14:40 still my favorite shot in all of taskmaster. Beautifully framed, just 2 people watching some jelly, with great comedic timing, sliding down a pole
The "Little thing" in the eat-throw-balance task, was a Weetabix, which is basically the driest breakfast cereal of all time. Without milk, it's like eating sand.
@michaelnolan6951 That's so awesome, it's always fun to hear when tasks and props are borrowed by the UK version, like the entire concept, music and format mean absolutely nothing in The Real Hemisphere
Is the UK the only place that calls it a weetabix. It's just weetbix here in Australia. Obviously non English speaking countries probably have their own name.
The wrestling thing that Aisling took part in for the prize task is a charity event where comedians take on real wrestlers in proper wrestling matches. There was a Taskmaster special called Taskmaster Does The Wrestling which is worth watching if you can find it (I think it's on TH-cam). It does feature some Taskmaster contestants from future seasons who you've not met yet though, so you may want to save it for the future.
hahaha oh I totally get it, believe me. There is another reactor I watch, and she uploads just whenever- could be a week, could be a month. My 9-5 job fluctuates with its demand levels, and usually that's what it is when you see a delay or inconsistency here on TH-cam. Sometimes also just good old fashioned procrastination ;)
Ah David , a ray of sunshine on a cold December day ☀️ ... Both Sally and Bob are elite. Such a great cast all round, cant wait for my fave task of this series ! 🎸😂🥁
Ahhhh thank you!! So nice. And yeah, I wasn't sure which task you were talking about, but the guitar emoji along with what looks like an epic concert task in the intro gives me a definitive clue.. ;)
Nish is so much fun as a contestant on here bc he tries so hard even when failing tasks - especially when it makes him mad lol. But it makes me excited to see your reaction to a team task he does with Mark later in the series :D
Haha right?? I feel like there are some who really come to play and win, and then there's Nish. I have no doubt he'd LIKE to win, but really I think he just sees this as an insanely good time and he's going to enjoy every minute. I hope I don't let you down with the reaction to the team task ;)
Oh Lord Jesus, I can only imagine. Given how this show is already plus 9 seasons to go until then, my suspicions range anywhere from nuclear waste to a** waste.
As hard as it is to NOT give spoilers but the cleaning crew earned their money in the Champions of Champions! Someone does exactly what I would do in what is easily a top 5 all-time task!! 😂
I have been of fan of Bob Mortimer since the unhinged panel show "Shooting Stars" (with his comedy partner Vic Reeves) was shown in NZ in the mid 90s. The scores were kept by giant baby Matt Lucas, frequent guest and borderline alcoholic Johnny Vegas was kept topped up with Guinness and easily prodded into a drunken rant on any subject. There were also multiple clueless American "celebrity" guests who (minutes before firing their agents) were tortured by Bob and Vic because it was funny. One of the Team Captains was the absurdly competitive Ulrika Jonsson (always called Urika-ka-ka-ka-ka! by Bob) Literally everything Bob has been a part of on TV is gold! It's always a delight to see him here (and the other grown up, Sally Phillips is a comedy genius as well!)
Thank you so much as always, Michael! I love learning background like this, as you know. Matt Lucas was one of the first UK comedians that I got to know by name. I first saw him in a few reruns of Little Britain (Fat Fighters!) and then his appearance with Rebel Wilson in Bridesmaids. Does he ever come on Taskmaster?
@@DavidvsFilm I don't think Matt has done Taskmaster (yet!) but he has been working steadily since "Shooting Stars". He was the main villain in "Krod Mandoon" in 2009, a guest star in "Community", one of the core cast in "Doctor Who" and is currently playing in "Gladiator 2" as the MC. He has also been in "Vic and Bob's Big Night Out" from 2017 (he plays the Rag and Bone man)
Personally, I would eat the jelly (only one that isn't dry, so goes down easiest) throw the twiglet (least likely to break apart) and balance the weetabix (has flat sides)
Thank you!! Yeah, plus added bonus- I actually also love Miranda herself! Well to be fair, I've only seen her in the movie Spy, but she left enough of an impression that I looked her up on iMDb. "Fifty Cent Piece!"
A Twiglet is small twig-looking crisp (or chip) so it’s sort of a couple of inches long..bumpy and..covered in…honestly I’m not sure exactly but it tastes like marmite 😂😂😂 they’re quite divisive but I like them!
Oh ok, thank you!! Yeah, it did seem like more in a few episodes. Usually where Alex is like, "We have one more task.." and it's like a paint-on-a-wall task that takes 5 minutes or something. And then I also think of the individual tasks sometimes and tie-breakers, but I wasn't counting those.
I’ve been waiting on this! Glad to see you back ☺️
Thank you so much!!! Life, work, holidays, and all that jazz messing up my routine ;)
@ how dare you have a life away from TH-cam 🤣🤣

If I was Lolly, I’d hate myself forever for the way that clip was edited together and then never forgotten by anyone. lol

OHHHHH gotcha. Thank you!!
Also called just "Weetbix" in the Real Hemisphere, it was in important prop in an episode of TMNZ season 2.

Aisling Bea was the spokesperson for Jameson Whiskey for a few years. She was in quite a few commercials in the US and UK.

Welcome back mate. Hope all is well. Love the Taskmaster reactions.
Yello!!!! Thanks so much. YES, hopefully life will calm the f down, and I can get back to some sense of TH-cam normalcy (hahaha yeah right)
I just selfishly want them more regularly, then within 3 seconds, I think "Oh yeah, there are more important things in life"

Sally did a documentary about down syndrome as her Son has it, she really did win that award. It is a heartbreaking documentary but also beautiful.
Such a fun cast this series! They're all just so likeable! Enjoying your reactions to the lunacy!
Thank you, Carol!! So incredibly likable, agree. Have you seen every season already?
Alex looking small isn’t **just** the thrones.
It’s exactly how Link of Rhett and Link looks small next to Rhett even though he’s over 6ft. lol
Nish looked like John Wick walking through the desert 😂
Hahahaha definitely. But like John Wick 9, when Keanu has long left the franchise and we're on straight to streaming status. ;)

Love your t-shirt, when I was a kid I loved that Disney Halloween episode with the ducks, right up there with Witch Hazel with Bugs Bunny!

Speaking of the cleaning crew in the Lab. Just wait until season 14. I won't say who it is, or what happens, but it's pretty much a biohazard 😂

Fabulous reaction once again ❤❤
Thanks so much!! Another great episode to work with. :)
Feliz Navidad!
I don’t know how to do the upside down ! at the beginning.
Hahaha well 1st, I don't either, and 2nd, given it's almost Christmas and this video has a Halloween overlay, I ain't judging ;)
Personally, I would eat the jelly (only one that isn't dry, so goes down easiest) throw the twiglet (least likely to break apart) and balance the weetabix (has flat sides)
I love your t shirt! 🎃
You seriously need to react to the sitcom Miranda - Sally Phillips is in it quite a crazy character you can't not love xD
Thank you!! Yeah, plus added bonus- I actually also love Miranda herself! Well to be fair, I've only seen her in the movie Spy, but she left enough of an impression that I looked her up on iMDb. "Fifty Cent Piece!"
@@DavidvsFilm She is fantastic, and you will absolutely love the show! Really hope you'll react to it!

"covered in...honestly I'm not sure exactly"
I could be wrong, but I think Greg Davies is the same height as Rhett of Rhett and Link.
It might not seem it but every episode of Taskmaster has the same number of tasks
Normally there are five tasks (including prize task and live task) but some of the episodes in early series have six.
Hi David. I love your tee shirt! It's in my top 3 favorite cartoons!
Thank you!! That was my favorite of my Halloween shirts I added to the collection this year ;) "Duck Tales, a woo ooh" ;)
I don't know if coconut are actual nuts, but I do know that nuts in general are fruits.
Dammit you're muddying the waters even more! You know how much limited brain space I have. ;)
Yeah, Alex is 6,3. But Greg is 6,7 and the power imbalance throws it off.
He says he’s 6’2 but he’s 5’4, little Alex Horne~ 🎶
❤
What up Keith my man!! Hope you are doing well
