1:18 peg scrape? I love seeing these bikes ridden hard. Great video!

The suspension is next on my wish list, but I've found that replacing the stainless stock wheels and crap tires made the suspension more than adequate for tearing through the mountains and cruising around town. If I want to go fast and shake my teeth out I get on the 1198SP.

This is impressive my friend! 70hp at the rear wheel is making easy work of the competition and a testament to your riding ability.

You live 6-9K RPM, nice! Bike sounds great and does not seem to act like an old school bike. i can only remark from the days at Willow, etc here while in a P-car or other worth beast. Thanks!

Ha, thanks, but I took it out in the C group that day, those guys don't have much experience. It's not really a fast track bike because of the limited lean angle and the riding position. The wheels are forged aluminum with tubeless tires. That saved like 28 lbs of rotating, unsprung weight, that was the best performance mod. Air box replaced with cones, staintune exhaust and DP ECU and that was it at that point. Of course I dragged the exhaust and crashed later that day so it's been further modified ;)

I have this bike and had no idea it was this capable... I'm far from this skill level but it's exciting to watch! Thanks for sharing! btw, any modifications on yours? Suspension?

Ha, thanks man. It's the GT, 2010. I went to the Oz Racing five spoke forged aluminum. I can't remember exactly but I think when I switched I lost 29 lbs combined, between the new wheels and tubeless tires!
