Thank you for this guide. It still took me quite a while to get it right since my Keith is actually leveled up fully, and my Clotheline Pole is fully leveled up as well. So had to reroll my Pole to have no ATK at all and had to respec Thor to be weaker since he had all slots filled and was doing too much damage. After nerfing my damage, was able to clear it following your guide, with some minor deviations to Thor's attacks.
Okay, note to anyone who wants to try this: take your reaper axe off of Varna, it'll mess up the HP thresholds and you won't be able to summon Thor on turn 11 bc you didn't stun the wolf on turn 9
it looks simple.. it tool me hours to figure it out...for those over kill like me.. boss 8 wolf buffs, when it's 0 he will be stuned. every AOE -1 including from thor's hammer thunder(bring the AOE 3 heroes as as backup, so you're sure to stun him every turn) boss retreats under hp 80%,60%,40% the last 40% stay upper right corner and out of his aoe, thor ready to summon, egg' 3c in case you need TP
It took a few times for me to get this just right. I used Lvl 10 feather dusters on Keith and Varna with their wind skill. I had to upgrade my Egbert slightly to get the damage just right
You can also use Sumire (from Sakura collab) instead. Give her flyng archers and TS as accessory and she can act exactly as Keith (i used the skill that gave her +3 move once, so bring it on)
I'm not sure if they changed the boss' stats, or if I'm just triggered by RNG but it seems your Thor hits with a critical when he first uses the hammer, which hits for 2% more than what I hit him with and it messes up the rest of the run. Unfortunately I can only make sure of it around turn 15 when I can't put the boss below 40%. Which definitely wastes a ton of time... I'm guessing I'll try a couple of more times. Unless I'm missing something :)
So I tried to replicate this strategy but got the boss to the last stage 1 turn early, with 0 covenant energy. So I tried to delay until Thor was back up, but after 3 turns the boss just sat down and I got the victory screen? lol. So apparently you don't even need to kill him.

Didn't work for me because all my characters deal different amounts of damage, thus messing up the run around turn 8.

insane this stage, I couldn't follow the video in details but I finished 2 turns earliers and with 3 mores heroes
I had an issue where my R and SR units were too powerful, so I had to nerf them, it was still pretty close. Thanks though, finally made it.

The critical of Thor is the only RNG in this stage. You must try to maintain boss HP
