*i try not to fully rely on my phone when i travel so i print out important details like my airbnb, etc! plus i travel alone most of the time, so that's a precautionary measure for me!*
Tristina Pham lmao stfu, some pieces of paper are absolutely NOTHING compared to the trash corporations are making. Let people live and stop being annoying.
MoorsBoors well tristina does kinda have a point. If you’re conscious about the planet then think about how much paper you use. It doesn’t sound like much but it eventually adds up.
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE AESTHETIC AND SUCH FINE DETAIL IN EVERYTHING YOU DO! thank you for doing a what’s in my carry on video i can’t wait to see your travel vlogs:))
can you pleaaase do a video talking more about your journaling!! i would love to hear about what kind of things you journal about while travelling, how to keep motivated to finish a journal etc. i love love love the way that the little snippet of your journal looked:) love you!!

Sleeping on planes tip: take a Benadryl or two. I did this on my long haul flight last year (14 hours I think) for a mission trip and I would not have slept a wink without it. Also helps if you tend to get random allergies like me. 😊 Lovely video by the way! The transitions were smooth and aesthetically pleasing
I haven't heard of anything like that, and I've been on 12 hrs flights (and a lot of shorter ones). Edit: I've googled it, it can set fire just like anything else what's battery powered, so basically alongside with phones, laptops. Also because people use it with knock off 1 dollar charging cables.
I have a portable charger that came with my Away carry-on. Away suggests removing the battery and keeping it in your personal item bag during flights instead of attached to the luggage that goes into the overhead. Same with checked luggage, in fact, airlines require the removal of the lithium battery in checked luggage, you are required to carry it into the cabin with you. If you are traveling to or throughout Asia the guidelines for lithium batteries are more strict. I did not have an issue with my battery when I flew to Italy.
An alternative to the glue stick is getting a sheet of glu dots and store them in your journal. They’re super practical ! Great video, both content-wise and visually.
For a travel sized, natural deodorant, I highly recommend the brand Native, you can get your own personalized deodorant depending on your needs or you can get a particular scent- my favorite is the yuzu and orange blossom. Hope this helped :)
Idk about anyone else but when I was on a 24 hr flight to Scotland. They kept giving us a cup of water literally every 5 to 10 minutes even if we were asleep lol...
for real this helped so much. i’m going to belize over spring break and i’m rethinking everything i’m going to pack. i love the journaling tip, def gonna be some funky fresh addictions to my travel journal!!
You can hold it so it doesn’t take up your weight limit! A lot of people don’t know that airlines allow you to go through just holding it in your hands ☺️
i don't understand why influencers that promote sustainability also promote care/of when it is the least sustainable brand since it is such a waste of packaging. buying individual bottles of the vitamins would be a lot better for the environment rather than unpackaging and throwing away a plastic wrapping every day
For sleeping on a plane I highly recommend melatonin (gummy’s or pills) and a blanket which i wear as a scarf which is also nice if you have a long layover and sleep in the airport.
Just found your channel and I'm obsessed! I'm about to travel to Europe for the first time for three weeks and the thought of packing for that long as minimally as possibly is stressing me out. Would love a video on this or even just some tips and tricks, please! Thank you!
i've made several 9+ hour flights and i completely and enthusiastically second the healthy snacks tip! i cannot eat airplane food because i'm so sensitive to airsickness. i recommend mixing foods that are water based and carb based so you don't feel too heavy or too "sloshy" as i like to say. check with your airport, but you can typically bring fresh fruits and fresh veggies for snacks!
This is super helpful! I’m going to Toronto next week for 3 days and it’s a 6 hour drive so this has really helped me being organized! Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for this video I had a vacation to go to Greece with my parents and my family and I had no clue what to put in my carry-on you kind of helped me a lot because now I know what to do it would fit in my carry-on help a lot thank you
We just got back from an Europe 13 night carry on trip. Good work on the video. We leaned a lot between pre and post trip what we would bring next time. We watched several youtube videos and most were pre trip packing. YT can use more post trip packing and advice videos. It would have help us.
This was amazing. I pack similar things, but i also have hand sanitize with me and i try and pack a change of clothes like underwear a pair of pants and a top just in case god forbid my luggage gets lost and then i have i have some change of clothes.
@@NavyGrey lucky not for me well never been overseas only outerstate, but I think it is something my parents also told me, like pack extra underwear incase of emergency kinda thing too

Hi Elena! Wonderful video you have here! For me my travel essential is my Nomad Lane Bento bag as it it very convenient to use. I can pull out my laptop, phone, passport anytime needed.

A lot of people are telling their travel stories. I’m 12, almost 13, and I’ve never been on a plane. I’ve never been further than 2 states over from my own, actually. But in 3 days I’m going on a plane for the first time, been out of the country for the first time, and been to the ocean for the first time when I go to the Turks and Caicos. I’ve been watching these types of videos for about half a month, since I found out I was going. I’m super excited.
I use Native for a whole year (& loved it) Untill I made the switch to Myro. The deoderant is still natural like Native but the packaging is designed in a way to be more eco-friendly!!
That video was great and ful with very good tips. Can you please not put the music while you talking in the next video? English is not my first language so it's already a little bit hard to understand what you're saying and the music made it even harder. Love you by the way ❤

omg I had no idea! Thank you!
Yeah but you often don’t need a regular sized deodorant especially if you’re low on space
