Comet German Arado, Arado Ar96, 16" ws, rubber powered

I took too short motors, could not wind up to 2000+:( Next session with more winds onboard plus new tissuecals on the wings. Had to chop off the wings to add more dihedral;-O, music Peter Drew - The Greaser from fma.

Launch- pitch up- roll to the left- nose dive to- ground. Every Comet model I ever built. Fantastic work!!! Keep building and flying!

Thank you! that sounds like not enough down and right thrust ;-) when the glide is ok with cg ~30% and stab and wing incidence is ok on ~3deg, when you add power, they want to stall and left roll. right and down thrust cures it. (thats what I read, im not aerodynamics expert :-) ) this has 3 deg right and 4 deg down. rule of thumb is to start with 3down, 3 right. success in flying! :)

I also think my motors are not long enough and/or I don't wind them enough. I built a KeilKraft Sportster and got it to make one complete circle before landing. Yours go around and around and around. Gorgeous.

Cool, one circle is a good start! My motors are usually 3times front to rear peg distance. Max turns are about 2500 winds. Here, was less those motors were also a bit too short.

Cool, happy you like them:) Yes, indoor will be back for sure, I have some new ideas to try! Just for the time being I am focusing more on outdoor, but fly my undestroyable ministick with bamboo spars on the regular basis:)
