    The 'high' of the dopamine is much stronger than any amount of reasoning. Once in a limerence state, said person will most likely remain there and as a result destroy [their] own relationship/marriage. If you are fortunate to recognize this situation, walk away and let them burn the bridge you used to have together. Save yourself. Great tutorial Fenna, Cheers! 😊

    Hi Fenna I guess my story is like many others- I left my wife of fifteen years for my LO ( I did not dislike my wife but I read some where that limerence is like a thousand white hot suns burning right into your soul- and boy was it ever) anyhow my LO dumped me five years later. So here's a cautionary tale- be careful what you wish for or you may end up all by your self (like me) staring at the four walls wondering how you screwed up your life so miserably

      I am sorry it happened to you user. I got lucky that I found some good podcasts that prevented me to leave but I am sometimes wondering or should I say let my mind wondering how it would have been if I hadn’t decided to stay and work on my family. Our brain always wonder how the other side would have been. I wish you to recover. Fenna’s Podcast are so well done that they helped me a Lot

    I liked listening to the letters but it sounds very painful for those writing in 😕 By the way, Fenna, you should let your cat pop in and say hello to us 😊 Special guest haha

    Having your spouse in limerence is awful. My wife pretty much gave away her relationship with our two sons for an alcoholic. She completely rewrote our whole history. She became interested in things she never was interested in before, even things she hated before. She was completely cold to me, but that wasnt near as bad as watching her turn cold to our sons.
    Everything for about 2 years plus was all about this guy. And even after it was over it took about 8 months to even get to the point when she realized she hurt our children. Our oldest has pretty much cut ties with her, and its one of the saddest things in my life. Our marriage wasnt perfect, and god knows i wasnt a perfect husband but i tried. I let her go and she pretty much has ruined her life. I'll always care for her because of our sons, but she is really all alone now. Just so sad.

      Thank you for sharing this, I get a lot of simular stories where people leave / abandon their kids for LO and even after they come out of the fog the relationship will always be damaged.
      Good luck to you!

    Thanks so so much Fenna these videos are really educative and helpful for people in such situations. I noticed though that many videos focus on the partners of limerents. Are there videos to help lemerents overcome their challenges??? Especially if they are trying to recover and save a marriage they are in but they are struggling to move on from their limerents objects??

    • @followingfenna
      @followingfenna  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thank you okumu , most of my video's are for people in limerence. Whether they are married or not, the advice is the same for married and single limerents. So have a stroll in my other limerent video's if you want and thank you for taking the time to comment.

    My husband has had online limerance with, one of those scantily clad women … in the past year (according to him) but, there is one that he can’t seem to let go of. He claims to no longer be in contact with he any longer but, I know he is 🙄
    He has sent her money so she can buy dresses “for her fans” too

    My wife is in her third affair with her limerent object. She always talked of rumination of him and one Memory triggered this out of control fast pace affair after 12 years of marriage. She is always sneaking to talk to him, he sends her a hoodie, and everyone says he's a trash human"

    Omg,my wife’s main LO,was another musician like me,and in between being dumped,by him,she was even more in limerence with a gay man,drag queen,put him on a pedestal too,she was looking at both these guys in succession to enhance HER singing career,He said she wasn’t good enough,to risk his reputation,but she’s led to believe he thinks she’s great.both guys have taken advantage of her limerent feelings for them,she’s currently single,found a third person to enhance her career,not sure how she feels about the original guy she actually slept with,and she doesn’t seem to be out with her gay drinking smoking buddy,she would drink drive,but wouldn’t let her gay pal drive drunk,she dropped him off home first,before running the gauntlet 12 miles to ours,often 20 minutes after curfew during the covid restrictions,risking her licence and or prison

    Hi. My wife left me for a women. She never before expressed interest in the same sex and even had told me in the past the thought of a gay relationship repulsed her. I would love to hear any updated opinions you have on heterosexual marriages ending for a same sex affair. Thanks!

      I think there is not a lot of differences between heteo or same sex affairs.
