I had a 4 wheel drive service light show up. Was told a 'band aid' fix was to remove the 20 amp fuse?.Did'nt want to be driving 100 kils an hour and then have my gears shift into 2 any of the other drives !( SO my 4 wheel drive was disabled,,What now ? with my need to go into 4 wheel when needed ??

Thanks for this video, I am hoping that this is not the problem. After jumping, the battery, because I found out that my daughter always stepped on brake to start my 2011 Jeep Compass. But I got a code P161B, which mentioned something about this when I looked it up. Like you are talking about on this video. I heard that I might have to disconnect the battery and reconnect after 5 minutes. And maybe the check engine light will go off, and the problem might be solved. What do you think?
