Speech language pathologists sometimes work in schools, but also do a lot of work with adults post-stroke, cancer and brain surgeries, often focusing on swallowing to prevent aspiration, and also with gender affirming care. They are important inpatient hospital teams and work closely with PT and OT. Also I vote ghost girl! Respectfully disagree with Jordana’s take. I don’t think it’s worth not choosing her (when he already had a great time with her, loved her laugh etc etc) just to prove a U Up? rule about ghosting! Think Logan Ury - you’ve probably already met the “right person.” It sounds like it was a really nice start, so why not continue to explore??
Re ghost girl: he ghosted her for a reason. So probably no need to revisit. But he could still take her out by reconnecting with her directly. Why would she want to date him tho - it’s super rude to straight up ghost someone after a fun date and even some texting back and forth…
Listening to her speak was interesting - I would not have thought they would be a match. Not just because she said like every other word… But I think the best way to narrow down a blind connection is to actually get a fuller sense of the person behind an email. I hope you guys do it again but with a lot more to go off of.
It's so rare for an SLP to just work on a kid "repeating words for an hour." Also how about evaluations? At my last job, I worked with kids 3-5 who were minimally to non-verbal with autism and often behavioral issues. I'd love to see Jared try this job for a day and see how much of a "bullshit" job it is, which is pretty much what he was saying.

It's not illegal to drink coffee on the subway (before you come after me, I know it's frowned upon to eat/drink on the subway, but there aren't the same kind of laws against it as there are with open carry containers of booze).

You absolutely can, but on the other hand, it's illegal to be drinking booze on the subway (hence why you see drunks hiding their cans in paper bags on the train). I'm like 100% sure that Jared would not feel the need to take Ubers everywhere if he were just drinking coffee and Jordan confirmed that.
