  • Owner/innkeepers Matt and Kristi Losquadro share a few of the reasons to stay at the Saltair Inn, a masterfully renovated and updated 1887 waterfront "cottage" located in downtown Bar Harbor's West Street Historic District. From here, hikers can walk and bicyclists can pedal into Acadia National Park. Even better, this lovely inn is open year round, except for holidays and school vacation periods, although it reduces the days of operation. Great getaway anytime of the year.

I have visited the Saltair Inn many times over the years and it just keeps getting better. I have been in all four seasons and there is always so much to see and enjoy. The rooms are all comfy and inviting, not to mention the delicious breakfasts to die for.
You cannot find more helpful, inviting, and knowledgeable Inn keepers/hosts then Matt and Kristi. I am so looking forward to my stay this November.

Our first time to stay in a B&B and we were very happy we stayed with Matt & Kristy. They made us feel very welcome. They are a great team and breakfast each morning was amazing. They are absolutely in the best location in Bar Harbor. Very peaceful lat The Saltair with perfect access to anything you might want to do.

We have stayed many times in several different rooms (you can't go wrong with any of their rooms) with Matt and Kristi at the Saltair Inn. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and the views are wonderful. We love the walkability of the inn - no searching for parking spaces downtown. Matt and Kristi are interesting and knowledgeable to chat with and make a great team. Acadia is always a great place to visit - regardless of the season or the weather there are so many things to do.
