I think you underestimate just how difficult putting Luigi's Mansion 2 in HD on the Switch is. Like, it's a 3DS game that was originally coded with 3D and two screens in mind. On top of that, despite you thinking that it's only slightly up-resed from the original, if you compare the 3DS version to the Switch version, you can clearly see that there is a MASSIVE difference, redone animations, redone textures, redone effects and much more. So yeah, despite the game looking like an easy port to Switch, it is not

Nintendo said early on that they wanted this console to go for about 10 years. I do not believe that we are going to see a new console or hear about one until after 2025. I don't think it's going to happen. A lot of fans think that they need to update and everything but if they're getting their first party titles to run decently on this console they're going to keep running it. You'll get marginal changes. The oled versions they're probably going to be pushing a lot but I don't see a completely new console for another couple years still.
For Mario Party, I‘m hoping for DLC for Superstars, a sequel to Superstars, or a new game entirely, as long as NDCube do a good job. Not expected, but would appreciate. Do you think we could get another Mario Party in 2024, or 2025 or 6? Reply to let me know, thanks. 👍
There's been a pattern of a new Mario Party about every 3 years, so it wouldn't surprise me. But the next game is likely to be on the new system. It wouldn't make sense to put out a new Mario Party at the very tail end of the Switch unless there's some cross-play.

A mix between Star Fox Assault & Starlink Battle For Atlas combining space travel & planet exploration of Starlink Battle For Atlas with vehicle swapping & on foot combat of Star Fox Assault would make a perfect Star Fox game.
I was originally on that train but then I thought about how I actually wouldn't want that as well as nintendo wouldn't do that. However a game that uses the sf 2 gameplay, replace the walker with on foot, have branching paths like sf 1 (not 64) a strong narrative that you can only get by playing all the paths. An even better version of assaults multiplayer with online. This is more probable as it's not so big and expensive as an open world game. It's more in line with what they might actually do and it's the best way to make a new sf game that could get the attention of none sf fans for lack of on rails and a good playtime. I estimate 15 and a halve hour experiences.

I would not be against a Starfox Adventures 2, being a more focused action adventure puzzle solver to fill the void zelda is leaving. Probably make it a bit closer to the modern tomb raider games, let him use his blaster. I was a Nintendo fan up until 2018. The Switch has been a soulless, depressing let down. The hardware and the gimmick are fine but the lack of good first party titles, it's essentially a portable Wii U port player. The fact that it's best seller is a Wii U game from 10 years ago is pretty telling (Mario Kart 8.)

I think that Princess Peach Showtime is meant to be more of a Luigi's Mansion title made by Next Level Games rather than a Yoshi title made by Good Feel. It just has that Next Level Games polished feel to it.

Nintendo will reveal info about their next new console during the summer, highly doubt they'll revealer it early next year if they plan to release said system during the holiday season of 2024. Also I expect that Nintendo will release a new Mario sports game but not a party game at the same time though probably save that for there next console.

I think that Princess Peach Showtime is meant to be more of a Luigi's Mansion title made by Next Level Games rather than a Yoshi title made by Good Feel. It just has that Next Level Games polished feel to it.

Luigis mansion 2 for 60$ is absurd. Couldnt they put lugis mansion hd too there and let the players play the three games on switch. Is it that much to ask? Its literally the bare minimum i think for the price
@kemet_nil:they could easily be leading up to doing all 3 Luigi’s mansion on the switch they already have the third game on the switch it would be nice if they did 1&2 as well and alot of us didn’t know Luigis mansion 2 was a thing aka me and my family and also in order to do game 1 for Luigis mansion they would also have to do game 2 first since game 2 was done for the 3DS and they would have to 2 steps for Luigi’s mansion 1 to be on the switch since Luigi’s mansion 1 was made for the game cube but I still see them doing Luigi’s mansion 1 at some point as well espeically since the switch is portable and the bigger switches can hook up to the tv

Hey Im glad they put Luigi mansion 2 on switch i never got to play it since play on the home consoles more. it rubbed off the wrong way when they put the first one on a home console back in the gamecube era and put the 2nd one on just a hand held when it should have been on the handheld and a home console back on wii era ,or Wii U era
Them not remaking Super Mario 64 with today's graphics is an insult.
What they did with Super Mario RPG they should give the same treatment to Super Mario 64.
That game even as of today is still widely played by a lot of speedrunners and TH-camrs.

Kirby: Star Road? I'm guessing they'll do the same thing to Star Road they did to Planet Robobot by making it play very similar to Forgotten Land. So it would use the same assets from FL, similar to how PB used the same assets from TD. Also, 2 year gap like PR. It should be called "Kirby & The Star Road", not "Kirby: Star Road" unless they're going back to 2D. I hope not.
My guess:
- Metroid Prime 2 + 3 HD and Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 HD, treated just like Pikmin 1 + 2 HD were. Slightly updated controls for the Switch, but are basically uprezed. Luckily they already look beautiful. Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD are also ported from the Wii U to Switch finally.
- Pokémon Black & White get remade for the Switch by ILCA.
- Mario Sluggers revival by Next Level Games announced
- Kirby Epic Yarn Deluxe is the 2024 Kirby game
- Switch 2 announced for a 2024 release with new Super Mario 3D, Metroid Prime 4, and Donkey Kong announced for launch period. While not launch titles Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda are showcased for 2025 titles
- Switch 2 is heavy on third party announcements with many games that the Switch couldn't handle get announced for Switch versions or get Switch 2 upgrades to be on par with the PS4/Xbox One versions

It would be delusional to think that Nintendo is going to just suddenly drop the Switch user base in 2024 or that they are going to devote the resources to completely new entries in these series when they have a new one coming out.

They should let Takashi Tezuka or Yoshiaki Koizumi direct a brand new 2D Game while the main team cooks up their big 3D game.
They directed Link's Awakening and Majora's Mask and currently seem to be on shovelware duty.
