Keep keepin' it real! Nailed it. Appreciate your candid nature, and taking the time to do HONEST product reviews.
Thank you for watching and for the kind words! - Van
What's the diffrence between these and the regular non air shoe?
The non air is not ventilated like this one is so it will be a little warmer. - Van
Do these shoes offer any lateral support? Also how often would you say rolling your ankles occur?
No they do not. If you really want lateral ankle support you need to be looking at full race boots like the Supertech R and the SMX Plus from Alpinestars. - Van
When u do shoe/boot reviews also please show how they look on feet
We will try and blend that in, thanks for watching! - Van
I’m looking for a casual riding shoe like this my issue is laces I hate laces 😂 I miss putting on a boot and just zipping it up. Any recommendations for a casual looking shoe that uses a zipper? Bonus if they make a summer and winter version.
Take a look at the Alpinestars SP-2 Riding Shoes: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/alpinestars-sp-2-riding-shoes/
These use a Boa lacing system that is pretty slick. You can find other shoes that do not have traditional laces below as well:

i have a similar one to these and i looped a wheelie and my bike fell on my foot and it didnt protect shit , it needs harder protection on the toes
These are a less technical, more casual riding shoe. Personally I would use a short riding shoe that was basically the lower half of a race boot when riding on the street as it offered more protection. Here are links to a few examples:

Stop doing Wheelies.
How about don't do a wheelie then haha. If you're doing stupid stuff, you'll need stupid expensive gear to cover bigger injuries.
@@jeremylopez2101 how about for the price they cost here , do its job and protect my foot cuz the alpine star ones have good protection and its cheaper so its no excuse
The lace-lock is a neat idea.
Astars has so many excellent footwear options. - Van
do you have these in all black on your website? and how do they compare to the primer shoe?
www.sportbiketrackgear.com/alpinestars-chrome-air-shoes/
All black is available now. These are pretty similar to the Primer while offering more ventilation with the large 3D mesh panels. If you are looking for a well vented pair of summer riding shoes this one will be hard to beat. (These are also $70 cheaper than the Primer even though they are very similar) - Van
Is this shoe waterproof??
No, this is a vented shoe for summer riding. - Van
how's the width on these?
I would rate the width on these as average. Not too wide nor are they narrow at all. - Van
Any recommendation on a wide shoe in these styles/sneaker look?
@@sportbiketrackgear thanks, ended up buying a pair in 1 size larger than normal and they're great
the lock lace looks like it's the weakest point
I feel like it is robust enough to hold up as long as the shoe would last. - Van
seems a bit gay
Spoken like a dude looking for a date. You will have better luck on another channel. - Van
