- Why Retail Investors Lose Money in Stocks is one of the most frequently asked queries. Not many investors know that almost 90% people lose money in stocks. Rest 10% gain at the cost of 90%. Have you ever heard big investors, ace investors or financial institutions losing money in the stocks?
One of the most reason why retail investors lose money in stocks is that they invest without any preparation or homework. Normally, the new investors are at disadvantage in the stock market because of late entry compared to seasoned investors.
Importantly, stock investment is not an organized investment and most of the retail investors invest based on the recommendations of friends and family members.
Lastly, there is a misconception in the mind of an investor that it is very easy to make money in the stock market but unfortunately, the fact is far from reality.

iska matlab hai kitna bhi fundamental analysis karo, technical analysis karo kuch ukhad nahi sakte hum..sab bade player ka game hai...wo jab chahe stock ko upar le ja sakate our niche la sakte hai....wo to bus hamara wait karte hai ..kab ayega bakra katne keliye...what i suggest you to don't invest in future and option. Select good stock which are fundamentally strong and hold it for 1-2 month this is the only way we can generate profit from the share market....

My understanding, No, the stock market and investing in general is not a zero sum game. Some types of trades are zero sum because of the nature of the trade.
But someone isn't necessarily losing when you gain in the sale of a stock or other security.
Stock market is not generating any profit for investors. Someone is definitely losing money in case of gain for another person. The loser may or not be seller of a stock.
