Thank you, @Ben! I often prefer closing my eyes to really absorb the message or teaching rather than staying glued to the screen, and you do an excellent job of explaining everything clearly.

The ego is super tricky. Even just trying to be aware of it, we can pat ourselves on the back when we think we've done a good job of being aware and it has won again! Having said that, I agree that meditation is a wonderful tool to bring us into balance and expose the thoughts that we take as us, but really are not. Thank you, Ben.

Thinking is the ego, feeling is from Spirit... When we think, we are using the ego, that is when programming kicks in...

Thank you Ben for another selfreflection 😀
Ego is rigid and damaging you
It limits you to very few well known options in your life, and basically stuck in the matrix
If you just switch it off, you'll be engulfed by stupidity in the daily life
    So balance means:
    Live with your ego,
    But never trust it
No need to demonstrate your ego faithfully outside
But having the faith in your social presence
Just be there in the real world casting the shadow of ego, but never trust it, never be one with it
Know that it is your dress to show your colours amongst strangers, for them to recognize and accept you.
    But that's all about it
The ego is not a sin
The ego is our way to be outside there among others
And to find a realization in our life path
    Motivation for master the ego:
Once achieving full awareness of it
It will not be of any burden
It will be just primitive shadow around you
    To maintain the balance socially:
Never fall in the temptation of mirror the others comparing your superiority
Consuming the full glory as such will instantly bridge all your energy into reality of the present glory.
Consuming all potency into social orgasm. leaving you depleted and alone in the emptiness.
Moreover, later on it will be difficult for you to find again the path of subtle light that previously lit the whole for you.
Nevertheless you should not be guilty
Falling into your temptation is your path of orientation in the physical world towards your realization.
How to know when you have mastered you ego?
In such transformation you won't need even the shadow of your ego anymore
Persistent dwelling into higher awareness would bring a strange brilliance in you eyes, making everyone around you accepting you
It will become your charisma, with no words needed
Just your presence amongst the others will instantly attract everyone around you
Everyone will tend to love you
    Somehow unexplainably for them
They will feel in their gut that they want you in their circle
Because when being around you they cherish light in their lost and hopeless physical life
    Ego is like the sex
When you blindly suppress and alienate it
It will become the infinite opposed you
Waiting to merge once again as male and female into one
    The way celibacy is achieved
Is the same way your ego disappears
You should not suppress, but experience in absolute
only then you'll mature enough to be aware of their presence as perfectly existing on their own
Because you don't consume with ego,
But experience these all with bliss being in coexistence
    Thank you Ben, 😀
Just seeing the thumbnail with your smile there is enough inspiration for self reflection

I’m continually checking myself for ego…it’s almost a compulsion. I may be about to say something to someone, but internally decide that I’m only saying it so the other person thinks I’m (smart, talented, high-class, rich, pious, lucky, or whatever it may be). So I don’t speak.
It leaks into every part of my life…what I say, do, how I dress, how I decorate my home, what I buy…. I feel I’m always struggling for control of ego, and pulling myself back sharply into humility. It takes up a lot of my internal dialog. I’m not sure if this is normal.

Its very strange that I've known these things (and have lived without a real ego) but never actually learned it anywhere in this lifetime..hmmm. This is what leads me to believe that past lives are actually REAL. Thank u, thank u, thank u😽.Have a blessed day😇

No doubt about past lives being real. Some people are born remembering them with detail, even in between lives as spirit as well. There are videos about children talking about it. Most people dont remember because Earth's reality is too dense and cant easily make a strong connection to the soul through the veil of forgetfulness, but that's been changing with Earth's ascencion.

These videos are always informative. I have been on my spiritual journey the last two years and while I understand the ego sometimes it's tricky for example...I have a YT channel and I have been wanting to take my content to the next level by purchasing a camera but in order to do that I would have use savings money and I'm conflicted on rather it's the right thing to do. I feel like I have great relationship money but then sometimes I overthink it even though it can be beneficial. Any thoughts?

Thanks. But I was hoping you would also give us a method for temporarily situations; like short-circuiting the ego from sabotaging your spiritual practices. Most specifically, eliminating/stopping the mind chatter it purposely produces to interrupt a mediation session. For instance, would a good tactic be to address it directly and command it to stop, or is there some other sublime method that can be used to get it to be better behaved? Or is all we can do in such a situation is to be aware of what is doing and just ignore it as much as possible?

Great video! I am having some trouble equating the ego with the body itself, however...this is because the body seeks homeostasis at all times and does its very best to keep a balance despite all that we do to it. So perceiving the body as the ego doesn't compute for me.

    • @p14men
      @p14men 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there :)
      Below my understanding
      The body is holly
      The ego is glory
      - The body is your temple for you to exist and experience the most out of the life
      - The ego is the socially survival mechanism amongst the others
The issue comes when stop recognizing their distinct nature and merge these into one amalgam
Here is the way to distillate and reverse engineer the mess:
If you somehow achieve to know you chakras, you'll master the body, hence will get the best homeostasis.
If you somehow achieve to be in higher awareness, you'll truly start to see and master the ego, as useless and obsolete heavy armor.
Searching for "homeostasis" is a great thing you are doing, showing your maturity to know the body importance
Because your body is like a "dynamo" for energy
With that energy you could experience the life in its many joys
The more the energy, the more life you could afford to live.
      Spend it wisely :)
      On a further note
      Around your chakras
      Your glands start to secrete
The more they secrete, the more fertile they become
If you restrain to ripe the fruit
The energy will raise to the next chakra
if you restrain again its temptation you will keep ascend on and on
The issue to reach the top is because of the urge to "experience" the daily life
The daily chance to blossom amongst the others
And gain their attention, love and shared joy
That's why you need the awareness to "see" your path during your zombie dull absenteeism
Remember you have seen your path before because of your maturity, ever after your depleted hopeless day
This should always remind you that there is a present waiting for you at the promised lands
After all, we are all born to find the promised land, enjoying the life as well though :)
      You should just know yourself
Don't thank me trying to support you, rather Ben for inspiring the light that makes the smile out of my face :)

It's interesting how the taxonomy of spiritual awakening varies from person to person. In this instance 'I' and 'ego'.
The I Am/the being/the awareness and the egoic construct that we believe ourselves to be are separate. So referring to one's investment in ego as 'I' is a bit sticky as separating the two is ultimately the goal.

Mastering the middle path is also part of Christ consciousness that leads to unlimited potential in the soul evolution, what Jesus figuratively said as the only way to Heaven, the tree of life. Both extreme sides are represented by the Devil's temptations from the ego that stray us away: the materialistic dark Ahriman and the spiritualist of false light Lucifer.

The ego is a thought reference for the body based of the true self as you call it the fact that reality is turned in on itself creating the light of observation the i me thoughts etc is based of that and taken as the real thing because all thoughts are fantasy imagination a form of symbolic concept based ai that humans filter reality though

Like I touched on in the video - it’s through experience that you know. You base it off of how the body responds, how the body feels etc. gradually you can refine things down and find YOUR version of a healthy balance. The key is not to let our conditioning decide, but to discern for ourselves🙏
