well, that embellish thing really works. I made up a whole new story in part 2 speaking.
the other main thing is IELTS examiners are so polite that even if you are not getting some interesting ideas they'll give some (in my case, my examiner totally helped me by giving some hints and I think it's because of her I scored 6.5, hoping to improve it soon IA)

Writing to thank you for this. I didn't take any classes (just saw this video) and scored 8.5 in the Speaking section. To anyone reading this, 'Elaborate' & 'Embellish' are the most important things. As he suggests, you should tell a story, it doesn't have to be true. 99% of the things I spoke about in the test were not true LOL.. THE MOST important advice if you want to score great in speaking.

Thanks! I got difficult questions about my favorite clothing... I am not interested in clothing and fashion so I didn't knew what to say. Its really a pleasant way to elaborate and express the thoughts on speaking as if it is really a true activity.
Tomorrow on 11th Nov, is my real IELTS speaking Test. No sooner did I get up today in the morning than some thoughts about cue card were stimulating me in reference to Artificial Intelligence.... In the noon while I was keenly watching highly knowledgeable jay's video, I came across advertisement of AI. How shocking !! So sad for me Brother... I could rewind the whole video, but could not rewind the advertisement. It had really great vocabulary regarding AI. However I know Most of the people hate adverts in and between the continuous video, I have a great fascination for such ads with rich vocabulary..... I cant force but make a humble request to rewind that advertisement for me. Great Video.... Wish me Best luck... Jay, your eyes are so charming that it always attracted me to you to listen more and more and always gained confidence in your speech that it will definitely improve my score. Hello Jay,I just finished my part 1 of my IELTs and it was a tough one!in the reading the passages were all very long and it took me ages to find the keywords!the listening the speakers talked fast and the writing task 1 gave us 2 table charts😹and task 2 agree n disagree!
