You know it's a rough episode of CinemaSins when a Counterargument Sin Counter is triple the actual sin counter less than halfway through the video. Ouch.

Thank you for making this video! I really appreciate it! It makes me feel good to see someone defending this movie that is so criticized. I have two suggestions for you: Everything wrong with Jumanji (The original movie, the one with Robin Williams) and my second one is one for the holidays: Everything wrong with National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation which is my favorite holiday movie! One thing I have to say is that my idea of a counter for your award, I saw it at the end of the videos not during the video. But I still like the fact that I can see the counter during the video!
It’s funny that you’re suggesting the original Jumanji, because that’s going to be one of the next seven videos (along with the other two Jumanji films).
Also, I’m slightly confused when you say that you can only see the award counter at the end of the video, because it’s shown throughout the video when I speak.
@@LukeDougherty1003 What I meant was that in my mind you were only going to put the counter at the end of the videos. But it's okay the way you did it! That's what I meant! Cool! Can't wait to see it! Since you already had it planned, I'll make another suggestion. It's going to be The Mask! One of my favorite Jim Carrey movies! (Only if it's okay with you.)

5:33 the reason why the toilet humour works in Shrek is to signify ogre’s are disgusting and are different to humans. But I do think it works here because maters embarrassing McQueen which is mater character arc in the movie

Luke, I thought the Lemons didn’t kill him right away because they were going to (secretly) crush Mater, Finn, and Holly in the Big Ben clock tower; otherwise, that’s a really good point. The Lemons did say they were gonna blow Lightning McQueen up, after all.

Also, since this my first EWW CinemaSins video to be uploaded in November, I do want to mention that the reason why I didn’t upload any videos in November last year was because of homework reasons (which is understandable when it’s your first term of college). But now, no month has been left out.

3:15. Not to mention, Doc Hudson was sort of Paul Newman’s avatar, in my opinion at least; he was pretty much EVERYTHING Paul Newman, so much so that whatever became of Newman became of Doc as well.
Well from what I have heard, Paul Newman said Doc was his best role he ever did which honestly makes sense why he is pretty much Doc cause of that
And it’s funny that Paul Newman played the main character in a movie called Hud.
This movie will always live on within my heart as a great part of my Childhood
1:58 plus I think Finn has a pointier front so the surface tension got lower. The green gremlin car however had a much flatter front and from what I’ve seen I think he also didn’t fall directly downwards so he got destroyed
Nice job on this. In case you don’t remember, I’m also a fan of Cars 2. It has some flaws, I’ll admit, but it isn’t at all terrible.
Now you need to do Cars 3 to finish the trilogy.

Btw, Jeremy should realize that using a Cars song in CARS is most likely a pun, and the Cars franchise is abundant with car-related puns.

2 things I learned about Jeremy by watching CinemaSins:
- His slogan should be changed to "No movie is without sin. Especially the ones that I dislike, those are only with sins"
- When he says "we", he means "literally everyone (or no one, depending on the context) except me"

Hilarious video here! The CinemaSins guy is a nitpicky snob about movies. I agree with him on Cars 2, but he failed to bring up more serious problems with this movie.
For example, I'm surprised he complained about the purple car using a taser, when she used one earlier in the movie. If anything, I thought he'd mention how pointless it is for automobiles to use weapons at all.
"Hmm, I'm an automobile. I'm more dangerous than a taser or a gun. Essentially, I'm a steel rhinoceros (or elephant) that boasts super speed and super strength. I can reach 60 mph in under 6 seconds. Anything that stands in my way while I'm traveling at any speed is bound to get eviscerated by my gigantic body. Despite my >1-ton weight, I can jump a good 10-15 feet in the air like it's nothing. Unlike a scrawny-ass human, gun shots can't stop me. In short, I don't need a weapon because I'm already a weapon... OF MASS DESTRUCTION!!."
"So, I'll just use rim gun or a taser to stop this guy!"

It's like giving Shadow the Hedgehog a gun and a motorcycle. Why? He has super speed and quills sharp enough to slice through steel, so he's already much faster than a motorcycle and more powerful than a gun. Coincidentally, Shadow the Hedgehog was terrible just like Cars 2 was.

he did actually, in the interview with francesco, Axlerod says that he did invite McQueen but he was taking a break after winning the piston cup
@Luke Dougherty, great video by the way. (Cars 2 is the weakest in the trilogy but it still has some good things about it.)
2:31 He means that Mater is a comic relief character, and having the comic relief character be the main character almost never works out.
While I love this movie as a kid and still love it today, it still baffles me how the hell it got a G rating instead of PG. Why didn't Jeremy mention that? Sorry, I'm using logic on a Cinemasins video mb

Never knew you would like Cars 2 like I do too. I feel like this movie was criticized too harshly. Especially now after the poor reception of the movie Lightyear.
I agree with that, and also, I did say in my video for the first movie that I like Cars 2.
@@LukeDougherty1003 And I respect that. I understand the movie was quite bad because of Mater being the main character instead of Lightning (even though he's the deuteragonist) and the movie is trying to be James Bond, but with cars, but I still enjoyed it for its humor and voice acting.

People mainly hate it because of how it takes on an espionage genre, rather than racing like the first movie did. Believe me, I’m sure this movie would suck if it were just racing, because who wants to watch Lightning and Francesco spit back and forth “I’m fast and you’re slow”?

@@eddiethefriendlytenderengine Personally I think it's more on the lines of Mater being the protagonist instead of Lightning and why Finn and Holly not quickly catching or thinking that he wasn't the actual agent, until he told them. Also while, I do agree it is the worst Pixar movie by concept, I do find it really fun to watch, the musical spy score is good, and personally more entertaining than both The Good Dinosaur and Lightyear.

@@SuperPlacido1 I'm not saying I hated it, I just think it's a lot weaker compared to Pixar's usual catalog. I will say I think the message is good and huge props to the Zurg Twist that was legitimately clever. I just feel like the movie needed more time to properly present the characters that are essential to the remainder of the movie aka Izzie, the scared nerd and the old lady criminal. Also what the F*ck was the point of keeping the first robot our heroes encountered around as a constant threat, if it just amounted to nothing and was slaughtered on sight like what?! But hey, if you think it's awesome, I won't judge. I mean my personal favorite Pixar movie is A Bug's Life so what do I know?

I had no idea that was supposed to be a sad scene. I thought that was an attempt at humor.
Instead, it made me wonder, "Hold up. These vehicles drink gasoline like it's water or juice throughout this series. Yet, here, this SUV is all grossed out and treating a gasoline leak like someone peeing himself. So, do these guys drink their own piss? When is gasoline piss, crap, or water?".
Nice job once more. I see you were really annoyed with the video you were sinning, and there was one good point that had to be sinned (Sin 316). Also, I didn't watch the EWW CinemaSins Halloween video because I don't watch R-rated films, so I got to ask if it was that video or this one where you started give the award its own counter and added 5 sins each time you did that? Speaking of which, I think you only added one sin for the last award which was the last point of the video, but why is that?
Yes, the EWW CinemaSins: Halloween video was when I started giving the award its own counter (it was an idea from Leorio, the saykio aniki, and he commented that in the comment section of the "Discount Th3Birdman?" video) but the adding five sins part isn't because of the award. It's because I do that whenever Jeremy treats his opinions as something wrong with a film (I started doing that in the EWW CinemaSins: Old video). So because he wasn't really doing that for the last sin, that's why I gave one sin instead of five.
