One of the best innings in ODI cricket. It changed the perspective of Indian fans towards women's cricket.
This is exactly why I was really surprised when teams stopped bidding for her at the 1.8 crore mark. She is an absolute game changer, probably in the same league as Megalodon and Natu Natu.
Sadly age is against her.
@@speakingmymind7970 Not really. She's fitter, stronger and faster than most youngsters, and will remain so for the next 5-6 years.
@@orion7326 No doubt in that, she is fittest and will play for many years. I am talking from pov of franchises. They are thinking of future of their team, so more investment will be in younger once compare to veteran.
@@speakingmymind7970 that's not how it works. She ain't that old. Franchises mostly look for some years talent, not 10 years talent.

Seriously harman is a pure genius of the game.. can hit long sixes as well as times the ball in the gaps, can bowl... such a versatile cricketer.. and above all she can lead too….😎
That inning was spectuclar... maybe the best innings I saw in knockout irrespective of gender.
Harmonster is an emotion... It was the day, when I got to know about women's cricket and she made me love cricket by her spell, as I never liked cricket before I saw her picture and read about her in the newspaper. She is my idol and today I have started playing cricket. She is my Goddess and my biggest inspiration. I wish I could play in the National team under her captaincy and receive the debut cap from her. I wish my dream comes true...

I was at a Middlesex T20 at Richmond Old Deer Park that day, could not believe what I was seeing on Cricinfo.
Even today, I don't think any batter in the world plays Australian bowlers as effortlessly as she does! If only her team mates did 10% of what she does in a knockout, India wouldn't be bereft of a WC

Even in Wpl final when Harman got out the only reason Mi won was because Nat sciver Brunt and Amelia kerr where there to finish the match .
If there was Indian middle order Mi would have definitely lost the match match .
Remember in Wpl final in last 2 overs there was pressure building

I had a look at the innings and I noticed that she really began to pop off right after the century, as there was a communication issue with her partner.
Harmanpreet, in the moment, was quite possibly the most pissed batter I have ever seen. I think Australia only got a portion of her fury that day.
Watched it live just cause and it is such a core memory now, couldn't stop smiling when I saw an Indian bashing Aussies to that degree.

In the coming years Delhi and UP will win IPL.They have very good young local talent,where as Mumbai is dependent on established old guards.
Agreed! Especially UP have Shweta and Parshavi who I guess will become real forces to contend with in the next few years. Navgire will improve too, So, they'll have Healy, Shweta,Navgire,McGrath, Harris,Deepti, Ecclestone.. which is such a formidable line up!!
Could you please make a video on why England and Australia dominate woman cricket? What can international cricket do to break their duopoly? Can icc look for involving more teams from Europe and America to achieve this because asian teams don't have that standard like England or Australia to win a world cup.
