A day in the life of a sanctuary owner. It's not all feeding and petting sweet animals. Thanks for all you do to save and care for them! The rescue lagoon sounds amazing!
The alligator lagoon plan sounds amazing! It's just another example of how you guys are putting the animal's needs and mental well-being first and making them the most incredible enclosures!💚🐊
Hi, I’m one of the people who said feed Hazel first! 🤣. I guess you’re right, only one fox screaming is better than more of them screaming. Good luck with all the crocodilians, I pray the injured ones heal fast. I really enjoy your channels, thank you and thank you for taking such good care of these beautiful babies. ❤❤
Chris you and gabby have created something very special..!! You both are stellar examples of true, passionate and caring rescue farm owners..!! BRAVO to you both 👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️
Miss Julie _obviously_ knows that avocado is very good for the skin! -- and Daisy trotting over was absolutely adorable, she is just the sweetest girl! Take care and fingers crossed for the best outcome for the big gator!
So cool you & Gabby are building a nice sanctuary for rescue animals. Y'all are bout 20 miles due north of where I once live in Scrambletown in Ocala National Forest. I enjoy nature. Caught a 3' gator in '71 trying to cross road from our lake, to protect from getting run over by fearful country folks. Released per game warden instructions. Worked at Silver Springs in '73, spent half day each day learning much there before starting my food service job. Ross Allen wanted to meet me after he returned from rattlesnake hunt, when he learned I caught a 4 1/2 ft eastern diamondback outside the back maintenance gate and turned in to snake handlers office (Skee Lovell was in office at time). I learned to catch & handle due to time spent watching snake handlers at Ross Allen's Reptiel Institute. He gave me tour of the then Venom Lab. So cool. They had 27 coral snakes they used for making anti-venom of that species, in addition to their pit vipers like rattlers, cottonmouths, & copperheads. I envy you. Such hard personal blood, sweat, tears and $$$$$$$$ to get what you have accomplished so far. Don't know when I'll be in FL again, but I'll include a stop to tour the sanctuary. I know when I return, I'll be revisiting Gatorland to meet up with Savannah, Mike, & Danny (met last year spring, Savannah gave my son & I personal tour). May God bless your efforts to care for as many creatures as you're able to handle.
The foster piggies are SO CUTE!!!! They just loved that avocado. Watching these vlogs of your amazing sanctuary just has become an joy filled experience. thank you for all you do! Blessings to you both.
Tell Gabby not to worry about that rope in the coati enclosure. The rope itself can hold well over 1,000lbs, maybe even a ton depending on the material. If you’ve got it secured well to that beam, Chris can swing from it all day with no issues. Swing away, Chris! It’s like a private rope course. 🤘🏼
Awe Love your videos so much love the animals you do amazing job on the cages cleaning them great job Chris and gabby you guys look after your animals ..thanks so very much
Oh my word, hazel is like the nagging wife lol. She gives poor shippo some grief, although im sure he can handle her. Its great knowing there is one place where we can go to help support the sanctuary. Thanks guys as always ❤

Hazel is so funny she makes me laugh so much! Has she claimed down at all since being put with the male? Those emus are so cute and so big! Thank you for saving Big Mac, I hope his recovery is going well and I felt so bad about hearing his story. Can’t wait for you to get more alligators and crocodiles! Love the daily vlog and I wait every day for new updates. Much love to you and Gabby thank you for saving these animals! 💕💕💕💕💕much love from Iowa
I enjoy watching and learning about the different animals Julie is a sweetheart of a pig, jelly bean is so pretty Bella is so very pretty for a alligator 🐊 I love all of the animals that you have and take care of❤
Oh boy we're going to need Prozac at the rate you're churning out these videos. Sitting on the end of the seat, chewing my nails waiting in anticipation for the next installment with more Gator NEWS. More addictive than any TV soapi
For the few people who have asked what adding Bee Pollen to the creatures food does: Bee pollen is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral in nature and is loaded with a whopping 200 active substances including amino acids, triglycerides, vitamins, micro and macronutrients, flavonoids.
I just come here to see the emus they literally make my day when they have the zoomies 😂 Hazel needs an enclosure by herself cause Shippo 😊is so calm and a good boy he gotta be thinking why did y’all pair me with her 😅😂
The Bellowing Acres website is awesome!! Wow the rescue lagoon will be EPIC, once it comes together with the help of fundraising donations! 🙌🐊 Holy SMOKES another big beautiful gator!! Hope he (I assume) recovers, and same for Big Mac ❤
Excellent as always Thank you guys....... Love the idea for the new lagoon so exciting I was hoping some businesses would step up and help out too hopefully they will you not only need it but deserve it in my humble opinion
Oh wow. Another big gator! My word the fourth one. Shame sorry to hear it's sick. I don't suppose you can take it to the vet? Quite difficult with the big ones, do you know someone who can give advice regarding the diagnosis and home treatment whenever you do have one with a health issue, that you need help with? Cannot wait to see and hear more about it, on the next video How's BigMac doing? About how old do you think he is? Is there any way to accurately guage the age on these mature crocodilians? Well I'm hoping that he's hanging in there and no longer concussed. Exciting times with having the permit to now House these ancient Dino beasts.
First of all, myself and other really enjoy the animal videos that you two put out for us. Really enjoy them. Just a thought after watching this one as far as room for more crocs and alligators what about fencing that natural pond area to house some?
Have two questions, one is it possible to train foxes? Obviously for only small activities and tasks, but would that help with mental emotional stimulation? Question two are you to give a fox certain types of toys large bones or something similar to a Kong I know those are obviously for dogs, but with that help to keep the mind busy for foxes that are in sanctuaries? I know you guys are insanely busy and have a little time for anything. I was just curious if these are ideas that may help the three foxes in the future! Again, thank you so much for the wonderful videos and sharing your experiences. I love to learn about nature and enjoy your channel very much.
Some foxes are semi-domesticated russian experiment during the soviet union and probably other organisations. They still don't make good pets! I'm pretty sure most animals can be trained including foxes but you need to spend alot of time on training. How much time idk and it probably depends on the individual fox
Hazel and Kira were both very vocal, do you think that they're competing in the vocal arena? I don't know enough about foxes, but could it be a territorial thing, that the cleverest fox would normally get to eat first?
Hi Chris and gabbie, using that kind of wood being light in colour, does that mean you scrub down more enclosures with bleach. Because of how easy it stains? And do you have to scrub them daily?
Forgive my ignorant question but I am from Scotland and know little about crocodilians....but...can alligators and crocodiles be kept together, in the same enclosure? Or are they natural enemies?
I'm not an expert, but from what I can say is that it all depends on the species, size, gender, habitat stressors, individual temperament, and personal preferences. Some are solitary by nature, others by choice. Some will compete with each other, others may care less.
My mouth waters every time you show what the food bowls contain for the coatis and foxes! For the longest time I thought Jelly Bean made the "Wuh Ruh" sound. But infact it turned out to be Zazu the hornbill. You rarely show him feeding. Why? Is he camera shy or particularly messy?

Shippo looks to be so gentle and sweet. I'm sure he would like to know what he did to deserve being paired up with the Screaming Banshee aka Hazel.🤣
😂
She needs to be by her self lol
All i can say is poor Shippo.🤣 He has a loving home, but Hazel is crazy.🤣

The Trio kinda looks like Gilligan’s Island

Hi Chris and gabbie, using that kind of wood being light in colour, does that mean you scrub down more enclosures with bleach. Because of how easy it stains? And do you have to scrub them daily?
Hazel is a right madam isn’t she. Could she not be separated from Shippo, to give him some peace from the crazy girl? 😁

Just curios…do you remove a avocado pits? Makes my dogs really sick but may be dog specific.
So what's the bee pollen good for, for the animals?
My mouth waters every time you show what the food bowls contain for the coatis and foxes!
For the longest time I thought Jelly Bean made the "Wuh Ruh" sound. But infact it turned out to be Zazu the hornbill. You rarely show him feeding. Why? Is he camera shy or particularly messy?
Camera shy
Oh, and the skunk's food bowl too!
Yum!
Do these animal take bath?
Does your sanctuary have a specific name?
Hazel is a hot mess lol 😂
