Long HO Train Snakes Across Layout

At a recent Sipping and Switching Society setup, I filmed my train snaking across the layout. Overland Union Pacific locomotives #8636, #2001, & #8521 pull 95 scratchbuilt rock gondolas. This train replicates a south Texas Martin Marietta rock train being hauled from quarry to distribution facility.

Your description is wrong. It says long train, that is a super long awesome train with 95 cars full of rock winding downhill through a beautiful S curve!

Ok, but how do you get so many cars to pull together so easily? I've heard that many cars is hard to keep from derailing. Do you add extra weight for example?

Hi I add extra weight to the cars, and ensure the cars roll smoothly by using new Walthers Proto or Athearn RTR wheelsets. The mainlines have broad curves and the track is kept clean.
