@@scrnepz1 i think it did affect. Felt different when riding my friend z800. If not mistaken, it is harder to make a corner when it is lowered, but it will be more planted to the ground when doing a high speed highway at 180kmph. I will try changing back the kit to the original.
@@fingerscrossed2317 not sure. But i do know i feel comfortable with my bike all the way to 180kmph. Comfort speed is at 140kmph. At 200kmph, i need to put my head at the tank and my neck can only withstand for 5sec due to the wind blast.
i love the way you make a review dude! so many motovlogger review a bike without show off the beast with beautiful scene like you did. and you review the bike with objective contents not just screaming around like a kid lol
I have the 2016 Z800 and absolutely love it! I'm 5'8 and have no problem with the height of the bike. As for performance,it's unreal. I've had it up to 123 mph and it still had so much more to go. Yes there's a lot of wind, but just put yourself down to the tank and it's not that bad. Plus there's torque for days in every gear. The only mods I want are exhaust to make it louder and some lane splitter mirrors, that's it. Other than that, it's absolutely perfect.
So after so many reviews i ended up buying one, i just love it! It looks tough! It goes like a shower of sh#t the only time i notice the weight is moving it in the car park. Ive added slidders tank grips mini windshield and a delkvic oval 320mm exhaust, it sounds like a f1 car!, i ride 80km per day on the motorway, it sits so well, i dont care about the wind, the only gripe i have is the vibrations at 6,000, the seats a bit hard after 2hrs of riding but all these things are nothing when you look at what u get. Even at low speeds the bike sits upright, with only a few times the weight has caught me out on tight turns, it loves to rev but, in 3rd to 5th its still very usable, in traffic for lane spliting its still very easy to manage. I have no regrets at all. Only that i cant thrash it enough🙃😉😎 ive spoken with owners from z800's that have bought a 900/ 1000, and they all miss the z800, one guy actually bought his old 80p back!! Sooo, Thats my review.. just go buy it I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this bike
I disagree with the touring part, this bike is great for touring because it has smooth power delivery and overall smoother ride because of the inline 4, all you need is an aftermarket comfort seat and a good luggage rack and you're good to go.
Cool, I love how you review this bike. Especially because I'm from Malaysia (neighbouring country of Indonesia) and we have quite similar traffic conditions, I can expect performance in daily ride more accurately. The fact that the bike weigh 230KG kinda scares me since I've only rode a 135cc bike myself, it feels a lot lighter and nimble. I'm 140KG and 180CM obessed bastard so I hope those numbers could help me control the bike later on. HURRAY TO HIGH TORQUE BECAUSE I FOOKIN NEED IT!!!!!
Interesting dream bike, i currently have a Fz-07 and aspire to one day get the tuono but not sure if i want an inbetween bike like this.. but really i wish i had the mv agusta brutale D;
dream bike wich was discontinued, flawed model... i'd prefer a 145kg bike instead of 231kg bike.. i bet that 140kg 690 R with 690cc generate more power than this z800 , seems flawed model... if u want this.. go for new z900 i think
Thanks for this video! Im probably buying this bike at the end of next month! Going from a zx6r which was my first bike and I have been riding 18 months now and about to switch over to a naked sports and this is the one
@@jdtopv8650 because i decided i want 2 bikes so didnt want a naked sport that was just the same as a comfortable super, the mt-07 feels like a chunky dirt bike and so much fun, the plan is to get an r6 in May as well so got a good choice of bike to ride

I have it for 4 years now and i love it, not gona change the bike for a lot of years. Its my favorite bike, best looking bike. Yes i was scared a little about a weitgh but when i drived first time i see that ist not bad at all and heavy. Just changed the exhaust and its 5kg less. And the price is very good, cant say a bad think for this bike!
You should man, very goog bike, and for that money theres no better bike. Very good for town riding, very torque bike, all my frend cant bealive how good low end torque this bike have, and it have good gas consumption. Its a fast bike and god sound bike, i have Mivv Gp exhaust. Wherever i parked bike people stop to look and say that look sick, even 4 years later and with the new bikes and more expensive bike.
thanks for the review man..gonna buy this bike, but havent sure about it yet.. after watching ur vid.. damn, im gonna buy this bike for sure man..peace!!
Good vid, I'm 5.8" and had to get it lowered, found the seat super comfortable for all day rides, heavy as hell though, I'm quite light (50kg) so any slow moves and turns are scary as hell
ah, its quite easy when you are hooking into corners at 100kph, but seriously, parking it is a bitch, it has a turn circle of a truck, so the usual, pull up and reverse in maneuver takes a few goes, those I ride with are used to having to wait for a while till I can get it in hahaha....had mine from new since November 2014 and have done 34000k on it
Haha you are right about both parking and the turn circle. both are quite annoying but still definitely a worthy bike to own. you must do quite a lot of riding to do 34k in just three years. i am guessing you are residing in Australia or America as they are high mileage countries
In November it will be 3 years, and live in South Australia, to me, there is no point owning a bike if its going to sit in the garage lol, the abs works great on the Z800, had to use it a few times, I ride every single day...unless I am in hospital, it takes something pretty drastic to happen to keep me off the bike lol
Woman on 2 Wheels motovlog I’m the same height and around the same weight at you and looking to get this bike were you about to handle it at its stock height or was it only manageable when you put on the lowering kit
The Z900 is amazing if you have the money but this is a nice budget option. It's heavy because it's based on the old ZX-7R which wasn't exactly the lightest sportsbike, for the new Z900 they downsized the Z1000 engine and used a new trellis frame.
i just got this same bike today!!!! i love it!!!!, and yes clutch wears your hand out quick, idk why. also im not a fan on the back breaks. i may change my pads out. idk, bought it BRAND new. so may just need to break it in!! cheers!
i do prefer choose Z800, because the specs and the price is reasonable, i know the weight This bike is so heavy, but it's good for maneuver or do a wheelie. in Indonesia it self, so easy to find Kawasaki's Services especially in Depok-Jakarta. so, if you guys want naked bike, with reasonable price, good at handling for maneuver or wheelie, has 4 cyl and 806cc, i recommend to buy this bike. (I'm not the Kawasaki's sales or the promotor)
danieldonjohn i think you should learn wheelie using 125-250cc first for safety reason. i was also affraid to using big bike like this one for do maneuver. so my limit for do that thing is about 125-250cc, and i think that's enough for me.
danieldonjohn and yeah this is the tips for ya. very important tips. So pick a large, empty parking lot, start riding in 1st to about 4k-5k, quick release of the throttle, and then (timing is "everything" here) just as quickly add back the throttle while pulling firmly on the handle bars (kind of like trying to do a wheelie on a bicycle by pulling the front end up). Initially my arms were pretty sore from all that pulling and no results, as i was out of sync with the throttle (you need to pull the bars at the "exact" time you're adding back the throttle. This is where practice is crucial).
i already know how to wheelie on a 150/250/350 dirtbike but never tried it on a proper sportbike before. im just scared of whiskey throttling because of too much power haha
I went from a light 1000cc sportbike (R1) to this, because i needed a more upright bike because of the classic bad back issue! Anyway, the bike is in specs heavy. BUT it is weightless once you sit on it. - beautiful bike and has just the right amount of power to be a cruiser and at the same time go fast when you need to. xD
Just got this bike the engine is so smooth Idk if it’s because it’s an 4 cylinder but before this bike I had the Kawasaki er6n and you can’t compare these bikes like damm
I was going to get a Z800 but here in the US they are now offering the Z900. Had to go with that one. Its got more power and is even lighter than the 800 thanks to a new trellis frame.

hey daniel, i noticed your videos have improved a lot since your review on the cbr 250 rr... and nice intro btw. keep up the good work, oh and it would be nice if you make a video of most reasonable sportsbike in indonesia, cs many bikes arent really made for traffic condition in here. that would be interesting.
hi Daniel, just wonder what kind of camera kit you were filming for this video. Its footage looks so good; especially when you jerk it up a lot but it doesn't have much blur due to wind and engine vibrating. By the way, your review on the bike is so interesting [thumb up] and keep up with your work :) cheers mate
we just got this bike in the states and then they discontinued it. i may have the only one in ohio lol. i love this bike. very fast and capable. it will keep up with sport bikes and harleys will get left behind. good to ride 1 up too. just be carefull about 5000 rpms this bike rips. it is not a beginners bike. but ohh so fun to ride
david C. im well aware of the reason they discontinued the z800 and z1000 is for the z900. here in the states the bike was only available for 6 months before they discontinued it. it took me 2 months to find one. i find it real bad PR by Kawasaki when they offer a new bike then discontinue it in the same year. why even release it? i feel a little insulted that now there is almost no aftermarket stuff for this bike here no company is going to make stuff for a bike very few have and was a very limited release. should have stayed honda
I bought this bike brand new april 2016 and i sold it september 2016 i made 8000km. I sold it because bike was waaaay to boooring to me :) Driving more than 140km/h is impossible without extra PUIG front shield, max speed 230km/h, perfect bike for big cites but not so good on long distance, seat is like stone, and quality is poor comparing to BMW, but this is cheapest 800cc bike on market :)

thanks bud
very nice review bro 😀you r too good..want to watch more video pls uplod..🤗
Love z800 the Megatron face ...Decepticon decendant
hey daniel, i noticed your videos have improved a lot since your review on the cbr 250 rr... and nice intro btw. keep up the good work, oh and it would be nice if you make a video of most reasonable sportsbike in indonesia, cs many bikes arent really made for traffic condition in here. that would be interesting.
do more suburbs ride dude.. I love the scenery!
sure thing!
I like your reviews.
Hi from India
nice to hear some A.C.A.B tunes while i ride that bike.
hi Daniel, just wonder what kind of camera kit you were filming for this video. Its footage looks so good; especially when you jerk it up a lot but it doesn't have much blur due to wind and engine vibrating.
By the way, your review on the bike is so interesting [thumb up] and keep up with your work :) cheers mate
Addy Yang gopro hero 4 black and Sony alpha a6300
danieldonjohn Did you do any color grading on the Go Pro POV?
yes I did.
Nice work brother
Fucking loves the cinematics shots ! Thumbs UP!!
thanks for complete review
8 hours takes you a long way. So I guess this bike is great for touring! :D
i love the z800 every since i first saw it. but its a big bike for bali, im a small guy 400cc is probably more fun.
we just got this bike in the states and then they discontinued it. i may have the only one in ohio lol. i love this bike. very fast and capable. it will keep up with sport bikes and harleys will get left behind. good to ride 1 up too. just be carefull about 5000 rpms this bike rips. it is not a beginners bike. but ohh so fun to ride
Matthew Loga maybe because of Z900 they discontinue the z800
david C. im well aware of the reason they discontinued the z800 and z1000 is for the z900. here in the states the bike was only available for 6 months before they discontinued it. it took me 2 months to find one. i find it real bad PR by Kawasaki when they offer a new bike then discontinue it in the same year. why even release it? i feel a little insulted that now there is almost no aftermarket stuff for this bike here no company is going to make stuff for a bike very few have and was a very limited release. should have stayed honda
lol harleys will get left behind by pretty much anything. My electric scooter could probably leave harleys in the dust.
I bought this bike brand new april 2016 and i sold it september 2016 i made 8000km. I sold it because bike was waaaay to boooring to me :) Driving more than 140km/h is impossible without extra PUIG front shield, max speed 230km/h, perfect bike for big cites but not so good on long distance, seat is like stone, and quality is poor comparing to BMW, but this is cheapest 800cc bike on market :)
bmw its crap
One of the finest quality lot better than a bmw
@@DibyarupRoy i used to have 2 bmw cars....problems all the time. i dont think they are superior gods ..Japanese do good and reliable vehicles.
@Criticsb ahhaha i dont say bmws are bad ,i used to have an old bmw, a 1980 r65...also i used to have a triumph and a 1100 gixxer ….all of them in different stages of my life. people are wrong thinking that japanese bikes are inferior to europeans,,they are not inferior .
what cc bike should I get after having experienced a 125cc 5 speed heavy cruiser? nc review, don't want to touch something that gnarly tho.
glenn maquiran what sort of bike do you want? a street? sport? or another cruiser

'Hurts your wrist a little' LOOOOOOOOL
Hi what's your average mpg on this thing?
I sold my bike I totally regret it now. Ima have to scoop up another soon if any of you guys have any suggestions hit me up I kinda want something above 600cc in the sport bike format.
OMG BRO I subscrib mostly for those intro's
I really like this bike, it looks really awesome. I would have to buy a lowering kit cause Im only 5,7 which is ok cause the lowering kit lowers the height so that makes it 809mm. Thank the lord for the lowering kits!
Dude, please tell me where you got your Monster jacket😍
knalpot terbaik yang merk itu ya om? saya lagi gamang nih
