@@GuyKesTV cheers for the reply I'm so confused with this one as I can't see it in person but the medium on paper is bigger than my large voodoo Nakisi ?
@ the thing that throws it out is the quite low top tube so I can get enough seatpost out on a large. Plus the shorter stem and more compact bars than most bikes. I normally ride medium but I liked the extra frame length and stability of the large on this bike.
It's weird seeing all the stuff that's been on hardtail mtbs for years suddenly becoming the latest thing. Not saying it's bad just weird. Thinking I may have to swap my Merida Big NINE hardtail for a Merida Silex 200. It looks hot in the teal colour.
It's funny isn't it. I don't know whether the designers genuinely think they're onto something new or they just realise that gravel is kind of where we were with MTB in the early 90s so similar solutions are effective again.
Nice tyres too!
@@ShelleysCortina yep, decent all rounders in a decent size
Just over £2k?? That groupset and fork is almost worth that! 😳
Yup, £2100 at the moment
You can get BC discount on top of that as well think it's like 8% currently.
@@zedddddful really? Sorry I didn't know that as it's been a while since I had a BC membership.
@@GuyKesTV I've only really got it for the insurance but I've just checked the membership rewards thing and it's actually 10% so even better.
The site information regarding size seems odd, Im 183cm tall and it recommended me a medium, would you say thats accurate
I’m 180 and the large fitted me well so I’d definitely suggest the same for you
