- Lets spend the next two days together in this weeks studio vlog, as we get productive and begin our Spring product range!
✏️ First up I need to organise and find a new space for my new sticker and coaster packaging
✏️ Then we get our sketchbooks out for the first time in what feels like ages 🙈 as we begin illustrating and creating art for our new daffodil and duck collection
✏️ I show you my thought process and how i illustrate my characters on procreate!

As someone who watches Studio Vlogs while packing orders or illustrating, I always prefer more talking over less talking. I'm usuallynot actively watching 50% of the video because I'm focusing on what I'm doing and always miss what's going on if no talking is involved. 😊

Yeah unless my phone service is good I often can't or don't read the small text. I Actuly don't like reading it because I am wanting to do other things while I watch and feel like I miss out if I don't. I often have to pause the videos to read it if I am on my computer or if it's clear enough on my phone to read. But on the other hand I am very aware that if u put text on I do try to read it and a lot of people have reported from the creator end say that it adds to watch time duration. I think in the movie industry every 7 seconds something needs to change to keep people's attention. So I don't know 🤷

as someone who as enjoyed your vlogs, i really do appreciate the voiceover, explanations and sometimes you reflect on what you were doing that either worked or didn't work. i think that can be helpful when working thru things. always love your art & the fairy lights are def cozy.

About doing different colours, I think like a black/grey/white for Halloween would be interesting! Think like old black and white films, would be super cool and vintage. Plus I think all you’re stuff is adorable but I am a black, monochrome gal 😂

So many things to discuss from this wonderful video!
I enjoy both the voice-overs and the ones where you talk and discuss as you go! Both have their pros and cons, and I think going between them for differences from time to time can be healthy as it keeps you from feeling as though it is a repeat button. Personally, I am not picky one way or the other as the voice-over allows you to discuss additional information that perhaps wasn't thought of on the spot during the recording.
My favorites are definitely stuck between two, and I'll give my reasons why for both! Bumblebutt and Puddin are my faves. Bumblebutt because of his love for flowers and his affiliation and adorable-ness when he is designed on a daisy. As daisies were my Mom's favorite flower ("don't you think that daisies are the happiest flower?" is what she'd say) I have a major love for Bumblebutt in relation to my Mother. Puddin is my favorite without question because he's adventurous, way too bloody cute, and looks to enjoy putting on gloves and not knowing what the heckles it's for! For me, Puddin is a mood and I love him.
As for the new range with the duckies and updated Bumblebutt and the daisy, I squealed! Not only are they all super adorable, but new Bumblebutt and Daisies are absolutely GRAND!! I'm super duper excited for them to come out and can't wait to have them to look at and make me smile! :)
I love the lights up so please keep them. They look very magical ✨️And instead of coffee purchase fruit and good fruit juice 😋 it works for me and I my creativity flow so much more than when I'm sat at my desk. But thats just me😊 for me its Bumblebutt.
I’m literally the same I’ll be looking at something in a magazine or catalog or something and try to zoom in then remember that it’s paper and not on my phone I so it a lot. Love you r videos love watching them very week ❤🥰✨

IMHO clear lights are never tacky - they add sparkle any time of the year! I love that you're making Satsuma again; I try to collect all your feline pins as I am a cat person. Also prefer your lovely voice overs!

I prefer the voice overs because I can work with you. I don't have to be glued to the screen in fear of missing the text. It's so inviting.
I love your videos. The fairy lights should stay up if you ask me. They make the studio look so nice and cozy. Also I really enjoy more talking in a video. Sometimes I have it on in the background and don't always get to read whats on screen.
I would totally buy a Katnipp Coloring book! And I dig the faerie lights. I think if they bring you happiness, you should keep them. If you think they are tacky, remove them. I kind of miss the live sound, but as long as you still have the packing videos, I think I will be good. Those are so relaxing. :)
Laughing over the double tap in your sketchbook, lol. I've tried swiping my book pages before to turn the page like in an e-book, and I've tried to zoom into a photo once in a magazine.

I listen to your studio blogs like they’re podcasts in a way - honestly I’d love to listen to you talk about running a cozy business on a podcast weekly lol! So more talking is always great. Your channel is such a spree of comfort and inspiration for me.

I used to love your previous videos too, but I'm enjoying this style more voiceovers & storytelling even more, as I usually watch you as I edit photos or draw myself & it's harder for me to keep track of the text and keeps me more engaged 😊
I also prefer the narration! I feel like I pay attention better when it's a chatty vlog and it feels a lot more 'personal' in a way too! I really like how you mix talking and silent bits into your vlogs too, it always feel almost cinematic haha >o

I love this style of video.. I’m lucky enough to be able to watch TH-cam while I’m working and love the talking. Sometime when it’s less taking it’s harder for me to follow but I always go home and rewatch to make sure I don’t miss anything. Absolutely love you and your journey you’re such an inspiration to me and the reason I started my own small business.

LOVE the more chatty vlogs - I for one found myself pausing your videos lately, because the text went away too fast and I couldn't read it all in time. It also meant I was missing a lot of the visuals... this vlog = no pausing and I caught all the action, thanks for switching it up :)

I like your voice over vlogs better than the ones with subtitles. Just because it is hard to catch what you are showing in the vlog when I have to read at the same time.
