Absolutely brilliant! Best crane video ive seen in years!!! Please make more assembly / disassembly videos. I would love to see a full rig from transport config to stacking ballast to installing the tray and assembling the luffer to full operating mode, but with same detail! I can watch this for hours!!
Brilliant video. What’s crazy for me is that I’ve got a few model cranes and always assumed the setup pain was due to the scale. I had no idea it was so complex in real life!
Brilliant video, more like this would be great , perfect camera angle, you can see what you are doing which makes it really interesting, an hour long episode would even better, keep up the good work
Also if you could give us a few reeving diagrams for different hookblocks (which sheeve to start on the ropehead and the order of sheeves you run the rope on the boomhead and hook sheeves)
Very heavy loads, and or a lot of boom out. Takes some of the load and arch out of the boom tubes, takes some of the load and transfers it to the counterweight area and stabilizes lateral movements

@Cranebrain you should have showed them how easy it is to take super lift on and off the crane completely. It can be wank 🤣🤣
@@kitbuilder123 😂😂 yeah it can be a nightmare sometimes and then slide hammers are the worst 😂😂

Oh and please show a large hook reeve up
I did to a 16 fall yankee Reece video mate appreciate the support means a lot bro
What dose the Y Guy do?
Laymen’s terms strengthens the boom 🤟🏻
Do you you need the y guy all the time ,or is it a thing the crane needs to lift up things mate 💪💪💪🦾🦾🦾

He hit nail on head we use it most of the time but ya can use crane on just main boom no problem just can’t lift as much
