Kishimoto made many mistakes which mainly revolved around his characters and lack of effort he put into including them into the story. Now one piece had better storyline, better side characters, more humor, and better world building while naruto had better fights, more emotional, and better villains. 🤕🤕🤕🤕🥺🥺🥺

I never ever felt in any anime what I've experienced watching Attack On Titan. I thought no Anime could ever top Dragon Balls, Naruto, One Piece and Bleach as my ever favorite but in just one Episode my God everything blew it all. Attack On Titan is now my number 1 all time favorite. The feeling I experience while watching every episode was the best moment in my entire life the surprises, the excitement, the anger, the sadness, depression, fear or scare are everything. Its indeed a masterpiece work.

Agree Attack on Titan is a great show, but I still give it to Dragon ball since it came first and redefined the genre and anime popularity in the West as whole, Attack on Titan is a solid S tier behind the GOAT of Dragon ball. Attack on Titan is easily better than modern Dragon ball post 2013.
Aot is just garbage, it's animation is very good though, but it's story is just below average 🤢🤢
I have to agree, AoT topped everything for me. It‘s so unique and I remember how shocked I was when I watched the first few episodes as a teenager. So sad it ended a few days ago, I can‘t stop thinking about all the great moments it brought us.

But for one piece case that's different.... Every character have it's own great story, the bonding, the happiness, the lost and everything makes it great... I have watched Demon Slayer, One Piece and many other popular animes but for me Naruto is the absolute masterpiece of all time. Because the characters like Naruto himself, Itachi, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Nagato, Gara, Sasori etc... Those characters are very unique. The anime which revealed the true meaning of pain and hatred ! My childhood was so awesome thanks to the Naruto series❤️

Growing up in the 90’s DBZ was a staple in the afternoon. Yet can’t forget Ruroni Kenshin and my favorite all time Yu Yu Hakusho Spirit Detective. Till this day the best anime tournament arc.

Naruto, Bleach and Detective Conan were highlights of my adolescence and teenage years. Before that Yu Yu Hakusho and Inuyasha made my childhood along with Rurouni Kenshin. True classics.

My favourite is death note. I absolutely adore the plot and characters. Light Yagami is such a well written character. Despite what fans consider a bad ending to the anime. It is still so popular and loved by many. Everyone must watch it.

I always enjoyed watching Berserk, Hellsing Ultimate, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Fist of The North Star. Mostly I enjoyed watching Fist of The North Star since it is a really dark and depressing series but very exciting regarding their fighting scenes.
Naruto, DBZ, Outlaw Star, Trigun, My Hero Academia and Cowboy Bebop impacts me when they first came to Toonami! And I’m forever grateful for this. ^^

DB is my favorite because I love fight scenes, but Naruto is by far my second favorite because I love the storytelling and ways they go about different topic, like going from a fight like vs Pain to like Naruto: The Last or Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals or sum. But One Piece is also a really great anime. But the pacing is a serious problem right now, and unlike Naruto with the fillers, its hard to know which stuff to skip. I love One Piece and as my first really big anime I graciously accept it as a recommendation to watch

I want to mention the Anime that have incredible soundtrack that often get overlooked instead of just focusing on stories and art style. Naruto, Attack on Titan and Dragonball all have incredible sound track that really help to enhance their stories.

Pokemon, Death Note and My Hero Acamia are very good series!! Although I haven't seen may animes, I've seen those 3, about 1/3 of Demon Slayer, like 1/4 of Erased, a small bit of Yo-Kai Watch and all of Hyouka. But from all of those, I must say those three are exceptional!
Up to episode 640 of One Piece. Holy hell, what have I been missing all these years. So many great characters. Also, Marineford, need I say more...

I feel bad. I can't watch it. Seen like first 2 episodes but it is just beyond me. The character design and the overall visuals with animation included in this anime are beyond horrendous as far as I am concerned. Unwatchable. I am not saying it is a bad anime or anything of the like since I haven't watched it. Just that I don't like it.

Dragon Ball was something special That nothing can duplicated I don’t care what anyone says, I can sit here a write paragraph of why it was special or why it is still special but it would not be enough to get you to understand.
All I can say is Dragon Ball goes deeper than just being a anime, I can bet there are doctors, lawyers, school teachers, famous people that all were kids at one time and were waiting for Tonami to show an episode of Dragon ball, and imitated Goku.
And I’m generally speaking for the states cause I’m from there, but I’m pretty sure other countries would agree.
P.S my other personal favorite in my top 5 would be Inuyasha , I know it not as popular as Dragon Ball but for me it my second favorite anime of all time. And Reincarnated As A Slime to me is the best anime that came out in the last 15 years that show is so fire!!!!
As a 4, 5 year kid i was so fascinated by Detective Conan which was used to show in Zetex. I still remember his name even after the whole anime got shutdown in India. I used to buy Toys and Cards of it.

My first ever experience of anime was DBZ Kai on either Cartoon Network or NickToons, can’t quite remember. I didn’t even know that was called anime at the time, I thought it was just some really good looking cartoon. I remembered every day after coming home from elementary school I’d get my homework done as fast as possible, then run up to my parents’ room and turn on the tv, hoping to enjoy another episode of DBZ Kai, wondering what was going to happen next on Goku’s journey. I have a lot of fond and nostalgic memories from this series, and I’m very glad this was the one that opened the door of anime to me
Demon Slayer deserves the most hype. I've seen every anime on this list and without a doubt none of them come close to leaving the type of emotional impact and awe you feel after watching this masterpiece of a series. Dragonball series and One Piece will always be the most popular because they are kid friendly shows with very imaginative structures. But Demon Slayer is a work of art that can bring a grown man to tears. If you haven't watched it you're missing out
I love demo slayer but can you say you felt more emotional when goku turned super saiyan for the 1st time because as much a love demon slayer i dont think its hit as hard as some of dbz and one peice. I love demon slayer too
Its below average at best . Power system and fighting style copied from jjba and bleach . Villains are copied from naruto . Writting and plot is not that much interesting . that's why the manga got 6.5/10 rating .Just a typical shounen for new watchers . Its popular only because of the peak animation . Before, I used to watch Pokémon as my only anime, but my god did everything change when I got my hands on attack on titan. Aot is truly a masterpiece, the plot is brilliant, the story is so good, the characters are amazing, and the shocking plot twists that brought upon excitement, anger, sadness, and fear makes attack on titan in my opinion the number one anime of all time
I also enjoy watching Pokémon, and chainsaw man, which I also highly recommend
Demon slayer is my favorite anime of all time and I’ve seen every anime on this list plus many more. There is something about the story, visuals, and characters that just hit on another level for me. It’s a beautiful story about siblings which is such a nice change. An anime has never made me buy all the manga until demon slayer. It definitely deserves its spot on this list.

My favourite series Detective Conan. I'm very happy it's on this list, it definitely deserves it, but sadly it's not very popular outside Japan. Before I first watched it, my favourite anime in my childhood was Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
yeah, i blame the western marketing, they made it out like it was for kids when they should've advertised it to teens and adults who likes crime drama. had they done that, i think that Detective Conan would've been a hit over here too.

Many classics that I remember was from watching shows like Cartoon Network/Toonami, Nickelodeon, The Family Channel (before FreeForm Channel), HBO, Disney Channel, and Sci-Fi (before Syfy Channel) taking me way back to my childhood like Astro Boy, Yu Yu Hakusho, City Hunter, Lupin lll (Part 1-3), Outlaw Star, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, Fist of the North Star, Cobra, Beserk, Tenchi Muyo series, Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Macross series, Saint Seiya series, Mobile Suit Gundum series, DNA^2, Dirty Pair, Gintama...So glad Retrocrush has kept some of them alive, can't find a lot of the classics out to stream on the regular.
I’m kind of surprised, though I guess I shouldn’t be, that Initial D isn’t here. At the time, it was very popular (at least in my area), especially for car enthusiasts. Some have considered it a contender for ‘Greatest Anime of All Time’. (P.S. New series confirmed)
In the 90's, Saint Seiya, Yuyu Hakusho and Shurato was very popular in Brazil
I’m not sure how Inuyasha didn’t make this list. It’s actually mind blowing to me. I wasn’t huge on it personally but I just remember it having a massive obsessed fan base. Also, Yu Yu Hakusho should be on here, but that’s just a personal bias.
Inuyasha is a really good anime, but not enough to be considered iconic, nothing personal as i enjoyed Inuyasha and i hope that i enjoy Yashahime once dubbed.
@@UltimateGamerCC I would have to disagree when Yashahime first season aired it rivaled one piece as the most viewed anime of the week, and beating it a bunch of times. It's huge in Japan, and it was a massive success in the states back in the early 2000's. That franchise is definitely top 20, maybe 25 at lowest.

lol very obvious, i mean DBZ popularized Anime shows in the west when the dub came, and it's still huge. that being said i'm surprised that it's still #1 when it's showing it's age, i guess Kai helps to filter the fluff... but since i watched it back on Toonami, i cant unsee the fluff. XD

Jojo's bizarre adventure imo has a better story than Demon slayer.
Surprised not many people talk about jojo since the most heard line in the anime community is the "is that a JoJo's reference". It my favourite anime with all the bizarre things and the amazing fights

It's incredible how Kimetsu No Yaiba has scaled too fast in a too short time unlike any anime before, this says a lot about its quality, and it's not even ended yet, let see how far it would go. No other anime has made through my heart like Naruto and now Kimetsu, in fact, I think that one of theirs keys to success is how they awake people's feelings and emotions, before watching it I was skeptical but now I love Kimetsu.

I've never really seen Sailor Moon. But I will say she basically paved the way for things like Powerpuff Girls Z which is something I actually watched. I thought it was really good

@@cygnusablackhole74 its not about clips, its about the story mainly, story is a lot better than something like naruto or bleach, its nonlinear and be expanded upon in every way, every character has a backstory unlike most useless characters in the rest of these anime
One Piece will go down as the greatest anime of all time once finished. Yes it is the longest show ever, but if you want to watch a true journey it is worth it. There are so many categories. Comedy, action, adventure, drama.. One Piece has it all. I can promise you for those who watch it can agree it will be the best once finished. 🐐
One piece is most definitely one of the best anime’s out there but I can’t see it passing dragon ball at all, DB is literally something so iconic it has its own holiday in Japan I don’t see One piece takin its spot although I think one piece is prob better than naruto

DBZ is legendary...it comes accross all generations of youth and even adult.
BEST Animes (off the top off my head) that I've seen so far: Cryberpunk: Edgerunner, Dragonball (ORIGINAL), Ranma 1/2, I remember I really liked G Gundam also when I was younger, the visuals were pretty cool. Started watching the Eng Dubbed version of Darling In The Franxx last night, it seems somewhat promising. Cyberpunk: Edgerunner is freaking amazing, though! Probably blows every other anime I've seen out of the water tbh...! ❤🔥

I only just recently got into Anime and I started off with the DB franchise (well after the Ultraman Anime) and it really was what got me into anime. It is a great starter anime as to me, it gives you everything you expect without it ever being too much for a start.
If u like dragon ball that much then wait until u start one piece

At this point i don't even get surprised when someone put db franchise on no.1 position in terms of popularity especially after watching the feats dbs was able to perform like breaking the internet and bringing huge crowd to watch it together on big screens db is just clearly on a league of its own
Pokemon had a great momentum with DP, XYZ, and SM besides the original anime. Journeys had so many opportunities but came off short most of the time
