Aww... looked like it really got up there. The Hellcat is probably my favorite scale airplane and although losing it sucks that’s the best way for them to go. Looking forward to seeing what you build next!!
Some nice memories! I think they improved on the wood quality a lot, so be carefull, even paint will not stop it from getting out of the leash ;) Thanks for commenting!
I flew a 6gm No-Cal P-47 on a warm summer day between Sagitta flights on the sod farm......with 2 1/2 minutes worth of turns on it, it wound up OOS just like your Hellcat ! ...... this is why we build the models - to fly.........a last memory isn't so sad when it flys away, it's a very successful trimming flight !
That is a amazing flight. I'm building one right now. I hope to get 60 seconds of flight time. I have never built any rubber powered model that I would ever loose. I just can't get them to fly like yours. Sorry for your loss. 😞
@@livingroomflight2780hey.. not all kids.. I’ve got 6 girls and 2 boys age 6-24. They all help me build and crash rubber and rc airplanes. They would be totally stoked to have found that.. I have the same kit in my pile of kits to be built. Thinking about doing it.. but anyways. Y not tape your name and address on or paint it on somewhere. All mine have a small bit of paper with my info glued on the bottom.

Thank you! Totaly agree, best way! Next is fiat g-55, looking forward for your builds aswell! :-)
What a way to go! When I built the Guillows Hellcat as a boy, it received a coat of blue spray paint. Little chance of flying away.
