    That exhaust needs ceramic/zirconium or wrapping , surely that would save tons of heat soak back into the heads and push rods ? Love the build up

  • @johnsnowdon2939
    @johnsnowdon2939 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know your motor is heavily modified.... but it would be interesting to know just how strangled the M30/69 is in K-jetronic form, compared to an identical setup with a modern multi-point injection, map and wasted spark setup... as well as seeing just how much more efficient they could be (I think Porsche listed them originally at 18mpg or something equally shocking). The problem is everyone who I have seen do an EFI conversion also does a whole load of other upgrades at the same time, for obvious reasons!
    I know I'll never do it, but having my own 964T in standard fuelling form with only the WUR to alter (and virtually no-one in the UK willing to touch them), it would be interesting to know how much an EFI conversion would cost, and what the payback would be (performance, as well as fuel economy improvements)... the 964 really is strangled as standard.

    Any reason not to thermal coat the exhaust system?

    • @driftworks
