I suffered with HS for many years. And never could get a proper diagnosis or treatment. The amount of doctors who told me I had it because I was overweight, was many, and it has nothing to do with weight 🙄. It's a difficult disease to have and to not understand why is even harder. I have suffered with HS in my groin area in my 20's which (knock on wood) has subsided, however in my 30's I had armpits flareups, which from lancing and both self and medical draining resulted in tunneling.... I have large lumps that only minimally have to be squeezed once daily. I must say that in my 50's now it has calmed a lot and I have learned to just not car, and go shirtless at the pool... For so many years I wouldn't show up and expose my armpit areas in shame... I am so proud of the doctors of today, because in 1989 I was told I would just have to deal with it by a dermatologist, and she gave no comfort when she said it... HS is a hard thing to deal with and I pray for anyone affected...
Pretty much the same for me… my flareups started in my 30’s. But before it got to me going to see a doctor about them, I would get the occasional hair bump from shaving or “boils” - or so I thought at the time. Mine is primarily in my groin area too, and I’ve had them in my armpits. I have the tunneling, I had the surgery on the crease of my right thigh. Still gets flareups. I’ve been on long-term antibiotics; I’ve tried Accutane. I’ve always been told it’s hereditary. There’s really nothing that can be done about it. Just let them take their course but mine would abscess and I would end up in the emergency room; back & forth to my doctors; calling out of work or suffer in pain 😢. I was really surprised to hear him diagnose this as HS, since I’ve always heard that the flareups are commonly in areas of skin-to-skin contact, eg: underarms, thighs, breast, groin/ anal areas. But, I felt his pain! This disease can do a number on your psyche and self-esteem; it can make you isolate. They have come a long way in the understanding and treatment of this disease, however. I’m so very sorry you had to suffer through this. It’s wonderful that you can share this experience with others, even though it’s not easy. God bless you for having the courage to speak up and seek help. I don’t know your circumstances but I do know it’s been really difficult for you. You’re looking really good. I’m glad that you got such good results.❤😊
Mom is not only supportive but, beautiful. What a great doctor, so masterful and kind. Praying all works out for you Arlin!🙏🏾🙏🏾💕
This makes you really appreciate life & not complain about the little things that happen to all of us...BUT, this is something so life-changing to this young man!! I'm so glad that this doctor was able to remove it & finally get a skin graft to work for him too. They are such a sweet family & you can easily tell that they so appreciate what this wonderful doctor was able to do for them...he literally gave this young man his life back. I'll be praying that he is still doing well today too & is enjoying life to it's fullest!! Blessings & love to the doctor & this young man & his sweet, loving Mom too. 🙏♥
Blessings to Dr Ryan

Thank God for doctors
No one should have to go through what this guy has been through, thank god for the wonderful support of his Mum. I am so very glad that he was able to be treated by this incredible surgeon. I wish him and his Mum the happiest and healthiest of lives going forward....same to the lovely lady who now looks absolutely incredible after her surgery.
I am so happy and proud of him for taking this great leap of faith to see about this and getting it addressed medically.
Him and his mother are soo precious
سبحان من منحك هذه الموهبه ..وليس المهنه فقط ..انت انسان رائع بكل لغات واديان الأرض ....حماك الله
Thank goodness that he finally got treatment. Thank goodness that I have the NHS to take care of me.
I'm jealous. Healthcare is a major problem here in America. I don't have insurance. I'm barely paying my rent right now. I thank God every day that I'm healthy. I haven't been to the doctor since I think about 2010. If something happened to me, I don't know what I'd do.
These doctors are Angels here on earth. They do such amazing work for people who have lost hope. So glad he was able to get this done and recover. I wasn’t aware that HS could show up on the head. God bless you Dr Osborne and team.
Oh this dear man! I pray he & his mother find healing & joy on the other side of this! YOU DESERVE THE BEST! 🙏🕊️
Dr. Osborne is an angel!!!!
