Ok can someone show a fucking video from start to finish with the head unit not already loosened. This shit is dumb. I feel like I'm gonna break it if I use to much force.
@2eroumgme753 it takes some courage to pry enough along the bottom to get it started and work around the bezel. those nylon panel removal tools can help a lot. they're pretty cheap from harbor freight. once you get a couple of the tabs pulled out it gets easier. I just don't wanna see anyone ruin their ducts or bezel prying too hard.
Don't believe you truly can, the model was built in 2012, so the screen just deals with a sensitivity problem overall as it ages. I bought my Veloster used about 3 months ago, and one of the first things I did was replace the radio head unit with a bigger ipad styled screen. Consider that in 2012, most makes and models did not have any touch screens.
If you don't have a P2 screwdriver itself you can use a P2 screwdriver bit from a drill kit and use a 1/4" socket and ratchet with extension. I've done that myself before.

I know right. I'm so pissed. I've been trying to take mine out for an hour
@2eroumgme753 the biggest thing are the damn screws that if you use the wrong driver you run the risk of stripping them out
@@CrowtownAuto I'd love to at least get to that part

Good video thank you for showing me how to remove the trim piece around the stereo very helpful
Das geht nicht einfach ab, VORSiICHT !!!!
Richtig. Seien Sie vorsichtig bei der Randverkleidung
I'm pretty sure they put a spot of glue on those screws that's why they're so hard to get out
Very good video. Thank you
Nice and good video ...... Can you make new video how to repair touch screen ? Thanks

Those screws are a pain in the neck. I'm still trying to figure out how to get them out.

@CrowtownAuto is it easy to replace the screws if u strip any of them?
whew if you mean round out the screw head, I couldn't really say. that's why it's important to use the correct size to prevent that from happening.
@CrowtownAuto I couldn't get them out with a screwdriver or Rachet so I carefully used a drill with a p2 bit and they all came out safely
