Peanut scale rubber powered mig-3 december flying

  • That is the model I have lost few months ago. It spent I guess 3 months in the bushes, I have found it last weekend. The tissue was still tight and only in the front a bit of tissue was torn. It got patches, new nose block and was ready for some winter action :-)

      thanks! camera has broken zoom unfortunately, beware of the sand, need a new one ;-)

    Good job on finding a lost plane! I never built a low-wing a/c that flew that well. I'm going to attempt some winter flying myself!

      Thanks! Mig-3 does not really suffer from low-wing problems. Has long nose moment, a bit of flat wing plus I added nice amount of dihedral which makes it a good flyer, easy to trim, can recommend. Do that, and post a video! :-)

    Nice flight! Please tell me How long cm rubber? and How many turns rubber at thats good flight.

      Thank you Ikuya Yabuuchi! The rubber was a loop of 3/32 15 inches long, about 2200 turns.
