Great video Laura, we took out a small loan so we could get a month ahead while I chop our bills in 4 because paid weekly, because having so little left after the garnishment, was causing me some health issues and mental health issues but now I feel I can stay in front of it. Such a great inspiration 😊your videos are❤
Thanks to you I started a Wealthfront account the end of February. I don't have much in it yet but I've already made over $11 in interest. And I love putting things in different categories.
Thank you so much. I have downloaded some of your items and tweaked them to relate to me. Besides monthly reflections, I changed them to weekly reflections, I get paid from my retirement monthly and from my PT job weekly and use them to help me there.
I have learned so much from your videos about budgeting and debt payoff! Thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos. They really are encouraging and inspirational.🌷
I recently did a cross country move and let me tell ya it was no fun money wise! The things that help me was pricing everything early and selling old things I didn’t need or use and added this funds to my move. Decided the time frame I wanted to move(summer time) which if you can move in the fall that is quite more affordable. Overall my whole move cost me $7500 😢
@@lymanjoyI chose to just drive a uhaul I rented. $3300 plus the car add on was $900 it was originally quoted at $150 but they decided to raise the price when I came to pick it up, even though I paid the deposit early. Gas was $800 for the whole trip. Hotels was $728, food was about $200 and the remaining amount was the cost to move into my apartment once I got to my new city. :) hope this helps.
My boys never cared about their clothing either. It was a struggle to get them to do any school clothes shopping. Eventually, I learned to just buy everything online and have it delivered. They didn’t even want to be a part of the online shopping. Now, sports equipment and accessories were an entirely different subject.
YES!! No spend May... Sadly the last time i did this was November...by the 15th of that month i had $500 in cash accumulated!! That NEVER happens!! So im trying to save for Disney this year!!! So if i cd do no-spend May-Julyish that wd be awesome!!!
Hi Laura, you mentioned that you have some downloadable forms on your pinterest ? Would you mind sharing that ? I can't seem to find you ! I love your videos - you explain everything so well.
Sorry, maybe I didn't explain that correctly. What I meant is there are free printables on pinterest for saving challenges, I don't have a pinterest account. But if you want any budgeting forms I use, please check out my website at www.thelymanjoycompany.com/
Aloha! Just found your channel and am appreciating your content! May I ask how and where you track your daily expenditures? Fellow mom to many (10), cash stuffer and debt-free! Mortgage as well.
Honestly, I don't spend any money out of my checking except bills, food, and gas. And gas and food are calculated to a tee. So all variable I pull in Cash and keep in my wallet so I never overspend what I have. So all that time say I am not a line by line gal to track ever expense but rather only budget what I should spend and stay within those parameter.
@wahineokeakua in my budget printable, there is an expense tracker for those who are tracker people. You can find all my budgeting forms at www.thelymanjoycompany.com/
It was a planner wallet I got looonnnggg time ago. But I can't find it anywhere now, I am working on my own design and will make sure to share with you all when I am done with the designer. There are some similar ones on amazon, put in A7 wallet cash stuffing with coin pouch and a few will pop up.
@@lymanjoy thanks. I just like that it has a separate coin compartment. I don’t like the usual zipper coin pouches that are usually inside the planner itself.
And that is why people are moving. I live in Texas, and we have had lots of people move here. The housing market is hard to find homes, so be aware that it might be hard to find a home.😢

@@lymanjoy thank you for responding. Was just curious if you kept a ledger of sorts to compare with a monthly statement. I appreciate your time.
