my 2014 fusion 2.0 engine.. i just went to home depot, and bought two 1 inch pvc white plastic plugs and on hoe clamp.. cost less than $5.00 remove the sound symposer,, dropped the plug into it.. hose clamped it off and took out that long hose from the firewall to the symposer,, cut the hose to about 4 inches.. stuff the 2nd 1 inch plug into the hose. placed other end of the hose back on the firewall stubb mount.. much quiter now in my car..
The sound symposer delete gets rid of the "extra" engine noise you hear in the cabin. Makes the car sound more realistic. Some people end up using the boost port to run it to a true vacuum setup.
I thought the same thing, in case the new owner wanted it back on. Then I rembered the it would still be actuation and allow some engine noise in possibly.
I watched many videos about this thing but yours turned out to be the most comprehensive! Thanks 😍
Thanks!!
For sure very straightforward
In-depth install as always.. excited to see if it made a difference!!
Sound comparison coming soon ;)
I have the same delete, keep up the good work
Thanks!

Hi is it now quieter in the cabin after deleting it?
What’s the idea of doing this?

@@andrewmackey6185 got it thank you
Great video
Is it bad if my tube has been disconnected for some time?
The tube connected to your solenoid? Do you still have the sound symposer in the engine bay?
@@andrewmackey6185 Yeah the tube is gone and solenoid is still there.
Cant you just pull off the pipe to the bulkhead and cap them off?
