some versions were bad (Germany's was never broadcast; Spain, Portugal, and the US had versions which got very bad reviews). But the Scandinavian ones, the Quebecan one, Australia's and New Zealand's are widely regarded as excellent. The original UK Taskmaster is broadcast in Australia and NZ, and the versions there lean into the fact that their audience is already familiar with the format, and that Greg is the "real" Taskmaster.
@qwertyTRiG : Ta for the info. The original UK series has been broadcast in Finland too. However, is the Finnish version included in the "Scandinavian" ones? Otherwise, those should be seen as the Nordic versions.
@ionnmaur277 I'm not familiar with the Finnish one. I think I've heard it's good. Norway and Sweden I've been told are excellent, though I've not seen much of them myself yet.
like most shows, season one they’re definitely still getting their footing :) tryna figure out what works and what doesn’t. I’d say it really hits it stride in season 4, where they get bumped from 5 episodes to 8 - but the first 3 are still incredibly iconic and entertaining! excited to be on this journey w u 🫶🫶
You will laugh so much watching this show. There are stronger and weaker seasons but overall its amazing and makes you consider how would you approach that task. I would watch chronologically beacause at later seasons they refer to earlier ones
I think after this series Tim Key joined their writers team to help come up with tasks. Cant wait for you to see more, each series has the same cast until a final winner is declared at the end of a series, then after a few series they have the winners of each series compete as well. Other classic british comedy shows are Red Dwarf (sci fi comedy loved by Patrick Stewart), The league of gentlemen (horror comedy, most of the characters are played by the same 3 people) Blackadder (each season is set in a different time period as it follows the bloodline of Blackadder and his manservant Baldrick, the same actors taking on different roles each season apart from the main two, the first season though is very different to the rest)
Yes it is amazing to be in the audience, we have been twice now, series 5 final and series 9 penultimate episode, you get to talk to them when they are setting things up and in the ad break I managed to tell them it was my husbands birthday and everybody sang happy birthday to him he was very embarrassed 😅
Haha that’s awesome!! I’ve been in a couple of audiences, and so I know how big a studio/auditorium can look on camera, but in real life is much more intimate. This looks like one of those situations- where you’re closer to them that you’d think. Do they film in London?
Although you can skip around the season order, I wouldn't switch up the episodes inside each season. Each season contains different comedians who compete throughout the episodes, so there is some need for order. Like the 5 you saw will continue to "battle it out" until the season finale when whoever has the most points wins a trophy of Greg's head. Then the next season is 5 new contestants and so on. In my opinion, each season starts of slower then picks up as they all get more comfortable.
It's best to watch the whole series. Then pick the next series based on who you want to watch next. The comedians are so competitive, there's a real added extra watching them claw for points and fail miserably.
Thank you!! Only reason I asked was in case I was not able to work them all in for the channel with other things I want to watch, or if there was a "crap season" like some shows may have, etc. I should have never questioned the awesomeness of Davies (and now Alex Horne!) in that regard, however :)
Hands down my favourite show. Ive seen every season and every reaction. Some seasons are better than others but they make every season work. Season 1 was a great start but they get better. Stick with it you'll love it. My favourites are 7, 9 and 15 so you got a while to go haha
Although you don’t have to, watching the series in order helps because they have the champion of champions specials with each series winner. There definitely isn’t a bad series of Taskmaster. The recent series 16 is one of, if not the best so far for me.
I suggest you watch series 5 or series 4. Solid lineups and first episodes hit the ground running immediately. I think series 1 has the thing where the show is still trying to find its footing
Roisin (Ro-sheen...the blonde lady) is hilarious you'll definitely like her 🤣🤣. Also the titles of the episodes are usually some random funny thing that's said at some point in the episode

Thank you!
There was an American version and it was exactly what you described at 21:05. I doubt people will ask you to react to that one!
I love this show so much its one of my comfort shows I go back and rewatch eps all the time!
Same ❤
I have been watching taskmaster for a couple of months and i'm obsessed! (haven't watched all the seasons though...i'm choosing them randomly). Love their sense of humour, banter, and its entertainment quality (it's not really about winning the trophy but having fun which they do)
Each season has a particular distinguishing motif/location and each cast has a unique dynamic so it's always fresh and enjoyable.
You've picked three very different women there, but they're all awesome. Mel, Sally, and Liza were definitely among the standouts of their series.
I discovered this show during lock down and watched every season I could on TH-cam. So good.
Dawn French in the Vicar of Dibley. You will love it!!! Also, Absolutely Fabulous.
Aww awesome!! Thank you! I plan to- they're so much fun :)
What makes Greg and Alex's interactions even better is that Alex is the one that came up with the show and comes up with the majority of the tasks, so the scripted jokes at the opening of each episode that are at his expense were mostly written by him.
so happy you're on this series david!
They really grow on you ☺
Thanks! Yeah I’m actually dreading the end of the season now. Gonna miss these guys.
I'm like you, I usually don't know the people on Taskmaster, but through each season I just fall in love with most of them. Alex and Greg are also just great, love them so much.
That’s good to know! I get attached though. I’ll probably have separation anxiety at the end of each season lol.
The most important thing: nobody knows how anyone else has done until the studio recording.
Ohhh interesting!!! I don’t think I’ve heard this yet, but it does make sense.
Omg! Every season is fantastic! I love this show!
Little Alex is actually the creator of the show and the concept. It makes the dynamic as assistant even funnier.
Just got recommended this, haven’t watched you before but I’m super keen to watch you on your Taskmaster journey!
In covid I watched random UK comedy stuff, once I saw this how I was hooked!
Oh I can totally see that. Very watchable/bingeable!
Have a great rest of the week-
You're such a fun, intelligent and charming guy. I appreciate the effort you make to put so much of yourself/genuine thoughts into your reactions. I also believe that the authenticity I feel coming from you is real and that you'd be as engaging in real life as you are on here. I wish you all the success in the world. Cheers, gurl. Matt (Syd, AUS)
Oh wow thank you so much!! I really appreciate your kind words. Yes, I can assure you that I talk too much in real life too lol.
So excited to watch your reactions to Taskmaster!! It's so gooood!!
SUPPPP!!! Ahh thank you so much! I really appreciate that. Glad you’ll be here to share in the fun.
Wanda Sykes - "She called me cricket"! is still in use in our household. The Vicor of Dibley - so worth your time.
Hahaha I love her!! And that’s great to hear about Dibley- I like what I’ve seen so far, and you know I trust your judgment!
My daughter was the one who told us about this show, early in the pandemic, so we’ve been watching for nearly 4 years. We finally caught up.
It's a lot of ground to cover, right?? I suspect I'll be watching for a while lol
@@DavidvsFilm Yep! It's always good to have a show to watch, especially when there are breaks in time with other shows you like. It does seem like a bottomless well of Taskmaster episodes! lol
Season 13 has the funniest moment ever in Taskmaster with Chris Ramsey and his sasage mixer 😂
It’ll take me a while to get there, but I’ve made a mental note haha. This sounds promising 😉
Omg each cast is so unique and thats why all seasons are so good
New sub here for Taskmaster! I just found the show a few weeks ago and have binged from the beginning. I'm on series 16 now.
I would watch in order, I suppose it doesnt matter, but Greg and Alex really become something special and there are a lot of in jokes. I love series 1 but i knew all the comedians. Other series are better, but its relative, and depends on what comedians you bond with. I will watch all your reactions to this show, its my favourite cheer me up show ❤
I agree...It is a GREAT cheer me up show!
Excellent points! Yeah, Alex is great. I have a feeling that ultimately I could face a scenario of "Came here for Davies, left with Alex." lol
Thank you so much for your advice!! And thanks again for the chat earlier on a different comment thread. :)
Didn't expect you to do this but I'm all for it. Taskmaster is such a great show.
Alex is actually the mastermind behind the show. He originally did versions of it at Edinburgh Fringe Fest.
Hey hey!! Glad to hear from you! Yeah I’m already loving this. Easy hilarious fun.
The world needs more Taskmaster.
Greg Davies has some comedy series available too, and Roisin plays in Mad Down with him. She was also in After Life with Ricky Gervais. Greg’s show, the Cleaner, where he cleans up after crime scenes is quite good, as is Man Down.
Ohhh! After Life was high on my list anyway, so even better.
We suck!
hahaha
EDIT - Oh, and another fantastic thing about Taskmaster is learning about all the comedians you may have never heard of. Even though I watch a ton (a ton!) of British shows, I found a lot of really funny people to watch and follow this show :)
EDIT 2 - Haha, okay, I just watched you say pretty much the same thing I just said.
Replace Taskmaster US with Taskmaster Minnesota. Much better.
Thank you so so much!! In the 2nd episode (which I just finished), I'm slowly conditioning myself to switch to "Davis" from my preferred "Davees" lol
This is my favorite show ever. So glad you are watching it!
Thank you!! Me too! This- along with Would I Lie to You- was at the top of the list for the recommendations I received following my foray into British comedy shows ;)
I think you would love 8 out of 10 cats does countdown too. But yes this is the best by far. So feel good and silly. It always makes me happy.
You need to watch them all, they are just brilliant! well worth watching, much love from Dublin, Ireland xx
Oh wow thank you so much!! One of my lifelong goals is to one day make it to a pub in Ireland, actually. 🇮🇪
@@katherina7741 Thank you!! This is exactly the guidance I was hoping to get back in your reply 😁 I made notes!
@@DavidvsFilmStroll through the Temple Bar area once or twice. It's central, and probably worth seeing, but drinking there will drain your wallet fast.
I get you! I wasn’t like absolutely in love the first episode but after 3 or 4 you get sucked in and now I rewatch it annually❤
Yes!! Thank you. I already loved it more just rewatching while I edited this episode, and then by the end of the 2nd one I really felt invested.
one of my favorite shows ever!
So good!!
We’ve discovered many British comedians from watching Taskmaster!
Haha you know it! McLovin now and forever. 😁
If all else wants series 7 ep 10. Series 7 is one of my favorite over all
Im glad you enjoyed it.Such a clever show.
Thank you!! Totally agree! Just put the 2nd one up, but watching-wise, I just finished the 4th episode. So good :)
I have watched each series multiple of times. Both, on my own, and as someone reacting to the episodes on TH-cam. And I'll tell you, I enjoy it everytime.
Haha that’s awesome. Thank you for checking mine out!
@@DavidvsFilm you're welcome... I hope there'll be more
I also really like the British trivia-ish panel show QI (Quite Interesting) I think they have series A thru S? On TH-cam
Thank you so much!! Yeah, I'm very intrigued to check out QI, specifically because I love Stephen Fry, and I've heard he hosts that one.
Aww thank you so much!! I’m very glad you’re here and along for the ride 🙂
Lovely ❤ I hope you do all the episodes of all the series chronologically. It's a fun show and you'll be able to see how it progresses.
Thank you so much! I plan to
I just recently discovered this show through TH-cam shorts and I’ve been hooked!!!
I should have known you did! Our lives follow parallel paths after all haha. I've only just watched the 2nd episode, but I'm already hooked as well.
Some tasks have the answer to the task there if the contestant looks for it.
Yes, they can get things from the shed - although sometimes contestant seem not to have shed-searching skills.
Or shed opening skills. ;)
I started watching taskmaster from season 1 last week.. Im now on season 6... Its so good..
If you are gonna jump around I feel like you'd like Judi Love. You should watch her season at some point. She's in series 13. Her and James Acaster are my two fav contestants, they just really mesh well with the vibe of the show imo
I lied, they're in a three way tie with Kiell
Oh perfect, thank you!!
Don't jump around, what you talk about re: getting to know the contestants is spot on, and that also goes for Greg getting to know contestants, so you'll lose out on a lot of the warmth of the show and a lot of the running jokes.
Ahhhh I see. Well that sounds like a plan then. The overwhelming advice so far matches yours- don't skip around. :) Thank you!!
Totally agree!!
My favorite thing about this show is that it is actually ALEX'S show & Greg is actually his employee 😂
Season 1, and to an extent season 2, are a little slow and awkward while the show finds its footing but there isn’t a bad season of this show. I’d recommend working your way through them even if it’s just in your own time. About half the time I don’t know who most of the contestants are but you grow to know them all each season.
Please watch more!
Taskmaster is great fun and the concept has been sold to several countries, like Sweden, Norway, Finland and Australia / New Zealand. These are the ones I know of, but there could be others too.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Other classic british comedy shows are Red Dwarf (sci fi comedy loved by Patrick Stewart),
The league of gentlemen (horror comedy, most of the characters are played by the same 3 people)
Blackadder (each season is set in a different time period as it follows the bloodline of Blackadder and his manservant Baldrick, the same actors taking on different roles each season apart from the main two, the first season though is very different to the rest)
Thank you!!! I've heard several folks share in your praises of Blackadder specifically.
Epic series. Always a fun watch!
Would watch full shows of every season! Please do thrm all!!!
Thank you!! I plan to :)
Ohhh please watch them all and in order. It's not necessary but why bother skipping between them? Just watch chronologically 😊
Agreed...If he enjoys laughing with 1x1 then all seasons are a must.😄
Yay!! I’m so excited!
Yes it's filmed at pinewood studios, (where james bond, star wars, and indiana jones too name a few)yes it's smaller than you think and intimate.
Ahhh ok cool! So is this truly a set they built for the show then? I just assumed it was an existing theater somewhere.
No it's a set in one of the sound stages there, but the house is a real house
@@gaellenton6086 Oh wow, they did a great job! Oh yes, the house I figured haha. Which, I’m sure, has massive security!
The further you go with this the better it gets, series 3-5 I believe are all very good
Although you don’t have to, watching the series in order helps because they have the champion of champions specials with each series winner. There definitely isn’t a bad series of Taskmaster. The recent series 16 is one of, if not the best so far for me.
Yeah, I agree....knowing the progression of each season is too good and I wouldn't want David to miss all the laughter.😂
Oh I did not know that! Ok perfect, perfect.. thank you!
I agree. Season 16 was amazing.
My favorite series is series 2
Definitely keep watching! My favorite serieses (I guess, I'm American) are 4, 7, and 9, I think. They're great
Hahahahaha you sound like me "serieses"
Subscribed. I’m here for this.
Woohoo thank you!!! I really appreciate that. Looking forward to watching more of these with my new Taskmaster friends and hearing your thoughts!
In fact, one thing some people do is try to guess which person said the episode title before watching.
