This bed and breakfast is a HIDDEN GEM in Comfort, just outside of Kerrville, Texas

We were on the road and heading to Kerrville, but without a good pet-friendly place to stay, we changed things up. After a search for pet-friendly hotels on Expedia, we came across the Meyer Inn at Cypress Creek. This is an adorable bed and breakfast just outside of Kerrville in a little town called Comfort, Texas.
There are hotel-style rooms in a main building, and then small cabins throughout the property. All of it backs to the Cypress Creek and gives a peaceful setting to stay while you're in the hill country of Texas.
We found it because we were searching for pet-friendly hotels in Kerrville, Texas. But everything that was available for the night we needed was your basic roadside motel. We wanted something with a little more character, and maybe some room to roam.
The Meyer Inn at Cypress Creek gave us just that! Plus it was within walking distance to Comfort's quaint downtown area. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and there was plenty of space for our dog Zoe to run around and get some energy out from the road trip we were on.

Of course, we were already packed to the guilds in our car since we were heading to spend a couple of months in Rockport, Texas. So I bought a long sleeved T-shirt - had to have a souvenir for sure! We even met a couple of locals at the coffee shop and enjoyed a conversation with them immensely! We included a few fun facts about Comfort from them at the end - but the background had licensed music so we had to remove that (which then jumbles the audio.)
