Wow. The detail is amazing that you put in. The use of Volkswagen parts I love the most. Incorporating parts from other trucks where used perfectly. The 3D printer is definitely a game changer.
Hey Andrew! Holy moly!!!! Just when I thought I had seen it all... Enters the War Rig!!! You absolutely nailed the look of replicating the mad max version with your little twist. I love that you refrained from purchasing the files and built this thing from scratch. For someone with as little experience in this genre, this is inspiring and should be motivation to those who are just starting out to show that this is possible. I love the details all the way from the little skulls to the giant wrecking ball. Thanks for the shout out. I can't say I'm surprised by what you have done here but I am absolutely impressed. You should be very proud of this one, its stunning 😎👊✌
Hey, Jay! Great to get positive feedback from one of my Gaslands mentors.🤓 $75 in download fees and another $100 in 3D printer resin also helped the decision to not use the files from a Gaslands website. Not really. I wanted to mix printed bits with scratch build stuff and random parts from the junk bin. I think it all mixed together well. Maybe one day somebody will look to this video for some tips. On to the Gigahorse! 🍁👊 (BTW it was nice to have Amanda chime in too from the Gaslands TV FB page). You two take care and enjoy a lovely Long Island weekend. From Switzerland - peace!✌️
Andrew…I’m at a loss for words…and that’s a rare occurrence. This is truly a magnificent build. The one thing it’s missing is…nope…it’s got that too 🤣. Not only is the build spectacular, but in the video you not only state but capture the true joy that can be found doing these builds. Your imagination ran wild and you put that into the build with such wonderful results. Exceptionally well done my friend! (Thank you also for your kindness of including a shoutout to my channel!)
Hi, Jim! Thanks for this kind feedback. It means a lot coming from one of my mentors! Your Gaslands builds have inspired and educated me and many others, hence, the well deserved shoutout! You know how fun it is to do these. If that ever gets lost, some re-evaluating needs to be done. I'm rested and refreshed after a fine summer break and ready to go again. Thanks for your support and encouragement! 🍁🦫👊
Thanks, Jack. It was my most ambitious project to date, and still gets the most views per month. I have hung on to all of my Fury Road builds and keep adding them to a scorched earth diorama that I made since this War Rig video came out. Not that I have any room to display them properly, but they're not so kid friendly. 🍁👍
I like how you said you didn't want to run before you walk and said you were more or less a beginner with this stuff and then you create one of the coolest Gaslands vehicles I've seen on TH-cam. Great work!
It was just about my first Gaslands creation. Easier to do these on a large scale like this SuperKings, in my opinion. I've done several others since. Thanks for the positive feedback. I appreciate that a lot. Greetings from Switzerland. 🍁☕️👊

Wow, Andrew😮👍! What an epic build...it looks absolutely out of this world...figuratively and literally! Absolutely amazing and a testament to your building skills...awesome work, brother!😀
Thanks, Marc. I only had the film to go on, so creativity had to kick in here at some point. They really are fun to do, big or small. Glad you liked it, and your feedback is really encouraging. More to come, I think. 🍁👊

Really creative. I’ve seen most if not all of your videos and the difference between the early ones to now is amazing. I could not tell at the end that a matchbox super kings rig was used.
Thanks, RJ. That's nice to read. I smile when I go back and see my early builds! It's a great hobby with no stress, so it's a delight to sit down at the bench and create these things. This one was the biggest and most fun to date. I'm sure glad you found my channel and are getting some enjoyment out of it too. Thanks as always for the kind words. I wish you a lovely day in Mississauga. Hello to the whole fam! 🍁👊
Thanks a ton, PB! I put some extra time into this one and enjoyed the whole process immensely. More Fury Road vehicles to come this Fall. I'm hooked! 🍁👊
Thanks so much, Hugo! The key word here is fun. No doubt about it. I didn't have any deadlines to worry about, so I just took my time over the summer and voila. No worrying about painting inside the lines either! 😂🍁
Thank you, Martin. Fun is the key word, and if that's the goal, I was very successful on this one! Great time poking away at it over the summer weeks. The video was a bit longer than normal, but I had a lot to squeeze in there. I wish you a great week in the UK. Lovely weather here in Switzerland! 🍁
Thanks, Doug. There was no rush to complete this one. No deadlines, so I just took my time and poked away at it over the summer. Good times. Hope all is well with you! 🍁👊

Thank you, Summer. It's the biggest I've taken on so far that's for sure! More to come, as I'm hooked on these now. I'll spread them out though, so they don't become routine. Enjoy the weekend. 🍁👊
Thanks, Jamie! That's kind of you to say, and your opinion matters in these Gaslands projects. I'll be watching your stuff for more tips on dioramas now. That's my next learning curve. I need a nice home for this one and future builds. Gigahorse coming in the Fall! 🍁👊
Andrew, that is one AMAZING and detailed MB build ... You level of skill and imaginative ideas are top notch for sure. I have watched this now for the 3rd time in order to take in all the points (no pun intended)of interest. I can't wait to see your next gaslands build.
Thanks for the kind feedback, Chris. More to come, for sure. I'll space them out so that they'll be special. I'm thinking of doing more of the Fury Road vehicles, as they are lot of pics for reference. Glad you enjoyed this one. Have a great day! 🍁
Thanks, Yannick. I know there are lots of ways to go with the weathering on these Gaslands things, so I'm happy to liked this approach. Cool. Have a super weekend. 🍁👊
Interesing video, good job, thanks for sharing. I really like watching new and interesting places. You have an interesting channel, so I'm staying and watching. Big like, stay connected.

0:47 Oh wow, I had that Tanker Truck as a wee nipper in the early 80's! The cab is long gone, but I think that trailer is still in a box somewhere in my garage. Here in NewZealand we tended to have Matchbox rather than Hotwheels, though the latter is dominant these days.
Hi Drew. So nice to know this one brought back some good childhood memories. The nostalgia angle is what got me started in this! Wishing you a fine weekend. 🍁👍
Thanks! No, not a perfect match. I did some free styling and used what I had! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Cool. Greetings from Switzerland. 🍁☕️👍
Wow that cab is fantastic, Andrew! Thoroughly liking the working plow & bug wind deflecter/flag mount. Glad you did the tire tread properly too lol, small details really stand out to me. My wife is the same when she pops in on me😄 On to part 2!
Great work Andrew. So many little parts and pieces here, I can really appreciate the work you put into this build. I don't have the time or patience for a war rig build (or the interest I guess) but after seeing yours, I'm reconsidering my thoughts. Bravo my friend
Honestly, Evan, the biggest leap was doing the very first one - the VW Beetle TBM build. After that, I was kinda hooked on these, mostly because they're fantasy and nobody can say it shouldn't be like that! Much easier not having to paint inside the lines too! 😂 Shiny is much harder and more open to scrutiny! I've now got a pretty good sized bin filling up with junk and random pieces for future builds. I'll take on another Fury Road vehicle in the Fall. Stay tuned for the Gigahorse. Keep reconsidering. I'd love to see more Gaslands out of MICD! Could be a fun workout for your 3D printer too. Go for it! 🍁👊🇨🇦
@@MapleLeafCustoms lol, I'm regretting even buying that 3d printer at this point. I literally have not even touched it or thought about it in weeks. Maybe one day

Thanks, Ricky. I actually think the larger project made it easier. My first Gaslands build was a VW Beetle and now one of those is almost lost on the back of this tanker! 😂 I've already started in on my race car for our Buddy Build. Well, I'm still finding my Gaslands groove, but this came out pretty well for one of my early efforts. Now for a diorama to set it on. Have a great weekend, James. From Switzerland - Andrew 🍁👊
That turned out great 😎
You've definitely outdone yourself 🙂👍
Thanks, Duane. They're all done for fun. This one was just bigger than the others! I'll do some more of the Fury Road vehicles in the future. Stay tuned! 🍁🇨🇦
Incredible build. Great work. Missed this one.
You've gone way back in the archives now, Jody! 😀 Glad you enjoyed it. This was my second Gaslands build and the first in my fleet of Fury Road vehicles, which I'm still adding to. 🍁☕️👊
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 amazing Job Andrew
🤩🤤 Like 👍 friend 🤜🏼🤛🏼🔔✅
Thank you for sharing 👋🙂.
Thank you so much, Sam. I'm glad to read these kind words.🍁👍
5:55 I saw those skulls for sale at my local hobby store, those would be perfect for a Mad Max-style car!
They're great add ons for these Fury Road vehicles. Grab a box! 🍁👍
Great job 👍 epic detail and craftsmanship. I've been make ng cars for Gaslands for several years and I haven't hit this level of awesomeness. 💀🤘👏👏
It's an interesting genre, isn't it? You can't really make a mistake, and for me it's nice not to have to paint inside the lines! Thanks for watching and commenting. Greetings from Switzerland! 🍁👊
Love your videos, you did a great job on this project. Top work!
Thank you very much! Since starting with this one, I'm working my way through many of the Fury Road vehicles. 🍁☕️👍
Wow you did an amazing job my friend that turned out spectacular! Stay safe my friend and healthy! Cheers from St Louis!
Thanks for the great feedback, Opa. It was bigger and took longer than any other builds I've done so far. Good times in the Wastelands! 🍁👊
That rig is freaking AMAZEBALLS! 🤘🏻
Thanks! 😂 Lot of work, but a really great time all the way through, start to finish! 🍁👊
Very well done Andrew. Massive build with a massive outcome, really like it!
Thanks. That's great to hear. It was a big canvas to work on, so lots of room for creativity!
“We are serious dudes” 🤣 Stunning work of art Andrew, so many great ideas amazingly executed, love it.
Thanks a ton, PB! I put some extra time into this one and enjoyed the whole process immensely. More Fury Road vehicles to come this Fall. I'm hooked! 🍁👊
Wow, Andrew! Simply fantastic and amazing. Thanks for sharing all your inspiration, talent and fun and yes, you are a great builder. Congrats! 💯👏👏👏🌟👍
Thanks so much, Hugo! The key word here is fun. No doubt about it. I didn't have any deadlines to worry about, so I just took my time over the summer and voila. No worrying about painting inside the lines either! 😂🍁
Very enjoyable watch Andrew, you certainly had fun with this one and let your imagination have free reign.
Very artistic.
All the best Martin 👍
Thank you, Martin. Fun is the key word, and if that's the goal, I was very successful on this one! Great time poking away at it over the summer weeks. The video was a bit longer than normal, but I had a lot to squeeze in there. I wish you a great week in the UK. Lovely weather here in Switzerland! 🍁
Nice processing my friend 👍😁 so cool
Thanks. That's great to hear, and I appreciate it very much! 🍁👊
EXCELLANT WORK! I LOVE it! GREAT video!
Thank you, Mark! This was the big project of the year, and continues to be my most watched video! Glad you spotted it and enjoyed it. 🍁☕️👊
Oh Wow, yes indeedy, that turned out awesome buddy, really awesome! Great job!
Thanks, Doug. There was no rush to complete this one. No deadlines, so I just took my time and poked away at it over the summer. Good times. Hope all is well with you! 🍁👊
@@MapleLeafCustoms - you’re mighty welcomed my friend! Excellent work! And yes sir all is fine here, thank you for asking, I appreciate that! Take care and stay healthy! 👍👍🤘✌🏻
The concept of cutting the buzzsaws with a cutting disk is making me giggle more than it should. This is a great build!
Ha! The irony of that was not lost on me. Glad you enjoyed the War Rig build. I've got lots of other Fury Road stuff uploaded too, if you're into that. Have fun looking around! 🍁👊
Hahahaha - - The Wrecking Ball and the Caution Chevron together is a seriously fun combination - - I like that very much - - Youve really done a spectacular job with this build Andrew - - And I like very much that you've fashioned parts from tin cans and toothpicks, plus 3d printed items to the scale and purpose you needed - - This War Rig Looks UTTERLY MENACING - - Fantastic . . !!!
You're always very encouraging and supportive, Vic. Thanks for that. I'm glad you noted the combo of 3D printed and scratch built parts. I hope they all blended in together in this beast. Have a super weekend now, my friend! 🍁👊
@@MapleLeafCustoms Thanks you Andrew - -and its a great pleasure watching - - you have a fantastic weekend too - - Stay safe.. !!
That is definitely a very impressive gaslands build! :)
Thank you, Summer. It's the biggest I've taken on so far that's for sure! More to come, as I'm hooked on these now. I'll spread them out though, so they don't become routine. Enjoy the weekend. 🍁👊
Most excellent and very enjoyable. Thank You!
Glad you enjoyed it, Brian! Thanks for the kind words. 🍁👊
Very impressive build, lots of details and certainly looks the part :)
Thanks, Juhani. The details are what make these, in the end. I had lots of fun making it. Glad you tuned in and enjoyed it. 🍁👊
80th like, and that should be tripled by now. Amazing work Andrew!!!
Thanks, Jamie! That's kind of you to say, and your opinion matters in these Gaslands projects. I'll be watching your stuff for more tips on dioramas now. That's my next learning curve. I need a nice home for this one and future builds. Gigahorse coming in the Fall! 🍁👊
Awesome job my friend, and really nice casting cars too my friend
Many thanks for the kind words! 🍁👊
Looks absolutely epic and ready for the fury road!
It came out looking the part, indeed. Thank you! 🍁
That is awesome, great build 👍.
Thanks, Ron. I appreciate that. 🍁👍
That's freaking awesome!
Thank you very much, Rick. This was a big project at that early stage in my hobby work. 🍁
Excellent work, very inspirational, thanks!

Turned out great, well done!
Thank you, Clarence. That's nice to read. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Very cool build major thumbs up 👍🏻🔥🤘🏻
Thanks! I'll take a major thumbs up any day! Cool. 🍁👊
Outstanding work Andrew! Great patina!
Thanks, Yannick. I know there are lots of ways to go with the weathering on these Gaslands things, so I'm happy to liked this approach. Cool. Have a super weekend. 🍁👊
It's s here!! I can't watch it at the moment but I'm looking forward to it later!
I hope you'll find time and enjoy it when you do. It's a bit longer than normal. Plan on two cups of coffee! 🍁☕️☕️
@@MapleLeafCustoms Hey Andrew this is actually Ben from BPCC. I forgot I was logged into my personal account haha. Great job again!
What a great video. Lovely music, nice narration and obviously an incredible build!
Thank you so much! I've got several other Fury Road builds up on my channel. I hope you'll check them out. 🍁👍
Impressive! Great final result 👍
Thank you, my brother! Glad you enjoyed this big project. It was fun to do. 🍁
Outstanding job 9n this war rig build. Thank you for the how to tips.

Absolutely satisfying build

That thing is awesome! Amazing detail, and weathering.
Thanks, Chris. Glad you found me here, and happy to know you enjoyed the War Rig build. Cool. 🍁👍
Interesing video, good job, thanks for sharing. I really like watching new and interesting places. You have an interesting channel, so I'm staying and watching. Big like, stay connected.
Hello, and thanks so much for visiting here and your kind feedback as well. I'm happy that you enjoyed this Gaslands war rig project. Cool. If you like the channel, be sure to get all subbed up. That would be a big help and a support! Greetings from Switzerland - Andrew 🍁👍
Nice work Andrew! 👏💪
Thanks, my man! 🍁👊
Wow Andrew that looks fantastic
Thanks, Brian! I appreciate the feedback. Still new at this Gaslands stuff. 🍁👊
What a great a model maker a War Rig from Mad Max Fury Road although not a perfect replica still looks as it belongs in Gas Town
Thanks! No, not a perfect match. I did some free styling and used what I had! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Cool. Greetings from Switzerland. 🍁☕️👍
@@MapleLeafCustoms you had to use what you but still a great model now l do collect car motorcycle forklift trucks and bus models my self
Amazing looking work!
Thank you for the kind words. That's nice to read! 🍁
Wow that cab is fantastic, Andrew! Thoroughly liking the working plow & bug wind deflecter/flag mount. Glad you did the tire tread properly too lol, small details really stand out to me. My wife is the same when she pops in on me😄 On to part 2!
Glad you liked Part 1 and made use of the intermission. 😂 This is a two coffee video! ☕️☕️ Enjoy the second half! 🍁
@@MapleLeafCustoms absolutely!
Maybe one day
@@MidIslandCustomDiecast You just need to get one good print batch out of it and you'll be a believer! And here's a bonus: just found a beaver emoji! 🍁🇨🇦🦫 Who knew? Ah, life's simple pleasures. 😂
Subscribed instantly. Having someone as a Gaslands youtuber with a rich scale modeling background is great! Not to mention this voice and decent editing. Sir, please keep on!
Thanks, Ilya. I appreciate the new sub and your kind feedback too. Got a Gigahorse build coming very soon. Stay tuned! 🍁👊
Turned out really good brother. 👍
Thanks. I'm happy with how it turned out, for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🍁👍
I was waiting for this build and it is here! I know it would be something spectacular, and it is. No one would believe that this is your 3rd gasland project. It is a work of art. You are a talented builder. I really love this one. Well done Andrew 👏
Thanks, Ricky. I actually think the larger project made it easier. My first Gaslands build was a VW Beetle and now one of those is almost lost on the back of this tanker! 😂 I've already started in on my race car for our Buddy Build. I know it's still 2 months away, but I got excited to get going. Enjoy a NYC weekend. 🍁👊
that's massive restoration, Andrew ...
Massive and lots of fun too! Thanks for tuning in for this special upload. Cool. Sampai lagi, temanku. 🍁👊

Thanks for watching and for the new sub too. Just finished a Gigahorse that you can find on my channel. Starting work now on the Doof Wagon, but I space these out as special uploads. 🍁👍
I love gaslands type of cars and also what is your favourite car in the movie and this vid was great
The War Rig was the star of the film, for sure. My favourite. 🍁👊👍
@@MapleLeafCustoms my favourite one was the Elvis and the gigahorse
