Blitzers in the top 5 for sure. The incendiary breaker is still number 1, the erupter is number 2, plasma and Blitzer fighting for 3-4 and sickle is 5. But I have been seeing more liberator penetrators. Blitzers have too many negatives to be a solid 1 or 2. One being it can't kill a charger with removed leg armor. On the other hand plasma can kill a titan if the back armor is broken.

Nice man! With it's fast fire rate and same stagger... I agree to this. However there are distance advantages especially when encountering Chargers when using Arc Thrower so overall there's something kind of a Trade OFF..
Been using it, unlimited ammo and stagger is nice, fire from hip seems better than trying to aim it, litterally just face enemy and pull tigger dont aim
i have been pairing it with napalm grenades against bugs and it has been fun. see a breech spawn just throw a grenade and fire away. get the most out of that fire damage with the acceptable rate of fire
There was a transition edit there that made it seem like u were fighting bots and terms on the sa,me map. I seriously had a flash of indigestion, like oh he'll fucking no type of flash acid. Arrowhead would have to do some major re balancing
It works well to keep the bugs away from you. However, moment shriekers get to you, you will know how useless blitzer is at desling with them. They hover just past the range limit. I would say its quite good at dealing with everything but falls short of inci breaker. And if you just want to deal with scavengers and hunters, sickle is much better option as you can kill ghem before they get to you unlike blitzer.
I agree I'm having a hard time fighting shriekers with this Arc btlizer.. but nontheless not a problem. still i love the stunlocks and push backs perks
How is its dmg comparable to the arc thrower? I've gone 1v1 with a charger with that thrower and frankly it's crap...the time to kill is stupid even when I was dodging it then throwing lightning bolts straight up its arse. I don't have circuit expansion yet but that doesn't Inc dmg....just makes one extra chain. So what's the best support to go with the Blitzer....cause it ain't the thrower
I have 760+ hrs in HD2 now, lvl150 and I always kept saying buffing its fire rate would put it over the edge, it was always teetering on the edge of becoming too strong for a primary, with its medium penetration, multi-hit, stagger and INFINITE AMMO, its range is also pretty decent too. I always thought it was a pretty good, crowd-control shotgun for use ON THE MOVE, if you never stood still with the Blitzer, you'd basically be fine, I used it A LOT before and was basically untouchable against hunters. I don't quite like the fact that this buff basically invalidated the base Punisher...it's basically a worse Blitzer in every way at this point. Hopefully IF HD2 survives the upcoming judgement day, they'll properly balance Blitzer, cuz it should only have good CC or dmg honestly, not both, especially with its infinite ammo. Or bring the 2 first Punishers up in line again, especially the basic Punisher. At this point, would be cool if the Punisher and Slugger gets more fire rate, and especially the basic Punisher with more damage, cuz the damage it has with only LIGHT pen is still worse than Blitzer, even at single-target, it can't even 2-shot Brood Commanders/Hive Guards like Blitzer can, not to mention just completely worse at dealing with hordes and sustainability.
I agree with some of your points, but I think the damage is a decent one because when it spreads the projectile the damage is not concentrated and it totally makes sense... But overall I like your comment man! 760hrs.... what a beast!
@@WayaliciousTV Of course the damage is spread out whenever you're dealing with more than 1 enemy in front of you, but it CAN concentrate all of its arc bolts onto a single target, dealing really high damage when all is said and done, that's basically already better than what the Punisher can even do. And honestly, because of the Blitzer's higher penetration, even if ythe damage is spread out, you're still doing a heck lot more damage to tankier enemies like Hive Guards and Brood Commanders, compared to the base Punisher. So you basically have a gun that can clear trash -> deal high single target dmg, versus a gun that can't clear trash as well but also deal less damage. That's basically 2 wins. Maybe they don't have to nerf the damage...maybe the 2 Punishers are the ones that actually need to be touched up, but the fact that of course, the Blitzer is simply better than them is undeniable xD.
There’s no other primary that allows me to go 1 vs 5 stalkers and close a nest so easily, I’d be dead / barely holding on without the Blitzer, but with it.. easy peasy
I also find punisher performs well against stalkers. You sacrifice unlimited any and medium armor pen for a faster fire rate to help with smaller bugs.
do I take blitzer over incendiary breaker? no. over scorcher? no way. over sickle? probably no. depends. heres the thing, it has an aimbot and all damage is head shots. BUT if bodies are around you and they have heads...they pull in arcs. So you have to keep moving and fight on clean ground so if youre running blitzer you're always being pushed. Now, if your stratagem weapon is the flamethrower or AMR for example, you're pulling back anyway. Good primary weapon, great even. But if the team has to hold or rush a point, you're almost as bad as a tesla tower or arc thrower for friendly damage or just no damage at all due to targeting. Second, it has a min and max effective range. Too close, no damage. Beyond 20m or so, no damage. If the enemy has range on you or is up in your shit, you may as well have a hand full of wet pasta. Something I think I discovered, maybe Im wrong, if you fire this first person scoped the target gets the entire blast. No jumping of the arcs. When any bug but 3 ( titan, charger, armored spewer ) gets the full blast facing front, its dead. If you have settings to remember scope, every time you bring it up its FPS for that special someone who needs extra democracy. try it, but be careful. Being FPS that close makes you blind.
Man... I agree with this, because of Incen Breaker's capability to kill kill chargers and bile titans with ease. Overall Incen breaker is my favorite primary then next is arc-12 blitzer.
Idk about the best prmary 😅 sometimes even though it hits things it doesnt do damage and sometimes it hits dead bodies instead of enemies doing nothing. Its not the best , but the weapon is better than it was.

Depends on a player I guess, but for Majority don't use it on Solo if you're not comfy with a solo run. Personally....Pairing this with a Rover backpack, + Napalm + 500kg + Quasar in a solo run would be a beast.. try it!
@@WayaliciousTV i have tried it. Its way to slow especially with these inconsistant dmg and with the rover you are so vulnerable as long as you don't constantly run. So missions are just harder with it. At some missions you need 3 napalms for clearing a point with two bugbreaches and 4 patrols and at the half of the mission there is the next big patrol an you are out of CD and need to kite so much, because you can't hold them off and so on.
@@RickSeri I dont know how you run it with a loadout... but for me I run it with stun grenade (to hold them in distance) and redeemer (for hunters/close range) and I run it with almost no problem. Unless there are too many Bile titans in a solo run... in that case you should run lol 💯
@@WayaliciousTV I also can run it, but its just to slow and redeemer has not enough ammo for the constant spawns of hunters unless you constantly run back and for to your resupply. And thats for a start. if you have a mission where you need to be stationary for a "longer" time, you will be out of supplies in the second half and Blitzer is just to slow to do the rest alone.
I honestly don't think so. This gun only deals mediocre dmg plus due to it's unconsistency and bad range, it's a pretty good payoff for that multi-stagger capability. The gun is in a pretty good spot right now!

It's useable now but slow and short range.
Some offs of this are just some inconsistent when a corpse or decors are in front or you...

It's inconsistent sometimes with damage and hit detection but it's definitely s tier. Sometimes you can 1 shot stalkers but other times itll take 4

arc thrower is better, you can 6-7 shots on it's head and they're dead. unlike this ARC Blitzer only good for Small and Medium enemies...
Reads title, yeah, i killed over 300 bugs in one mission, just slowly walked backwards with Blitzer. The next got 74 kills.
