I had to laugh, it’s seemed like every time Mrs. Gold went up to Jerry, she would sniff her and walk away like “ooh kid, you stinky!!”.
Ms Gold reminds me of a few teenage babysitters we've used. They eat all the food for the kids, while only paying sporadic attentions to the babies

Poor Jerry. I hope i he isnt going anytime soon, he just a cutie and DeeDee, i dont want her to go too, Jerry would miss her friend. Marlin, i feel bad for him, to lose half of his tail but i am glad hes better now.

You sure about Mrs. Gold. I though she was licking her after she hugged her like she wondered what she tasted like......hmmm? never know with those monkeys. I use to think Cheetah was so cute in the Tarzan movies until I found out he was screeching in fear and saw the clip with one adult Chimp eating it's baby.

Please explain how or why the foster moms are willing to take on the babies. Isn’t it natural to reject babies that are not their own.? Are they moms who have lost their own babies?

Like the older monkeys just seem to understand how fostering works. It's kind of beautiful. Obviously they don't understand what you're doing on the same level you do, but Mrs. Gold waits to get let in, comes in, grabs herself a bite to eat off the buffet table, and then rushes up to the babies to grab them in a hug. It's like she's cognizant of how this works and is happy to volunteer herself.
