Would love a video just pointing out what the parts are on the crane and the terminology. Being someone who doesn’t have a clue but is interested. Keep it up!!
great videos i run a ltm 1250 right now until our new 1750 comes in the only thing i suggest is when sitting in upper cab use your camera stick instead of on your head. that way you can show more of what is going on.
Nice one CB 👍 Still working through the back catalogue and I'll pop a comment on every one AND I'm watching all the adverts Just for the PooTube algorithms P.S. Did Liebherr get in touch with you for the Bauma tickets?
The tele pedal is used in Cranes from 1350 up to 11200. Fun fact: it's an customer option. I had a 1450 WITHOUT a pedal for telescoping system ;) By the way, I press the pedal with the right foot and then push the tip of the left foot under the pedal for telescoping out ;) Have a nice day
Yeah I said same but had a guy show me a 1060 with a pedal couldn’t believe it haha and yeah that’s a good technique I do myself when my foot gets tired haha thanks for watching pal 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Hi Connor that was very good, I've got a laugh for ya, The Wife and I were given tickets to Donnington crane expo by a very good friend through Terex, I love the Liebherr Range so much I got the ltm1055 that was my first affair with the brand tattooed on my right forearm the artist did a fantastic job, I had the opportunity to have a go in the new 50t city the Liebherr tech that was running people through was heavily tattooed himself and noticed mine and was very impressed, we went in to have lunch and he spotted me as we sat to eat a group of Liebherr suits come over all wanting to look and take a few photos in German one of the top brass said to the technician to ask me if I had advertising rights, I shit myself and thought no way "Really" they all laughed and the top brass said tell the Aussie that he has my Approval, Very Good.....
Bigger cranes are usually always pinned boom sections. Some smaller cranes, the 40t Liebherr can and the Terex city cranes can tele a load but can be weight dependant. It has to do with the weight of the boom sections plus the load weigh and the tele function capacity I believe
Yes it has tele duty’s mate I’ve telleied out with 40t on hook no problem dramatically decreases the lower boom angle though like all cranes however ya duty is so much better when pinned can’t do it with y guy though
Guess it can be turned off if you wanted, it's nothing mechanical. Just electronic click every quarter turn of the winch or so. Useful when the operator doesn't see the hook, for slow and precise movement etc.
@@romix8340 Pretty sure it started that way on early cranes, just a cog on the winch axle and a piece of metal. Now with multiple winches and soundproofed cabs, it's better to do it in computer.
I find it therapeutic haha can turn it off like it is a little electric mechanical device though not just a sound effect can feel it hitting the top of leaver every time it clicks 🤟🏻

Yeah cheers bro appreciate the feedback on that 🤟🏻🤟🏻 good luck when the 1750 rolls in unbelievable cranes 🤟🏻🤟🏻
I operate a 1060.3.1 in Dublin and our company sent the 500t to Scotland for rest of the year to work on a wind farm
A lift video would be very cool 😮

@@Cranebrain I didn't recognize 🙈🙈🙈 yeah it really helps when you have long booms like the 1450s boom 😜
the 1110 i operate has a tele pedal too. kinda hate it.
good video from inside cab , can you add an outside camera so we can see what the crane is doing Thanks
Another great video, if you could video the lift that would be great ,keep the camera running as long as possible 😊

I would love to know how long you have to train to operate this beast. Do you have to take a special driving test because it’s so big.
cant wait for a lift video
@Liebherr At least send him a hat!
Can you tele in/out with a load on the hook? Or does the boom need be in a locked position to lift?

@@Cranebrain- I guess you can’t tele with the Y Guy as the tension has to be kept up on the guys to give the additional capacity?
@@PeteMcCrea exactly that mate you would have to un tension it to telle out wouldn’t work
Isn’t the winch noise annoying ? Is it a kind of security rack ?
It's a feedback device for the operator.

@@AndrewCZ47 oh ok thanks, I thought it was mechanical with the sound
