Shawn is like a walking encyclopedia of medical knowledge.
They should make a show about him.
Truth ❤❤
He is just a good actor...
More like medicalgpt
@@louskunt9798good idea!
"We need to get Murphy in here."
Not gonna lie, got serious chills there.
In all these medical shows, this one and House MD, everyone keeps doubting the genius doctor over and over. In real life, after 3-4 insane genius ideas that work from someone, people start trusting the person and stop saying No constantly.
House needed the push back though. He routinely used a white board.
these are both off the charts of reality so no point in comparing the two, none of this actually happens. This is all a very exaggerated form of every activity that takes place in the practice.
As mentioned by other commenters, the shows aren’t very realistic at all.
But ignoring this, House AND Murphy both need this pushback, otherwise they will start thinking they are immortal, that they can do no wrong. More so in House’s case, since he doesn’t have nearly the same restraint as Murphy. And also in House MD, he’s frequently wrong, but that’s sort of the premise of the show, strange cases, even house gets it wrong, blah blah.
Murphy is a strange one: I haven’t seen the full show, but I can’t see Murphy not making a mistake at least once.
Plus, as with all sciences, medical science is ALWAYS peer reviewed: people look at each other’s work, question it, and learn from it. Scientists will NEVER blindly trust someone else, because it breaks the fundamental principles of science.
It’s also important to remember that both those doctors will have made mistakes when learning: if they made mistakes when they were younger, the chances they make more mistakes will be lower as they get more experienced, but they will never be zero. The doubting from others helps reduce the chance further by forcing the doctors to PROVE they’re right, rather than act on impulse or instinct, no matter how godly those instincts may seem.
@@mhoffman52 Not "push back" but other ideas to consider and rule out. Not constant drama and arguing.

Claire trying to channel the tism likes its the force 😂😂😂😂😂

"She's beginning to believe"
Didnt understand even 10 percent of the video but loved it 100 percent
Glad I’m not the only one🤣🤣🤣
@@johnnytaylor4676Many are there
Inspirational but in real life their is no way Dr Murphy would’ve gone in an operating room without a face mask, especially in a vascular case, one of the biggest rules
He was only consulting not operating.
Oh oh oh relax boy
Is a movie -.-! 🍿
@@donaDsejdiu793 I doesn't matter. If you enter the OR when a procedure is going on you must be masked.

Remembering the scene when Melendez told Murphy the only thing he's gonna do is suction and now him asking for his presence. How far they had come
Yeah he earned Melendez's respect.
It's lovely to learn like him
What I see about Shaun in his mind he sees in his mind how to put perspective things together in the medical profession team
Shaun is so clued up in the medical profession
He is so inspiring that I might take a chance to take a detour from my job and be a doctor 😊
I’m second year student of finance and accounting but this dude has changed my mind a little bit. lol
Do it😊
Exactly @@sagmumba
This is quite a bit different than what actual surgery is like. Yes the words they’re using are a thing but the way they think about the cases and the decisions they make are way off from what would actually happen.
Dont get tired of seeing the same episodes over & over.
Wow, she is capable of receiving another persons experience, that is awesome.
This y they fired han he a good dr no doubt about it but Shaun has a special ability that's y they kept him and let go of han
Releasing the clamp every 10 min leads to re-perfusion injury
Ya was thinking exactly the same
Let's take it up. Great work
Maguyver & House mixed with a Doogie Howard Twist and CSI ❤I love it
Why do some of y’all try to ruin people’s fun by trying to state flaws of movies or a particular scene….we don’t care about that…we just wanna have a good time?
Ditto 👍
Right
He has inbuilt apple vision pro 😂
Calling for him like he's a medical device really shows they have faith in him, like he can be reliably implemented
He sees into a body like I see into machinery.
3D and cutaways.
It is definitely a talent, but he has something more.
He has savant syndrome
So you see it in your head like a 3D image like a box or something Now you can move around take apart put that together
@@FEN_THEREDARROW exactly.
What is really cool is visualizing the motions of something, like a suspension.
When I drive flatbed trucks, I had to visualize stress points for some things.
Put a tie-down in the wrong place, and you could break something.
"It's me Aunty Em."🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
To everyone saying Shaun should have ended up with Clair really dont understand how important having a best friend is in their life. House had Wilson, Alan Shore had Denny, Harvey had Mike and Grey has Christina. And Shaun had Claire.
Yeah, she's more like his sister.
SHAWN ❤
Its was funny when Claire and Asher wolke were trying like Murphy things, like visualing the human anatomy. But they failed.
Am I the only one who noticed the problem with him being in an OR without a surgical mask? The entire procedure should have stopped the moment he entered the room without one.
No different from 30 people breathing down from balcony above ?
@@tumadoireacht Wait, there isn't glass??
It's not unusual for the Anaesthetic team to be maskless....
@@alliecollin1748 Which he isn't. He came in while the person was cut open.

Shawn is awesome
Why is Freddie so adorable?
Dr Han is simply want to take the credit and a bit jealous to Murphy's exceptional skills.
Schawn inspires me
*Shaun
Wow that is a pretty big difference to his name 'Shaun'. Have you seen this show before?
Maybe it was an accident 🤷🏼♀️
I keep hearing Johnny Gat with Dr. Han
It’s the same actor :)
I wonder if Shaun is like this in real life it would be wonderful
no he isnt
Apparently, no.
Shaun is supposed to be made a chief surgeon
Exactly
As fitting as that would be, I think he still has a lot of growing up to do.
Agree
My favorite always
Where can I watch the Season 7 of this show?
When you are a genius and people call you 'wierd'
Now I know where I first saw Ozai...
I remember the glasses guy being ripped in half by two T.rex's
Does Systemic mean affect the whole organ?
I love this show but they have really screwed up. Cancelling the show on Season 7 and not giving us the full amount of episodes. I know the writers strike caused chaos but why aren't they doing what the Blue Bloods producers. are, full season with some episodes now and the rest to come in the fall. Thats what fans of the Good Doctor, Young Sheldon and Station 19 deserve. I won't be watching their final seasons
In my life I to be a surgeon but my destiny brings me to the kichen. i hope in my next birth i will achieve the post surgeon definitely
Next birth? You’re only born once that doesn’t make sense. Do you mean next life? You don’t have to lies it just have one. This is in no way actual but peoples own wanting to believe that there is a next life when there isn’t.
How many people have been motivated by this series to be a surgeon?
I Love working in Thèatre.❤

Now that I’m a med student. I keep looking for everything they’re doing wrong for exam Shawn wasn’t going to be allowed to enter the OR without a mask. Overall it’s a good Shaw. Also clumping the aorta was a terrible move.

Which season & episode is this, anyone? Please

How huge was the tumour ?
Huge. And heavy. I wanna say it was a bit bigger than 30 inches
4:32, Shaun was in the OR without a facial mask on his face. Do you think that this is acceptable?
Not usual....
Yes, cause Freddie is a cutie and we need to see his face 😊
@jillybeanc, I was talking profesional
Walked into the OR with no face mask. . Contaminated the environment with breath germs lol
“We need an OR stat is such a bullshit line” that’s not how it works at all
Is this possible with certain human beings? Has this ever been done?
Yes, Savant syndrome exists, if that is what you mean.
House vs Shaun who wins ?

where is the mask of murphy?😅😅😅 he entered the sterile field
Its unfair
if they cant operate without another doctors help they should not be doctors surgeons or responsible for anyone's life ....
Knowing that someone else has better experience isn't a problem. It's knowing your limitations
Yeah that’s not how healthcare works… please pipe down… doctors ask for others advice regularly
You have not heard about limitations then,we are not gods
omg this is the episode I stopped watching this show hahaha...when she gained his "powers", was such a bs move and disrespect to the show and the character I believe.
To be fair, they only did that once. But the point was that Claire learned to visualize things like Shaun did, not to go off what medical instruments were telling her but to take what she was seeing and figure out what it meant.
Claire was a great character, she ended up leaving the show at the end of Season 4 to take a job at a hospital in Guatemala where she later became the Chief of Surgery. She's returned as a guest character a few times since then, including for the show's final two episodes ever. The final case of the show is going to be the doctors trying to save Claire, who mysteriously collapsed after receiving treatment for Stage 1 Breast Cancer, and Glassman who revealed to Shaun that his cancer from Seasons 1 and 2 has returned and its terminal this time. That latter one sounds more like a long shot, but Shaun isn't willing to let Glassman go without a fight.
The doctors in the final episodes are Glassman, Lim, Shaun, Park, Morgan, Jared Kalu (who returned to the show in Season 6 and was romantically reuniting with Claire when she collapsed, Jared is now one of Shaun's residents), Jordan Allen (a resident who joined the show in Season 4), and two medical students, Charlie and Dom. Charlie is Autistic like Shaun and was actually inspired by him to become a doctor. They had a really rocky beginning. Melendez died at the end of Season 3 and Andrews left at the end of Season 6 because Andrews' actor was gearing up for a Senate campaign or something like that.
@@WarGrowlmon18 all caught up lol thanks
Why dont the americans stop making these "were so clever series" and just come work with the good South African doctors in one of the state hospitals and see if they can keep up.
The only good thing that Americans have is good infrastructure . All the doctors are usually Indian, Asian or African .
It's an adaptation of a Korean drama series of the same title (The Good Doctor). And entertainment and medicine are two very different areas that require different solutions.
Hahahah. South African doctors are garbage
I'd rather sew myself up without lidocaine than go to the dystopia that is south africa 😂😂😂
