Be brilliant if you could expand on the history of the WWWF/WWF/WWE from the mid 90’s New Generation to the Attitude era to the Ruthless aggression era all the way to the end of Vince Mc Mahon’s era and the merger of the WWE with Endevour to end the whole story.
That would bring it all up to date. You’ve done an amazing job so far so why not finish what you’ve started?

Totally agree with you to see a video about the New Generation time when the business went into one of it’s worse recessions with crowd numbers and PPV buys went down but also WWE had fallen behind with the times and wasn’t showing a 90’s product for it’s 90’s audience. The 90’s was a great edgy time where bad guys or antiheroes were what people wanted and they finally produced the Attitude Era which was perfect for the time (90’s was the best decade ever unlike the 2010’s onwards where the world has become a shit place, if we had today’s technology in the 90’s then it would’ve been perfect).

One hell of a series!!! That closing monologue had tears in my eyes as I watched my childhood. I “grew out “ of wrestling as the Gokden age ended, but my god what I would do to go back to those amazing days of my childhood watching SNME and spending my Saturday morning s with Superstars and Chalkenge. I’ll never forget the excitement of getting my WWF magazine in the beginning of every month. Those of us old enough to have experienced this are forever blessed by its magic!!!

I was in grade school when Survivor Series 91 happened. The Hogan/Undertaker match was a big deal. WWF was evidently in a slump, but amongst us kids that was not the case at all. The addition of Flair really made things interesting and for a brief moment, the Top Card was very full with real, credible guys who could be champion. The 1992 Royal Rumble was epic to watch live. The upper-Mid Card was also super deep. The Perfect-Hart IC Title reign was the defining era for title and made some of the smaller guys ready for the New Generation top-card. But then, all of a sudden, by SS 1992 things had drastically changed. The WWF had hemorrhaged top-level talent It was even obvious to 10 year-olds. Wrestlemania IX was such a bomb that a few of my friends stopped watching WWF altogether.

I’ve watched everyone on this channel since the WC days and I am genuinely happy and proud of each one of those guys’ growth and love for pro wrestling. From Jack literally becoming the MVP (in my opinion) of this channel to Adam P. being one of the most endearing figures on this platform, to the emotional connection we feel to Ross, to the pure energy and presence and love provided by Andrew and Tom, to the the rising star of Nathan, to the workhorse of this channel in Sam! This series has made me appreciate a time in wrestling that I grew up on and made me a bigger fan of this channel. Thank you guys for the amazing content that you guys put your all into, because we as fans see all the love you put in to this. Thanks for these. I was so into wrestling during the whole lead up to wrestlemania 5. Getting to see my wrestling childhood presented like this is just amazing. I learned a bunch of things as a kid I never knew. What a great and unexpected Christmas Present!

This four-part series was absolutely phenomenal. As someone who has no memory of Wrestling until 2000, this was a fascinating insight that has given me a whole new appreciation of the ‘Golden Age’ of WWF.
Thank you, Cultaholic. Bravo, Sam. 👏

Great job guys. From a fan's aspect, WM8 was one of the last decent 'Manias until WM14. 'Mania 10 wasn't bad, but 9, 11, 12 and 13 each had only a couple of good matches. Merry Christmas and a happy 2024 to the Cultaholic bunch!

1-3 are 1980's camp wild west. Then theyre not so exciting until Warrior vs Hogan. After that, lot of hit and miss but only remember the toga one.

CAN'T WAIT!!!!! *Edit* So after watching parts 1-4 now, collectively these are literally nothing short of a genuine masterpiece! Having started watching WWF when I was in 2nd grade (1987), not only do these bring back so many awesome memories, also with so much extra information delivered with a perfect blend of truly brilliant storytelling mixed with wit and comedy - I could watch these over and over! Thank you so much for your hard work! It's perfect!

Thank you so much for this. I am from the UK and only had access to the WWF for about 1 year when I was 10-11 years old (circa 90-91) via sky/cable tv. My first watched main events were Suvivor series 90, Wrestlemani 7 & Royal Rumble 91... I was hooked for life and thankfully I managed to take myWrestling mad 6 year old nephew to The O2 in London for Money in the bank 2023 and we both loved it (great memories were made). This is the best and longest thing I've ever watched on TH-cam so thank you for that. 2 hours of nostalgia flew by and I loved every second of it. RIP to all the greats in this video that made some of my cherished childhood memories. When Warrior beat Macho Man at Wrestlemania 7 for the career ending match I was running around my house like a mad man... One of my all time favourite matches as I was a huge Warrior fan.
