I love the LTM 1130, the other red bolt head is for the alignment of the slew pin when the ballast lift rams are clear of the lift pockets, that would be a good thing to show the novice watcher's and yes don't forget the front window when installing or dismantling the C/W . Hi Connor that was very good, I've got a laugh for ya, The Wife and I were given tickets to Donnington crane expo by a very good friend through Terex, I love the Liebherr Range so much I got the ltm1055 that was my first affair with the brand tattooed on my right forearm the artist did a fantastic job, I had the opportunity to have a go in the new 50t city the Liebherr tech that was running people through was heavily tattooed himself and noticed mine and was very impressed, we went in to have lunch and he spotted me as we sat to eat a group of Liebherr suits come over all wanting to look and take a few photos in German one of the top brass said to the technician to ask me if I had advertising rights, I shit myself and thought no way "Really" they all laughed and the top brass said tell the Aussie that he has my Approval, Very Good.....

I think being able to double key the radios is necessary. If I'm swinging with a tray and have a flagger at the hook that likes to constantly key and the guy watching the tray needs me to stop then he can interrupt. I won't understand him but I stop and wait to hear from him before proceeding

How long is the crane expected to be actually working as opposed to the rig/de rig time

Dont apologise, if ur concentrating on y/t ur not completely focused on the crane, think learning that beast of a machine takes full focus

Have you thought about recording video, taking the sound out and then just giving us running commentary? ie record you talking separately and then combine it with the video. Or even use your headset to record somehow.

I can understand you lads needing the earphones.......I cannot for the life of me see the reason why a 360 driver needs them! I'm a 360 op and have NEVER needed them and been on a range of different projects 😅

good luck on the focus 30. been following mammoet for years and the focus project is indeed a pice of engineering. The SK6000 being build up is another massive project. Its a good time to be in the vertical lifting world

Also if you could give us a few reeving diagrams for different hookblocks (which sheeve to start on the ropehead and the order of sheeves you run the rope on the boomhead and hook sheeves)

Oh and please show a large hook reeve up

Absolutely brilliant! Best crane video ive seen in years!!! Please make more assembly / disassembly videos. I would love to see a full rig from transport config to stacking ballast to installing the tray and assembling the luffer to full operating mode, but with same detail! I can watch this for hours!!

I was excited the other day as I walked past my local business that stores cold food and they were having the roof replaced, they had the worlds biggest self erecting mobile tower crane there, six axle but very tall and impressive. Came from Bristol I believe. Need a head for heights where the cab was!

Instant sub! Big cranes in Britain, yes please! I'd love to do the job but I know it's long hours and time away from home. Plus you need a mind for engineering and a bit of maths for safety. Incredible machines though, very expensive too.

I worked on one crane and that put me off fixing cranes for life 😂😂 brilliant to use but having to repair them no way life too short for that 😂

That crane is a mechanics nightmare not dream 😂 As a mechanic all I could think about was broken sensors burst pipes faulty electrical connections ect 😂😂😂😂

Fantastic video of this innovative piece of engineering, as a retired engineer this is such a great look at how this complex piece all goes together, in my "younger days" I tried to get in to the crane and lifting industry, but was never successful, it's great to see all of your videos and to show from an operators view how the industry works, keep up the good work just loving the content. Keep safe out there.
