I have heard many variations of this piece in many different instruments but this performance is just outstanding. First off all it’s flawless, i mean not a single wrong note, and second of all, you really gave a lot of emotion to the piece, you can really feel the emotions. Very well played! You are really talented and i hope you keep on doing more of these videos.
Pretty sure there are some wrong notes at 3:24. You can hear the mallet click from the whiff on that run back up the board but yeah almost flawless I think
Normally La Campanella gives my anxiety. But there is something soothing about this. It's either the energy if him or the tone of the marimba. I can't decide.❤

Oh, you mean classical composers? There are still a handful of classical musicians nowadays, including myself. On another note, this piece would probably also blow his mind already considering that it was arranged for the piano, an instrument that wasn't well-developed at the time yet. Secondly, the piece was written in the romantic era, far from when mozart lived. ALSO, please do stop using "mozart" and "beethoven" when you're giving examples of composers.

I've played this before, never really got it locked down into concert level confidence so I don't list it with my repertoire though. This guy taking it to marimba is just bonkers tier awesome. /Also a member of piano gang.
I'm amazed at how close this is to the piano version. i was expecting it to be heavily abridged, re-arranged, and simplified. Great work! It sounds just like the original, even with the chromatic scales, trill, and alternative octaves.
