- ðĻðī PART TWO: The Darien Gap is known as the world's most dangerous jungle. I had heard of the Darien many years ago through National Geographic and it had both fascinated and intimidated me. I knew one day I would have to visit...
When the word Darien started appearing in the news in recent years by way of the migrant crises I decided that now was the time to explore it for myself. And so myself and my good friend âŠ@TimmyKarter⎠headed north from Medellin in search of a way across the infamous jungle, avoiding cartel and bandits, injury and tropical diseases, on an adventure with migrants from all over the world where national laws don't apply. Only the laws of the jungle.
Join us as we enter...the Darien.

As a mother of a toddler, seeing those babies being carried through it all made me feel so foolish for complaining about carrying my child up 1 flight of stairs. Itâs a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions and also an environmental disaster. Seeing the natural beauty of the jungle destroyed is also heartbreaking.
Understandable that america can not take everyone in. Though, a lot of the issues do stem from america. Like the guy said. Sanctions under maduro hit venezuela currency hard. Now what has venezuela ever done to us. That they deserved to get sanctions put on them? Last time i checked. The sanction came because we didnt agree with an election. Which is silliest reason to put economic sanctions on a country. Though, i am just saying. It is a sad reality. Though, america is a huge reason for all of this, with their 2nd amendment and economic sanctions on these countries. Its too bad america politicians cant see that their policies are the number 1 cause of mass migration.

That being said, please do the adventuring somewhere safer from now, absolutely no content is worth drying for, please be safe
I don't think he did it for "the content" more so like his friend Timmy. If you remember, he just approached a random guy who looked european (happend to be from Greece) and said "do u wanna come with me crossing the Darien?" and he just agreed. Lol.
I mean I guess that's how you make friends abroad, but I think it's more of a "let's do this insane thing." just for the experience of it. I know I've been like that before and my father was like that when he was younger too.
Even though he just happens to film stuff, I think he's the type of person who would've done that regardless of the camera or not. Judging how fearless he really is.
Dont say that I don't want boring adventurising
@@siegpastahe obviously knew Timmy
dude, he knew Timmy beforehand, you're so innocent@@siegpasta
I disagree, this content is worth it for our entertainment .
I love that your Greece buddy came along with you. What a pair of legends.
B&B, you guys get every bit of the respect I have to give after 44 years of living. I have watched TH-camrs travel to many of the most dangerous places on earth. Places where just having fair skin alone can get you harassed, assaulted, detained, questioned, locked up, robbed, and even murdered. Had you made this trip alone and not had the company of a fluent Spanish speaker, I donât think you would have made it. At the least it would have increased the difficulty of the trip by 10, at a minimum. It shocks me how many women with young children in tow attempt to make this trip. God has to have his hand on them the entire way. I donât know how much you made off doing this trip, if anything at all. You should have regardless!! The courage to undertake this journey is monumental!! Thank you for sharing this and I am glad you and your partner made it in one piece!!
This documentary was a masterpiece. I feel grateful for whatever situation I find myself in.
This should be nominated for a journalism award. This is the story we need to be seeing and this is what true journalism should be, showing the story with no spin. Modern news and journalism is a sham; written from the comfort of their own homes and green rooms regurgitating their aligned partyâs agenda.
Bald and bankrupt you are a brave man, thank you for sharing this journey with the world.
Ben I dont know what to say mate, you have an ability to bring a comedic yet stills serious view on any topic, but hanndling this mate is somehting else, I cant even imagine what you saw and experience and thank you immensely for sharing a small part of it
Much love and strength to all that need it. Great work Mr Bald.
Seeing Mr Bald crying was touching.
Considering heâs travelled everywhere, this experience must have been the strongest of all.
He didnât cry.
@@davidbush131 yes he cried , any human would cry in this kind of situations and Bald showed he has a big heart

He certainly made me vomit. I am livid at the takeover of the West.
Yes, odd to see him emotional.
Tim is your greatest companion by a country mile. What a trooper.
I love the guy as well, he's so interesting and has talent, I hope after this series we see him again a few times at least
@@Guevon_Pajaro Iâve been watching a lot of Tims videos prior to this. Glad to see them collaborating.
â@PESGmanag what is his channels name ? Would love to watch his videos

Good work Bald ! Thank you for sharing this
Awesome. I agree this video should be nominated for an award, you are one of the bravest people I've come across in my life. Your channel is priceless.
Regards Rob
for some reason the story of the guy from angola stuck in the prison camp hit me the most. he lost everyone he loved and stuck in a foreign hell hole with nothing. what a tragedy.
He should have stayed in his country
@@HypervoxelRBXeasy for you to say while you are sitting in your western apartment with water, electricity, a shower, a job, etc. Plus very inappropriate to say something like that after someone lost everythingâĶif you have a car accident, I hope nobody tells you, that you could have taken the busâĶ
@@Martina51761 Yes I am an inheritor of a superior civilization. If someone wanted to enter a country, they should do it LEGALLY
â@Stickmaster1019 careful what you say. You could end up with nothing like that man
Back in the days they captured slaves and hauled them on horrible ships journeys to the US to became slaves. Nowadays they people make the journey themselves just to became slaves in a terrible western civilization that is just broken to its courseâĶ all just tricked into something by a government that just wants to use them to hold on to power
5 days through the Darien Gap where anything couldâve happened without anyone knowing, and 7 days in a horrid Panamanian detainment camp later, somehow Bald continues to manage doing things that I donât think weâll ever see other TH-camrs doing
This guy is next level. A modern day world explorer. A pure traveller.
Thank you for what you do. I only started to watch your videos a few days ago but wow! ... amazing documentaries. This one... heart wrenching... the people... the families... that must do this to try and have a future.. a life. Heartbreaking... especially the young children.
I've never seen this man so distraught and emotional before, you can tell the ordeals he has seen on that journey. Big props to him for taking the risk. Keep up the good work!!!
This goes so much beyond any typical youtube content and becomes journalism at its purest form. The fact that you both have risked your lives to show us this shocking reality of the caminantes is something I will be forever grateful for being made aware about, and something I will never forget. The bond you've created with these lovely souls are so clearly shown in the end of this video. I shed a few tears with you in the end there, Bald. It feels nice to see you show some emotions in this. My upmost respect to the you Benjamin, to Timmy and of course every single one of the caminantes and their families, from the cold northern mountain tops of Europe I just want to say buena suerte en el futuro para todos ustedes!
You guys are legends for doing this.
This is so heartbreaking!
God bless these people
Thank you for this documentary!
