It’s the worst when a caller can’t spit out what they’re trying to say. It’s insufferable
I feel the same way. I watch these clips. I don't listen to the live show because the callers are uninformed or misinformed. And they can't articulate their misinformed opinions. It is a tough listen. Also, any caller that starts off with how long they have been a fan are the worst. I immediately move on.
Is it really? Is it because you’re too Chicken to call? Lol
On 2-0, yes you have a green light, but you should only swing if it’s in your zone. Yes, it MIGHT be the best pitch you see, but it might not. So, the rule is not to take nor to swing, but to sit on a fastball where you like it. The 2-0 pitch to Verdugo was outside and he should not have swung.
You have to be able to manufacture a run here and there. Steal a run. They still can't steal a base, hit and run, hit a grounded to the right side to get a man over, or drive a ball to the outfield to tag a runner in. Every time we get something going, it's a K, or double play, or can't get it out of the infield and throw out at home.
