- Here is everything in my carry on bag for a long haul flight as I'm off to work at camp in America! I hope these travel tips can help you, this is pretty much all of my essential travel items and just a few extras. CRYSTALS.
Rose Quartz - Manifests love and connection. It’s easy to feel alone or out of your element while traveling, as well as disconnected from yourself. Rose quartz helps remind me that love is everywhere, in every single being, and brings that about in my own energy. Carrying this can serve as a tangible reminder that you are always loved, unconditionally, and that you can always choose to act with unconditional love towards others too, strangers on the street, your new friends. Love is always there. I always manifest the best with this stone, and it has brought me so much abundant love.
Malachite - Fantastic for travel, as it serves as a guardian stone. Malachite is a great choice if you suffer from jet lag or fear of flying, you can hold it in your hands and feel grounded, your nerves calmed. Be sure to clear it often as Malachite will absorb a lot of energy.
Citrine - Manifesting + abundance. These are usually kept in the wallet as they can be used to bring abound financial abundance, but I use it relating to abundance in health, friends, love, good food, fun, positive experiences and memories.

I always bring my fuzzy socks. As soon as I sit down I kick off my shoes, put them in the overhead bins and put on my big socks. Instant comfort!
Yes I was just thinking today I might take bed socks!
Until you have to use the bathroom. Only hard soles shoes in there!
All your tips totally make sense. One tip I can share is bringing my own travel sheet. I use the Brave era travel sheet (available in Amazon) It's a portable travel sheet that I can use to protect myself from bed bugs and dirty sheets on hotel/hostel accommodations. It has been a life saver for me and I would recommend that every traveler has this. thanks for the tips and happy travels!

Last year on my flight from South Africa to Sydney (18ish hours) the whole flights TV screens weren't working!! Was such a godsend that I'd brought books, cards and a journal so that I had something to do.

That's never happened to me and I pRAY it never does, it must have been awful for anyone that didn't bring entertainment!!!
Were the flight staff super apologetic about it?

Ally Sheehan ooooo yay another camp video! I’m excited! I’m heading to Kenmont & Kenwood this year, it’s in Connecticut and is a boys and girls separated camp on the same property. I leave I two weeks to spend a couple days in New York before heading to camp. I can’t wait 💖

Hand sanitizer, Vaseline and mints make me feel like a brand new woman when I’m travelling 🙌🏼

My first year there were 2 other girls seated near me going off to work at camp too which was so cool. I flew out around June 11 that year so I suspect there would be loads more as it gets closer to camp time.

I always have hand sanitizer in my carry on, comes useful when they bring out food on the plane, or in the airport, or after using the bathroom - after washing your hands you still have to touch the door and I just hate that because who knows if people who go before me wash their hands :)
Yeah it's kinda terrifying to think about haha, hopefully it will do a good job and keep us healthy!
I like bookmarking my photo page of my passport with my ticket so the page is easy to access

Hi Alley! I love Jansport for travel but recently I shifted to Nomad Lane Bento Bag. What I love about it is it has a lot of compartments, has a trolley sleeve and packs like a suitcase.

@@jackpower1658 Something I always like to remind myself is that nerves and excitement feel the same in our bodies, so we just have to use our minds to decide which it is.
Like I said in the video, things like audiobooks and podcasts really help me when it comes to the flying aspect, because I can close my eyes, listen to that immersive experience and pretty much forget where I am. As for the rest of it, I think making friendships/connections/relationships with others really helps! If you go to camp, post in your camp's facebook page and chat to a few others, it will immediately put your mind at ease
@@AllySheehan Even though my travels are not till next year I will be sure to keep a close eye on your channel and watch some great content! Hopefully flying for a long period of time won't bother me too much, and music and movies should be the go too! Do you know how long you are at the camp before all the kids show up?
@@jackpower1658 Yeah we (and most camps, I believe) do a week of orientation before they arrive :) It's so much fun getting to know everyone!
If you sleep on the window seat, it’s actually colder, so Ally, just a heads up, cos u get cold on Planes. Hope this helped

You could bring glass perfume in the plane? I know most people bring plastic but I’m not sure of glass??

Mid August, and heck yeah! I always try to make full use of the J1 visa grace period :)
I bring as well a adult color book and wordsearch if my lap top dies from watching Netflix movies. I want get that map notebook. Wish incantations travel out the country. Lucky enough just get chance to go back my home state to New Jersey from Arizona usa it 4 hour flight
my helix record is 380 so looks like i have a long way to go :( also have a great time in america, im so jelly
You can get about 100 levels down in a day when you have nothing else to do haha, I have faith in you (although maybe this long flight will push me to truly sad new heights/depths)

I wanted to comment on the use of perfume on a plane. There are actually a lot of people who are allergic to perfumes, and I’m talking about getting migraines and even vomiting. Being stuck in close quarters with nowhere to get away from it is pure hell for those of us who have this problem. Please be a considerate fellow passenger and don’t use perfume when flying.

Please be mindful of other people when bringing perfume on a plane. Many people have asthma and perfume may trigger an asthma attack.
