I feel like if someone liked a profile on a dating app and if instead of responding to that ‘like’ there they messaged back on IG or whatever, the first person would still be annoyed or find it sus. Cuz I always got the sense that if you DM someone of the opposite sex on these non-dating app platforms they default to assuming that isn’t a platonic action, am I wrong? Could I have been messaging guys all this time and have been missing out making friendly connections all because I was avoiding giving the wrong impression?? Hmm.
