A beautiful video of 9 beautiful provinces in our beautiful country but it makes cycling coast to coast look way too easy ... thank you letting us follow you through all your wonderful videos showing the climbs, rain, wind, poor roads, heavy traffic, tenting, bike breakdowns and more. In short, the realities in cycling our beautiful Canada ... and by the way, you two make a great team, and without doubt it took team work.
Thanks, Steve! We do make a great team! We knew we were well matched but it became very obvious just how important that is as the ride went along. We are grateful for so much!
Good luck! I think you are brave to start so late in the year (or maybe just a lot tougher!?). I hope it goes well for you. Stay safe and enjoy each day (there is always something great even on the worst days!).
We have thoroughly enjoyed your YT series and watched them all on the big screen. Very practical info and very helpful for future planning. Surprising detour south of Steinbach MB into USA but definitely food for thought.
We wanted to avoid the Trans-Canada so we dipped south. We had thought of continuing to the Soo on the American side but chose Canada instead. Thanks for watching...it was fun knowing people were following our progress.
Shannon used a combination of the Garmin app and Google Maps. If you choose the bike filter on Google Maps it will find the trails for you. But we did a lot of cross referencing from app to app to make sure it took us the way we wanted. Sometimes we ignored them both and sometimes we definitely should have listened! LOL

Congratulations on a fantastic cross country ride. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Thanks for watching!
How did you choose your routes and find the bike paths?
Google Maps has a bike mode and you can download offline maps for remote areas without cell service
