What a beautiful thing to see, when Lucy saw her mom again. Theyre inseparable now. If you want them to be adopted, PLEASE make sure theyre adopted together. Lucy needs her mom. Mom will get happier when she gets used to her new home. All the smells are different and she lived out in the street longer than Lucy . She'll be fine soon . Hope they stayed together. The little white dog reminded me of my rescue. These rescues actually love being outside...I made a point of letting her to continue run with street dogs, run in fields, explore mountains etc. So she has the best of both worlds now. A happy dog is a happy owner.

The fact that you went back to rescue that poor mom is so profound! What a positive difference you have made in their lives just by getting them off the street and bringing them back together!

That is so beautiful reminds me of my little maltise withixterrei that didnt survive a dog atack but my dog knew he was loved he got to go on walks and bike rides and even to macdonalds once in a while thank you for sharing my little guy looked just like thease dogs and my dog would cruel up to me at night with his blankets

The baby smelled her mommy and got excited before the door was opened.I think the mother didn't feel good for a few days from exhaustion and heartworm and wasn't able to enjoy the reunion. She began to get better and warmed up to her baby's antics. PLEASE don't separate them , no matter what !

Mom has had a few traumas since she saw her baby. Plus, heartworms are depleting her energy. My heart was racing in anticipation of the reunion. The baby was jazzed but mom needs a little rest, bless her! You guys don't just talk about saving animals - you DO it!
They are so happy to be together but the mama is clearly exhausted. I am so happy they are getting the care and attention that they need. ❤
I was thinking the same. She looked so weary. Hopefully its a case of she knows she can be tired for a bit as she realises she isn’t the one having to go find them both food. Fingers crossed she will relax for a bit, get well and soon be running around. She acted at the beginning like she had been a pet. The way she ran over for the food and immediately sat etc Bless them both.
Susie, the mom, has Heartworms. Heart worms, cause extreme fatigue due to stress on the heart.
I do hope she makes it to heartworm treatment well and that we get an update.

Heartworms are horrific. Treatment requires the pup to be calm throughout the recovery, exhaustion is present especially if there is pulmonary issue.
