Robin Williams dying right before the funniest and craziest 10 years in American politics. He would have had a FIELD DAY with the last decade of material. 😊
Absolutely but he wanted to be in control before he was no longer to be in control and did not want to hurt loved ones. Look up what he had. Would have been different to control doing what he loved.
Robin Williams was way more intelligent than the media ever gave him credit for and we all know why. He called the congress and presidency golem and night of the living dead. He’s still right.
@@roxane7432 Lincoln, JFK, MLK, Jesus, Gandhi, Medgar Evers, Malcom X, Lennon... They all said "Try to live together peacefully". BANG! Right in the head. Apparently we aren't ready for that

He is great. But there also were Richard Pryor, Mitch Hedberg, Ralphie May, Bill Hicks and a couple others. But I understand, you Americans always have to have your #1...😅
You understand HOW MUCH the person is appreciated by reading all these comments. Truly amazing, outstanding personality, complete character, vibrant and unforgettable. As for many others - movies with you were putting always something good into my childish head, showing examples of deep philosophical thinking (what I realised only with time, of course), caring of others and being able to defend the right point no matter what. I watched it many times, but still he’s crackin’ my belly up with his jokes and manner of speaking. We are missing you…
Humanity is diminished by his absence. A man of remarkable talent, humour and love... I can't help wonder what dark paths his mind wandered down, what inner war, what soul wrenching struggles he fought against. I cried when he went away - and until today I haven't watched a single thing he'd starred in. Thank you, Robin. You made me laugh, cry and look at things from a different perspective. I wish you hadn't departed the way you did - leaving your family behind - but I guess all wars must come to an end and sadly, for those of us who loved you, you didn't win. Rest in Peace and all the best to your family.

Robin originated the phrase about making congress wear their donors like nascar jackets. That became a meme on social media years later. Give credit where it’s due
Not sure where I picked it up at. I used it, "all politricksians should have to wear jumpsuit like NASCAR with all their sponsors patches for everyone to see", on stage doing stand up in 1997. There were a few that had said they should have to have all their sponsors on the banners behind them and on their tour busses. Someone said it should be listed when they're doing debate. "Sponsors on their sleeves" was another. We're generations down the line and variations probably existed in city bars back to 1920s, definitely since 1940s-50s. As a former stage comedian and current podcast comedian, we all take life experiences and observations for material. Anyone could see the NASCAR patches as logical, and funny, ridiculosity.
