I was wondering what was talking so long, the dude 3D printed and entire model. Impressive, most impressive.
Do you follow his insta? If you follow it you can often see the projects he's working on. I already new he was working on this from his insta. So I'd recommend following him on insta.

is not enough for him to made models, even manufacture his own parts. he need to assemble the 3d printer himself. that is PLASMO craft level
Prusa 3D printers are funny to build. I made another type of Prusa model by myself too. It would be shame for him to buy it assembled.

He is great modeler (one of best on youtube), but top level? He barely started to climb into that mountain. For example check work of Andrzej Ziober. Especially his Mi6 which has taken 6 years of work. No PE parts, no 3d printing, no CNC.

The last video from Plasmo was released 2 months ago, so I was affraid that David quit making models. I'm addicted to this videos, they are better than movies :)
these things take time mate
ALL of the vehicles in the movie were 100% real. Real chassis, real v-12's and V-8's, real steel. They really chopped up a bunch of old classics and made the vehicles for the movie. They all run on their own power in the movie, they all still exist.
Just in case anyone didn't know.
There's a good video floating around somewhere on TH-cam about those movie vehicles, how they made and ran them for the film.
Mr David sir, I just want to say thank you for getting me into scale modelling. You are a big inspiration.

I just got my first 3D resin printer a few months ago and absolutely love it 😎 it makes conversions and kitbashing so much fun I can just print a bunch of bits and have fun.
I love how you explain how to do certain stuff, as if I would have any chance of replicating this!

Also worth mentioning, use a respirator/PPE when sanding resin. It's very toxic.

What a masterpiece!
I don't know what to be impressed with most: David's high level of detailing and painting, or the fact that this whole model was 3D printed!
Thus far, I've only ever used 3D printed parts to add detail to plastic kits (as I'm hoping to showcase in a video of my own soon), so seeing a master model builder creating a kit from scratch is just the inspiration I need to keep developing my skills. That said, I think I've got a bit more to practice before my work gets up to this level...

The print quality on that is incredible.
This is why resin 3D printers are such a big deal. Its still difficult to print for the average person, but in the hands of a motivated person, they can do amazing things. Well played Plasmo, i hope this is the start of a golden age of modeling subjects that don't get their time in the sun.
